Eight days since departing Draguoth, the capital of Wrathfiria¹, we have finally returned to Foxia. Luckily it is clear skies, around the time the sun reaches the middle of the sky. It is moderately warm.
”So this is Foxia… there are so many tall buildings… it is amazing!”
Annamaria, visiting Foxia for the first time, seems unable to hide her excitement looking at the townscape. Her eyes are sparkling. She is surprisingly full of curiosity. Well, it is a familiar sight to us – especially to me and Mihiro who have seen similar sights since before the summoning.
”You will be living here from now on. It might be a bit of a noisy place, but I hope you get used to it over time. I would be happy if you could come to like it.”
”That is right. First I will learn what kind of town it is, and then I hope… I can come to like it.”
”Well, there are bad guys, but there are plenty of good people too. I will introduce you eventually.”

Some of them are around the same age as Annamaria, and for my part, I definitely want them to become friends. Anyway, first is the report. We made our way to the Monster Hunter Guild.

I think it is awfully serious for just an unannounced absence, but it is strange that it is almost all of the Guild Receptionists. I understand why the air in the Guild is bad. With no female presence, they are bound to be frustrated. There are even those looking at Lil and the others with faces like they have found an oasis while wandering the desert. Just how starved are they. I am sure they have at least some morals, but it is not impossible that there are wicked bastards who might try to make a move. It is obvious those guys would be counter-attacked, but it is stupid to cause unnecessary injuries. Let us all head to the office of Clovis, the Guild Master.
I knock on the office door.
”It is Sieben.”
”Is it you… it is fine, come in.”
A strangely tired voice replied from the other side of the door. Opening the door and entering, there was Clovis, looking exhausted just like his voice. Is it my imagination or has the paperwork increased?
”Hey Sieben, sorry about this.”
”No, I had things to report as well, so the timing was good.”
For now, I tell him what happened in Wrathfiria. I had reported most of it via Morse code, but it was abbreviated. As expected, I can convey things in more detail verbally.

I mercilessly kick away the man trying to r**ape her. Enraged, I decapitated him without even a moment to ask his identity. The other men, caught off guard, were flustered and tried to fight back but were pinned down by Lil and Mihiro. Actually, the man Lil pinned down has his neck bent in a strange direction. He looks dead no matter how you see it.
”Reese, are you okay!”
”Ah, Natsu…”
Reese calls me by the name she used to call me. She was going through a terrible ordeal, it is only natural she would call me by my nickname from before the summoning in her agitation.
”What on earth is the meaning of this? Who the hell are these guys?”
”I do not know. But Su – Sugita told them to violate me. So I was running away, but they caught up…”
As I thought, it is Sugita. Then these guys are just scum Sugita invited in for his own enjoyment? Come to think of it, Clovis said three men. Then that means Hagimoto and Hidaka are here too. The women are – who?

Sieben and Annamaria return to Foxia only to find the Monster Hunter Guild in a state of gloom. They discover that a Hero named Sugita has seized Sieben’s mansion and kidnapped his residents. Upon investigating his home, Sieben finds his friends being abused and discovers that his strongest ally, Sebastian, has been killed.

• Minette – Director of Sorcery Academy Greedia. Early sixties with chestnut hair mixed with white. Gentle aura and impeccable posture. Jessica’s grandmother.
• Honoka – A member of the relief team with healing magic. Despite her cute, short, ‘transistor glamour’ appearance, she is cold-hearted and mocks Sasaki, now a bound slave to him.
• Reese – Jessica’s sister, currently asleep. Identified as a ‘beautiful blonde lady’ by Alice.
• Sugita – Sugita Kazu. The leader of the Sugita gang and the primary bully of Natsumi Sasaki. His grandfather is the Superintendent General and his father is a Police Superintendent, so the two of them covered up all his crimes. Because of this, he does whatever he wants wherever he goes. He has a lean build, sharp features, and a calculating gaze. Possesses the ‘Steal’ (窃盗) skill and uses it to brainwash women.
• Hagimoto – One of the members of the Sugita gang who actively bullied Natsumi. At first glance, he looks like a cool, smart guy with glasses, but he is actually vulgar and has a foul mouth.
• Hidaka – Height 182 cm, weight 79 kg (Male). A muscular member of the Sugita gang and the Kendo club. While better than the other two, he still used Natsumi as a punching bag and joined in the sexual assault of Lieselotte Himesaki.
• Marl – Lil’s younger sister figure or companion who enjoys watching the couple from a distance. Not the real one.
• Lotte – A maid in her late 20s who is a high-level combatant (Level 50+).
• Mei – One of the Kijima twin sisters. She uses a longbow that creates arrows of light. She is part of Chihiro’s party in the Envyos Labyrinth.
• Rei – One of the Kijima twin sisters. The eldest one. She uses a spear and acts as the frontline defense for her sister. She demonstrates ‘perfect sync’ with Mei.
