Chapter 311 Prince Roland ①

Edited by: Kanaa-senpai

The morning after the orgy in Her Majesty’s bedroom was remarkably quiet. It seemed that Muse, the maid who had slipped away halfway through last night’s festivities, had arranged for Queen Cecile to have the day off.

Before she had drifted off, Cecile had murmured, “I wonder how long it’s been since my last holiday…” Now, she lay beside me, the soft whistle of her breath the only sound in the room.

The erotic lingerie, stained with the evidence of our night, lay discarded in a heap at the edge of the massive canopy bed. Beneath the duvet, we were all in our natural states. Cecile was on my left, Muse just beyond her, and Mel—the Royal Guard Captain—was on my right.

Everyone was still lost in their dreams, which was well and good, but being pinned by a trio of soft, bare curves meant my “member” was waking up with far more energy than I knew what to do with.

Since it was a rare holiday, I had to fight the urge to wake them all for a round that would last until tomorrow morning. Even if the “Stampede” had been settled, these women were still exhausted and needed the rest. I gently brushed a stray golden lock from Cecile’s forehead, stroking her hair just enough to be affectionate without waking her. I lay there for a while, listening to the birds chirping outside, savoring the stillness.

I was basically trapped by a wall of feminine warmth, but I wasn’t about to complain about the fringe benefits. Eventually, Cecile’s eyes fluttered open, then closed, as she began to wriggle restlessly under the covers.

”Mnnngh…” Cecile moaned. “You awake?” I asked. “M’wake…” she replied, echoing me like a sleepy child.

I couldn’t help but chuckle, continuing to pet her head. She nuzzled into my chest, rubbing her cheek against me. As her soft weight shifted, pressing even more firmly against my “morning wood,” I realized it wasn’t going to settle down any time soon.

”It’s… hard,” Cecile noted. “Well, that’s what happens when you’re clinging to me like this,” I said. “My body feels like lead…”

”You probably can’t even stand, so just stay here and relax for a bit, okay?” I suggested. “Mmm…”

Whether she found the pressure against her lower belly annoying or enticing was anyone’s guess, but she started idly kneading it with her hand. She looked like she was about to drift off again while still holding onto me. Stop that, you’re going to give me ideas… or is this an invitation? While I was debating the merits of a morning session, a voice drifted over from the other side of her.

”That’s quite enough, Lord Harvest. Any more and you’ll ruin her for tomorrow’s schedule,” Muse said. “Muse? You were awake?” I asked. “I just woke up. Though, even while I was asleep, I was aware enough to know you were lying there smirking while watching Cecile-sama’s sleeping face,” Muse replied. “Ah… is that so?”

She was impressively sharp, even when she was out cold. As I was admiring Cecile, I felt a sudden squeeze from behind. It seemed Mel had woken up too. Like Muse, she’d apparently been in a state of semi-vigilance.

”I’ll go prepare breakfast. The other maids are likely getting anxious since they haven’t been summoned yet,” Muse said.

With a slow movement, Muse crawled out from under the duvet. She wasn’t talking about maids like herself who handled the “shadow” work, but the regular domestic staff. If the Queen suddenly took a day off and didn’t emerge from her room, rumors would fly. In fact, I suspected the whole castle was already whispering.

I started to reflect on how much I’d overdone it last night—all those positions and play—and decided I should probably get up too. I reached down to gently pry Cecile’s hand off my crotch, but Mel reacted first. Then Muse. Before I could ask what was wrong, the door rattled.

”Sister! Sister, are you alright?!” a voice shouted.

We all bolted upright, hearts hammering. It was a boy’s voice—cracking slightly with puberty, but still youthful. There was only one person who would barge toward the Queen’s private chambers calling her “Sister.” It had to be the King’s brother, Prince Roland.

”R-Roland?!” Cecile shrieked. “You—you can’t come in! Absolutely do not enter!”

”I-I’m not coming in! The door is locked anyway! Were you… were you asleep? You sound strange,” Roland shouted back. “Yes! Just… wait a moment! Whatever you do, do NOT open that door!” Cecile cried.

