Chapter 198 End of the 1st Lap
Edited by: Kanaa-senpai
…… Tester Life: Day 71, Noon. 13th Floor, Day 3. 5th Village. Sanada Yakumo (Yakumo Sanada in Western order) ……
After finishing our r**ape play, I and Sanae knocked the mud off ourselves in front of the entrance before heading back into the Magic Tent¹. Karen and the others, who had already finished their baths and were relaxing, looked shocked to see the two of them walking in stark naked and covered in mud. The surprise lasted only a second before they broke into wry smiles. They were likely thinking, “They’re at it again.”
Sanae and I were too cold to care about the looks; we rushed into the bathroom together, scrubbed down, and soaked in the hot water. Sanae told me that if we were going to do that again, she should pick a floor where it wasn’t raining. I took the feedback to heart and reflected on my choices.
Certainly, I had been warm while chasing her and thrusting my hips because of the adrenaline, but I hadn’t given a single thought to the aftermath of the creampie. I spent a few seconds reflecting while holding Sanae in the water, but then my “little guy” perked up again. I sat on the edge of the tub and told her to give me a b**job.
Sanae took my meat stick into her mouth while still soaking in the tub. As she massaged my balls, she occasionally looked up at me, her eyes narrowing with pleasure.
”You’ve gotten good at this, Sanae,” I said.
”Mmm… I’ve been practicing… nn, nn,” Sanae muffled.
I patted her head and praised her; she’d improved leaps and bounds since the beginning. She gave a happy, muffled reply and then started bobbing her head up and down vigorously. I had clearly lit a fire under her. To keep pace with her enthusiasm, I switched into “quick-shot mode.” When I hit my limit, I grabbed her head, shoved it to the back of her throat, and e**culated.
Sanae was a pro; she didn’t gag once as she swallowed the waves of s**men I pumped into her. Finally, she kissed the tip of my meat stick, making a slurping sound as she sucked out the last bits. She pulled away and gave a shy smile.
”That was delicious,” Sanae said.
After I stroked her head, we got out of the bath and had lunch in the living room. After letting our food settle, we headed back out for the afternoon’s exploration. The monster count had increased on the road past the fifth village. We faced five Orcs and five Green Wolves. The Rain Hawks stayed at one, which was a relief. Even if there were more, they weren’t much of a threat on the open road since Karen could handle them.
We managed to reach the sixth village by sunset and immediately jumped into the village battle. Sanae was still struggling with the Rain Hawks, but she managed to take them down with Leticia’s help. She seemed frustrated that she couldn’t shoot both down herself, but Sanae was a hard worker. I knew she’d be sniping them in no time. I had total faith in her.
Once the monsters were cleared, it was Treasure Chest Time. I was thinking it was about time for an Introductory Permit² to drop as I walked into the large house with Leticia. Inside was a Copper Treasure Chest. Leticia opened the chest with her “Desire Sensor”³ at full blast.

Inside were Black Iron Greatshields and a silver Introductory Permit fragment. Even though the magic rod she was gunning for wasn’t there, she was still thrilled, calling it another “big win.”
The Black Iron Greatshields were the same model I had bought for Rock ages ago. I decided to give Rock’s old ones to Hanako and let Rock have the new set. His shields had taken quite a beating since we arrived on the 13th floor. We called it a day after that and set up camp near the village.
The next morning, I woke up to b**jobs from Sayaka and Sheena. After heading to the bathroom to wash off the sweat and fluids from the night before, I went to the living room. While waiting for breakfast, I booted up my portable Magic Crystal to approve new party requests. Today it looked like the Baseball Club and the Kendo Club. Apparently, someone in the Kendo Club had bought a slave. There were some Soul-less Doll⁴ owners listed for the Kendo Club, but Akatsu, their captain, wasn’t among them.
