Even though we were in the middle of a school trip, I’d just lost my virginity. Chinatsu-chan had practically jumped me in the multi-purpose restroom¹ at the rest stop. By the time I shuffled back to the bus, everything felt… wrong.
The three of us were the last to return. Livia-sensei was slumped over in the front row, fast asleep. All the other guys, except for Ginga-kun and me, had been packed into the front seats like sardines.
”Wait, Livia-sensei…?” I asked.
”She’s fine. I just fixed it so she won’t wake up until we pull into the hotel ♡” Shiori-chan replied with a playful wink.
Adding a heart to the end of that didn’t make it any less creepy, Shiori-chan. Judging by her tone, that “sleep” was definitely intentional.
”Lucky you, Lumine-chan,” someone said.
”Yeah. I’m finally free from Big Sis and her constant lecturing,” Lumine-chan said, sighing with relief.
Sakasaki Lumine followed behind us with a smug grin. I could feel the other guys’ glares stabbing into me-it was terrifying. Meanwhile, the girls in the middle rows just looked exhausted.
”Nasu-kun,” Kandagawa Rinko called out.
”Y-yes? What is it, Kandagawa-san?” I stammered.
”Once this trip is over, do me a favor and ask Livia-sensei to change the seating chart. I want to be as far away from you as humanly possible,” Kandagawa said.
”U-understood,” I replied.
”Wait, is Rinko seriously still a virgin? That’s so cute, like a total teen drama ☆” Nagai Kahoru teased.

”I-I’m sorry…” Haruka-chan murmured, her twin-tails swaying as she looked at her shoes.
”But until you pick someone-or reject us all-we’ve decided to just share the love ♡” Shiori-chan said.
I was lost. This was the kind of harem nonsense you only see in manga. This was supposed to be modern Japan.
”Takumi-kun, I love you,” Hikari-chan said.
”I… I love you too, Hikari-chan,” I replied.

”Wait, what are you talking about?” I asked. Flavia? Eileen? I didn’t know those names.
Oh, that princess’s execution was peak cinema! Beheading the girl he loved, then holding her body and wailing-it was perfect. I want to see more of that.
”Shiori! It’s no use… I’m the only one who remembers,” Lumine-chan sobbed, hugging me tight. “We should never have given the seat of God back to Rusty!”
This wasn’t a kiss of love. It was a kiss of goodbye.
”I’m sorry. I messed up. We’re going to be reset, but… but I promise, we’ll get it right next time…”
Yeah… let’s move the ‘Great Lesta Famine’ up a year. It’s been nearly two thousand years anyway. Personally, I was fine with the Chairman winning and ending the scenario here, but hey, I got a better suggestion.
”Yeah. You won’t top this ending anyway, so let’s make this the series finale. I can’t wait. Tragedy is just the best, isn’t it?”

”Suggestion? From who?” I tried to shout.
But no one answered. Clinging to Lumine-chan, my consciousness dissolved into the dark.

”What happened, Kahoru-chan?” I asked.