Cecile was fully awake now, scrambling out of bed in a blind panic. Muse and Mel were already in motion, flanking her and ushering her toward the ensuite bath. They needed to scrub away the scent of the night and get her presentable in record time.

I was left alone on the bed, watching three pairs of naked backsides retreat—all of them with my seed still trickling down their thighs. As I lay there, limbs sprawled out, I couldn’t help but feel like the classic “secret lover” in a bad play. I scratched my head, wondering exactly how I was supposed to disappear.

 Thirty minutes later.

Cecile had managed to stash Roland in a separate parlor while she performed a miracle of grooming. She’d complained bitterly about the hickeys and bite marks I’d left all over her, but with enough makeup and a high-collared dress, she’d managed to hide the evidence.

As for me, since a man emerging from the Queen’s bedroom would be a national scandal, I was ushered out through the secret passage. I wasn’t sent home, though. Instead, I met up with Muse in a quiet corner of the castle. We walked out into the main hall with perfectly neutral faces, acting as if I’d just arrived for an official appointment.

”We’re framing this ‘holiday’ as a scheduled meeting between you and His Highness,” Muse explained. “Isn’t that a bit of a stretch?” I asked. “The Queen takes her first day off in years just to introduce me to her brother? People are going to be suspicious.”

”On the surface, it’s a family day. Your presence is a ‘coincidence.’ You just happened to be at the castle for business, and Her Majesty decided to call you in since she had the opening,” Muse said.

Muse put a lot of emphasis on the word “coincidence.” I mean, I had been hanging around the Court Mages’ workshop lately, so it wasn’t a total impossibility, but still…

”Listen to me,” Muse said, her gaze turning sharp. “Do NOT speak to her like you did last night. No intimacy, no lingering glances. If His Highness even suspects you’re his sister’s paramour, his emotional development—and his ‘tastes’—will be scarred for life.”

”Yeah, yeah, I get it,” I replied.

I knew what she meant. Roland was the definition of “sheltered.” He was even more innocent than Cecile used to be. It was no wonder Muse was worried.

Still, it took me back. The last time I’d actually spoken to the kid was a chance encounter in the hallway after a meeting with Cecile. Back then, I’d had to lean into my “mysterious, suspicious shopkeeper” persona so he wouldn’t realize I was the guy running the Adult Goods Magic Shop. I’d played it like one of those mid-game NPCs—the guy who knows too much and speaks in riddles.

I smirked to myself. Finally, the ‘suspicious shopkeeper’ reveals his true colors. The classic ‘Wait, this guy is actually a big deal?!’ trope. This is going to be good.

I started wondering how I should make my entrance. I’d need my pipe, for sure. I couldn’t exactly call myself the inventor of the “Ejaculation Cannon,” so I’d have to carry myself as a world-class authority on micro-magic circuits.

”I don’t know what you’re plotting in that head of yours,” Muse interrupted, “but keep your mouth shut unless necessary. Let Cecile-sama lead the conversation.”

”I’ve got it. But seriously, what does Ce—Her Majesty actually want from me? She gave me the gist last night, but…”

It was something about “handling women” and preparing him for his eventual coronation. Muse looked at me with a look of pure, unadulterated judgment. She paused, then sighed.

”She isn’t looking for a lecture on ‘knowledge’ from a book. She wants him to see the world through someone like you—someone who doesn’t fit into the rigid boxes of the court. She wants him to know about the common folk, and the reality of the world outside these walls,” Muse explained. “That’s a hell of a responsibility,” I said.

”Don’t overthink it,” Muse said. “To put it simply… she wants you to act like an older brother to him.”

”An older brother? Great. Now I feel even more pressured,” I replied.

Looking back at how Cecile had acted last night, it started to click. An older brother figure. A mentor who was also a peer. To a teenage boy, a sister’s boyfriend or a “cool” older guy can be a massive influence.

”I am telling you one last time,” Muse hissed, her eyes boring into mine. “Do NOT teach him any of your… degenerate kinks!”

I just nodded, keeping my thoughts to myself. Sorry, Muse, but younger brothers are basically hardwired to raid their older brother’s stash and get warped by their influence. It’s the circle of life.