Come to think of it, wasn’t Akatsu’s girlfriend a girl from the Kendo Club too? I got curious and checked the slave catalog; she was listed as 2nd Class. Slender build, modest chest, but her face was incredibly cute. She was also 170cm tall—nearly ten centimeters taller than Akatsu.
”But she’s a virgin, huh…” I muttered. “That’s why she’s so expensive. If he’d just made a move, she might have dropped to 3rd Class. He’s got a long road ahead of him, but good luck to the guy.”
I was about to close the Magic Crystal screen when a voice called out from behind me.
”Darling, I’ve been feeling great since this morning. My body feels so light,” Karen said.
”Me too. I think I’ve Ranked Up⁵,” Leticia added.
I turned around to see Karen and Leticia standing there. I pulled up the Slave Management Screen to verify. Sure enough, Leticia had reached E+, and Karen was now D+.
”We did it! I finally caught up to Sayaka!” Leticia cheered.
”Ooh, I knew it! Now I can use even more magic!” Karen said.
The two of them held hands and cheered, staring at their stats on the spatial display. Karen was on par with Sayaka now. It had taken me a while to get from D+ to C, so Sayaka likely had more grinding to do. But her abilities would spike when she hit it, so I was looking forward to her Rank Up. Since Leticia was our healer and rearguard protector, I’d been letting her land the finishing blows. Taking down higher-ranked Orcs had accelerated her progress.
Sanae had only just hit D, so she stayed put. Magic guns often drop Orcs in a single shot, so her rank-up was naturally faster than someone with a bow. I decided to prioritize Hanako and Sanae for the final hits next time. I told them they did a great job and gave them some well-deserved praise before we all sat down for breakfast.
Once we suited up, we left the Magic Tent early and got back to exploring. Day 4 was more of the same—getting soaked while trudging along the road. We cleared the seventh village at noon and wiped out the eighth before the sun went down. During the eighth village battle, Leticia’s light shield only had to activate once. Sanae shot down every single Rain Hawk with her bow.
”All that practice against the ones on the road really paid off,” I told her.
When I praised her, she looked shy but clearly happy. Beside her, Leticia puffed out her chest with a smug face.
”I’m the one who raised Sanae!” Leticia declared.
Every village had a treasure chest. It seemed they were a guaranteed spawn on this floor. Honestly, if they weren’t, I wouldn’t be able to stand this place. But the contents were as expected: no Introductory Permits. Just Medals of Return, Potions, and silver coins. I soothed a dejected Leticia as we left the village. We deployed the Magic Tent for camp and ended the day’s work.
On the fifth morning, I woke up to a double titjob from Leticia and Karen. After coming in Leticia’s mouth, Karen gave me a clean-up b**job, and I headed to the shower. Once I was out of the bath, I fired up the Magic Crystal to approve the latest party requests. A transmission came in from Sayama-Coach.
”Morning, Coach,” I said.
”Good morning, Guildmaster. I’m calling in today’s report,” Sayama-Coach replied.
”Appreciate it, as always,” I said.
Coach gave me the rundown. The Karate Club and part of the Baseball Club had finally reached the 8th Floor. They were making steady progress. As for Yuki and the vanguard, they were about to hit the 9th Floor. The number of D-Ranks was climbing, and they were prepping for the Area Guardian fight. Still no sign of Kurokawa and the other fugitives. The White Knights were leading another search party, though testers had to juggle it with their own survival.
”They’ve got people guarding the teleportation rooms 24/7,” Sayama-Coach noted. “It’s a huge burden.”
I wonder how long they can keep that up. You’d think the remnants of Eikou—who likely know where the Guardian rooms are—and the Shuhari group would have shown up on the 6th Floor by now. But there had been no word from the Gozaru-crew Leader about them. I wondered if the deal to merge with Shuhari was stuck in limbo now that Mimura was dead. People had been leaving since he died, so they should have merged fast. Maybe the terms changed and they were bickering.
