Chapter 132 Lesson Time for the Children Who Inherit the Evil Dragon’s Blood
Edited by: Kanaa-senpai
Daily life in the Underground Temple revolved around the education of the children who carried the blood of the Calamity Dragon.
In a modern Japan where spirits and monsters¹ run rampant, half-bloods between humans and youma aren’t exactly unheard of. However, when the “other half” is a primordial dragon, the scale of power shifts entirely. Friction with society is inevitable. It starts with simple physical dominance and ends with the girls’ heightened senses inadvertently stripping away the privacy of everyone around them. Simply put, my job was to hammer enough common sense into these children so they could at least feign a place in human society.
With the Dragon’s “Clairvoyance”², they can see to the edge of the world. With their “Acute Senses,” they can hear a pin drop across a city if they don’t consciously muffle the noise. To a normal human, these girls are walking, breathing privacy violations. If they ever hoped to have real relationships – or simply walk down a street without causing a panic – they had to learn to keep their power under wraps.
”Lord Father, if I witness a crime through my Clairvoyance… unless it’s an immediate emergency, I should remain a bystander, correct?” Ryuuin Akika asked.
”Unless you see someone in physical danger or witness a major felony, you must refrain from using the Dragon’s power on a whim,” I replied. “There is no end to the world’s sins, Akika. For girls like you, who see across a thousand miles, discernment is your only shield against meddling.”
I was currently lecturing my four young princesses – Shiratsuki, Akika, Meizuki, and Gingetsu – on the bare essentials of human life.
The mechanics of society, the social standing of the youma, and the way world religions view half-bloods… it was far too much for children who were technically still infants. But they carried a lethally gorgeous grace and a terrifyingly high aptitude for learning. I had to be meticulous. If I failed to cultivate a spirit of tolerance, their superior lineage would inevitably turn them into the worst kind of tyrants.
But there was a catch. If I taught them to be too soft, they would be hunted and exploited by those seeking the Dragon’s power. Yet, if I taught them to be too hard, they would grow up viewing the rest of humanity as mere insects to be crushed.
Finding that balance was a nightmare. The reality is that the children of the Calamity Dragon are, for all intents and purposes, a master species. Aside from their fanatical devotion to their father, their baseline abilities are simply on a different plane of existence.
In less than six months – despite being the offspring of a world-ending Dragon and the former head of the most prestigious exorcist family – Sakuya and Uigetsu were already rivaling the world’s elite. In a few years, they will be monsters capable of challenging high-ranking gods.
And then there were these little ones – the “forbidden fruit” of our union. Akika and Gingetsu only carry a quarter of the Dragon’s blood, but no matter how much my own genes “dilute” the mix, that overwhelming power shows no sign of fading. Even compared to Meizuki, born directly from the Dragon Yaten, their latent potential is virtually identical.
I knew the Dragon’s blood bypassed the biological risks of inbreeding, but the fact that the power doesn’t degrade across generations is haunting. No matter how thin the blood gets, they still possess the spiritual capacity of the first generation. Factor in their reproductive rate, and it’s a terrifying conclusion: Pure-blooded humans are officially a legacy species. Extinction is just a matter of time!
If these girls weren’t hard-coded to view their father as their sole eternal mate – if they were to breed indiscriminately – the dominant species of this planet would change in a single generation. Their bloodline is a biological cheat code. Even paired with a common human, the result is a powerhouse. If it weren’t for their soul-deep obsession with me, they would have dismantled civilization by now.
The only thing standing between humanity and a global takeover is the fact that their hearts are chained to mine. The thought of these dangerously beautiful girls moving through the world unaligned, acting on every whim, made my blood run cold. If I hadn’t chosen to bind them to me, that is the future we would be living in.
”Are you alright, Lord Father? You have a look in your eyes like you’re staring into an abyss,” Shiratsuki noted softly.
”It’s nothing,” I said, shaking off the dark thoughts. “Let’s get back to it. Does anyone have questions about today’s lecture?”
I forced my focus back to the room. The young princesses immediately vied for my attention, hands shooting up. Seeing that spark of curiosity in their eyes made me proud as a father, even as I signaled for Meizuki to speak. She stood with a sharp, regal posture.
”Regarding my own origin… for public appearances, should I keep it hidden?” Meizuki asked, warawa.
”The fact that the Calamity Dragon is your progenitor? There’s no need to hide it, especially since she is enshrined as a Great Spirit³,” I explained. “As the Ryuuin family, we are a priestly lineage. Carrying the blood of a god is a mark of prestige.”
The “Evil Dragon” stigma was largely resolved by Yaten ascending to the Divine Seat. While the elite families know the truth, the general public has no way of identifying her. To the world, we are simply a high-ranking family of priests serving a powerful dragon deity.
”Next, Gingetsu,” I said.
”Okay! So, we’re technically a ‘forbidden bloodline’ because of the whole family-on-family thing, right?” Gingetsu asked with a grin. “But in the exorcist world, everyone is obsessed with ‘bloodline purification’⁴, so I figure they won’t care. Should I just avoid the topic with normal people?”
”We’ve accounted for the biological issues, but regular society won’t understand,” I replied. “You can discuss it within the exorcist circles, but keep the details to yourself when you’re on the surface.”
”Got it! I think I’ll stick to the exorcist world then. Since everyone is so into ‘purification’ there, I can brag about carrying your children without people losing their minds! I bet the other girls in those families have some juicy stories to swap!”
”I’m glad you’re looking to socialize, Gingetsu… but let’s keep those specific stories inside the family,” I muttered.
Dragon-blooded children usually draw a hard line between family and the “others,” but Gingetsu seemed eager to dive into the world, even if her motivations were questionable. She took after her mother – loud, bright, and utterly blunt. It was a mess, but seeing her look toward the horizon was a relief.
”Alright, Akika, your turn.”
”Yes, Lord Father. First, regarding the hierarchy of human government…”
The lecture continued, pushing them to look beyond the walls of the temple. It was a struggle to answer the questions their dangerous beauty and curiosity produced, but I gave them everything. One day, they will be adults, and they will need every scrap of this knowledge to navigate the world they are destined to inherit.

Summary:
The protagonist conducts a classroom-style lecture for his four young half-dragon daughters to prepare them for human society. He grapples with the terrifying reality of their evolutionary superiority and the world-ending potential of their bloodline. Despite the dark implications, the chapter focuses on the domestic growth and curiosity of the children.
—
Trivia:
- The children are only six months old despite their advanced intelligence and appearance.
- The term ‘Bloodline Purification’ in this context refers to religious/magical inbreeding practiced by prestigious exorcist families.
- Yaten, the original Evil Dragon, has officially ascended to a ‘Divine Seat’, rebranding her as a deity rather than a monster.
- The protagonist is the only thing preventing these children from instinctively taking over the world due to their soul-bound devotion
—
Character Insight:
The protagonist shifts from a purely protective role to an educational one, feeling the weight of ‘Fatherhood’ as a responsibility to prevent his children from becoming tyrants. Gingetsu shows signs of wanting to leave the temple’s isolation, albeit for ‘lewd’ reasons.
—
Behind the Scenes:
The author leans heavily into the ‘Master Race’ trope to justify the protagonist’s harem-building as a world-saving necessity rather than just desire.

TL Notes:
