Chapter 131 Scraps of Paper and the Open Air

Edited by: Kanaa-senpai

The morning of Day 46 found us deep within the 11th floor. It was 11:00 AM when we reached the outskirts of the Orc settlement.

 ”Fireball! Fireball! Fireball!”

I opened the engagement by pouring double my usual Mana Capacity into a continuous barrage of flame, targeting the cluster of shacks. Beside me, Sayaka loosed four Ice Arrows, her projectiles whistling through the air toward the Orcs patrolling the camp.

Thwack. Thwack. Sanae followed up, the heavy cord of her greatbow singing with power. The shacks erupted into a glorious inferno, burying the Orcs inside under flaming debris. Two Orcs caught in the open were riddled with ice; another, frozen in shock at the burning entrance, took one of Sanae’s arrows straight through the heart. A fourth tried to scramble out of a nearby hut, only for an arrow to pin his shoulder to a support beam.

We had effectively neutralized six of them in the first ten seconds.

Finally realizing they were under attack, four survivors grabbed their clubs and charged out of the smoke. Sanae remained cold and composed, picking them off one by one. However, two of the beasts ducked from the main path into the treeline, attempting to flank us through the brush.

Sanae clicked her tongue in annoyance.

 ”Karen,” I said.

”On it!” Karen stepped forward with a smirk, leveling her magic gun at the foliage.

The Orcs were barely ten meters out, with plenty of cover between us. But as the magic gun barked-crack, crack-the mana-slugs tore through the leaves. One Orc crumpled, clutching a shattered chest, while the other collapsed instantly as a spray of crimson erupted from his throat.

 ”Masterfully done, Karen-san,” Sheena noted.

”Yes! A direct hit!” Karen cheered, pumping a fist.

I moved past them, patting Rock on his armored shoulder. He’d been a reliable wall throughout the floor. “Good work, everyone. Sanae, that bow was worth every coin. Rock, Saizou-stay on your toes.”

Rock let out a low, satisfied wafun.

”Well… you spent a fortune on this gear,” Sanae replied, looking away to hide her reddening cheeks. “I’m just providing a return on your investment.” Despite her stoic words, she couldn’t hide the small, satisfied smile tugging at her lips.

Sayaka didn’t miss it, pulling the warrior into a sudden hug. “You were amazing, Sanae!”

”I-it was a simple task,” Sanae stammered.

”Fufu,” Sayaka giggled. “Thanks to Sanae, Master didn’t even have to step into the fray. I’ll have to make your favorite dinner tonight.”

Sanae’s expression softened further. “Is that so? Am I… truly being useful to Sanada Yakumo? I see.”

”Wipe that disgusting look off your face, you filthy sow,” Sheena interjected, her eyes sharp. “If you’re done preening, go finish off your kin over there.”

”Wh-!? Who are you calling an Orc’s kin!?”

I ignored the bickering and entered the settlement. Saizou was already there, silently and efficiently crushing the limbs of any Orc still clinging to life. He was a grim, tireless worker-very much like myself.

”Good work, Saizou. Pile the survivors in the center. Let Karen, Sanae, and Lucy deliver the final blows for the experience points,” I commanded.

 ”Gyoi,” Saizou replied.

While they finished the survivors, I scouted the camp. No obvious chests. Was this not a monster house? Then I spotted it: a shack slightly larger and sturdier than the rest-the chief’s hut. I kicked through the rotting boards at the entrance. Inside, resting in the center of the cramped room, was a copper treasure chest.

”Hey! Loot! Get over here and secure the perimeter!” I shouted.

The girls moved into a defensive circle around the hut, Rock at the lead. I kept my distance, using my machete to pry the lid open. When no traps triggered, I stepped in to inspect the haul. Inside was a Grade 4 Mana Recovery Potion, a Medal of Return, and a small, clean-cut scrap of paper.

It was a small rectangle, barely the size of a business card. On it was written a single character: [『マ』(Ma)].

”What is it, Yakumo?” Karen asked, leading the others inside.

”It was in the chest with the potion,” I said, handing her the scrap. They huddled around it.

”Just ‘Ma’?” Sayaka tilted her head. “Wait, is that a comma in the bottom corner, or just a smudge?”

”Knowing this place, it’s probably important,” I said.

Sheena looked at the scrap thoughtfully. “I’ve seen nothing like it.”

”It’s a floor gimmick,” I concluded. “Like the 9th floor. We’ll likely need to clear every settlement and gather these scraps to unlock the way forward. The good news is, if every camp has a copper chest, this floor is a gold mine.”

We decided to take an early lunch. I deployed the magic tent and gave Rock and Saizou their rewards-sports drinks and black sugar candy-before they took the first watch.

After lunch, while the others rested, I led Sanae behind the chief’s shack. She followed in silence, her head bowed, her body trembling with anticipation. I pressed her against one of the support pillars, forcing her to lean forward.

”H-here?” she whispered. Her face was flushed deep crimson, her eyes moist.

”The camp is clear, it’s safe,” I said, my voice low. “And from this angle, you can see the Training Facility, can’t you? The other students should be starting their afternoon drills. Don’t you want them to see how their ‘elite’ classmate is being handled?”

Sanae’s shoulders heaved as a shiver ran through her. “N-no… if they see…”

”You’re shivering because you’re excited. You want them to watch, don’t you?”

 ”I… please… Yakumo…”

I reached down and unzipped her crotch-fastener. She was already drenched, her body responding far more honestly than her words. I didn’t waste time with mana-infusions; she was already primed. I drove into her all at once, the force of the impact making the pillar groan.

 ”Ah! Yakumo! It’s-it’s so deep!”

”Look at you,” I growled, my hands gripping her hips as I set a punishing pace. “Soaked through just thinking about being seen. You really are a pervert, aren’t you?”

The sounds of our collision-the rhythmic thwack of skin on skin-filled the air. Sanae clung to the wood, her head tossed back, screaming into the open sky as her long legs shook. I reached around to her chest, pulling her armor aside to pinch her n**ipss until she was sobbing with pleasure.

”I’m close, Sanae. Take every drop.”

”Yes! Give it to me! Fill me up, Yakumo! Right here… in front of everyone… AHHHH!”

I buried myself deep against her and let go. Sanae hit her peak the instant I emptied into her, her internal muscles clenching in a desperate, crushing rhythm. She hung there against the pillar, gasping, her mind completely shattered by the sensation.

I eventually pulled away, and she turned with glazed eyes to dutifully clean me up, her submission total.

”Good girl,” I whispered, stroking her hair. “Maybe we’ll find another spot at the next settlement.”

She nodded frantically, a dazed, happy smile on her face as we prepared to move out.

 Summary:

Sanada Yakumo’s party raids an Orc settlement on the 11th floor, finding a mysterious scrap of paper with the character ‘Ma’ inside a copper chest. Yakumo realizes this is a floor-wide gimmick requiring multiple scraps to proceed. After the battle, Yakumo takes Sanae behind a shack for a voyeuristic s*xual encounter, exploiting her shame and excitement over being seen by their classmates.

 —

 Trivia:

 - The 11th floor doesn’t have chests on the roads, only inside settlements.

 - Saizou and Rock are rewarded with specific items (sports drinks/candy) for their work.

 - The scrap of paper has a comma/smudge in the bottom corner.

 - Sanae’s gear was a significant financial investment by Yakumo.

 - The Training Facility is visible from the settlement, adding a voyeuristic layer to the scene

 —

 Character Insight:

Sanae shows deeper psychological conditioning; she is beginning to derive pleasure from the extreme juxtaposition of her role as an ‘elite’ warrior and her reality as Yakumo’s submissive ‘sow.’ Yakumo is leaning into his role as a tactical manager of both combat and pleasure.

 —

 Behind the Scenes:

The ‘Ma’ scrap is likely part of a larger word or spell that serves as the floor’s boss key or exit password.