After the briefing, I had breakfast, geared up, and left the Magic Tent early. We crushed the ninth village. When Leticia opened the chest, there was a black, horned Viking-style helm. Since it had holes in the top, it was meant for a monster companion. Leticia looked disappointed, but she picked up the helm and asked if she could give it to Hanako. I nodded, and she dashed out with a smirk.
She’s definitely doing that just to mess with her, I thought with a wry smile. I checked the rest of the chest, but as expected, there was no Introductory Permit. Maybe the chest spawn rate was 100%, but the fragment drop rate was only 20%. If that was the case, I’d need five laps to get ten fragments.
Feeling utterly fed up, I left the house. Just as I thought, Hanako was putting up a fight. She clearly didn’t want the Viking helm, even if it had better defense. Leticia tried to force it onto her head, but Hanako kept shaking her head in refusal. However, as soon as Sheena drew her rapier, Hanako froze. With a sour expression, she let Leticia strap the Viking helm on her.
Two black horns stuck out of the sides, and pink pig ears poked out from the top. Honestly, it looked terrible. Leticia smiled and told her she’d get hurt less, but Hanako’s injuries were usually to her butt, so I didn’t think it would help. Sheena told her it suited her, but she was clearly holding back laughter. Hanako was grimacing. She probably wasn’t upset about the design, but the fact that her defense had actually increased. Rock looked relieved; he probably thought that if he wore a manly helm like that, Sayaka would stop petting him.
After upgrading Hanako’s gear, we had lunch and hit the road toward the tenth village—the final one of the lap. We reached it before dark and annihilated the Orcs. I confirmed there was a gate at the far end. The end of the first lap.
We found a treasure chest in the large house. When Leticia opened it, there was a set of Gray Wolf armor. She pulled the pieces out excitedly, saying they were spares for Sheena, and hurried out. She just wanted to see the look on Sheena’s face. I watched her go, then checked the chest. No Introductory Permit. Two fragments in five days.
”I’m going to take a long break after this,” I muttered. “Everyone’s exhausted; they need at least two days to refresh. Honestly, I’m the one who needs it most.”
Re-running these floors really grinds your soul down. I was brooding as I walked outside, but then I saw Sheena smiling and petting Leticia’s head. The kid looked happy. Karen, Sayaka, and Sanae were all watching them with smiles. I told Sheena I was glad she liked the gear, then led everyone to the village exit.
We headed down the narrow path leading to the teleportation circle. We all stared at the number ‘2’ displayed on the black gate with complicated expressions. I returned Hanako and Lucy to their Magic Sealing Crystals⁶, then we stepped onto the circle and warped to the 6th Floor. Once there, I gave Saizou his orders.
”Saizou, track down the hidden testers. If you find them, don’t engage. Just come back and report,” I said.
”Understood,” Saizou replied.
Saizou vanished into the depths of the 6th Floor without a sound. He should be back with a location by tonight. After seeing him off, we activated the teleportation circle again and headed for the 1st Floor. But as soon as we stepped into the teleportation room, we were met by nearly twenty testers with their hands on their weapons.
”-?! S-sorry!” one tester yelled.
”It’s the Guard! Everyone, stand down!” another shouted.
”Don’t you dare draw your weapons! You want to get killed?!” a third warned.
The testers scrambled to get out of the way once they realized who it was. They looked like members of the White Knights and the Shuhari group. I saw two parties from the Baseball Club led by Wakamiya stand up from the corner when they saw me. The other testers were watching the guys who’d surrounded us with exasperated looks.
”Heh. You guys are certainly on edge,” I said.
I’d heard they were camping the teleportation rooms 24/7 waiting for Kurokawa, so I just gave a wry smile.
”Sorry for the scare, Captain. There was a murder while you were away,” a tester explained. “We’ve been waiting for those bastards to come back for supplies.”
”Yeah, I heard. Hell of a mess,” I replied.
I thought to myself that they’d brought it on themselves, but I kept my mouth shut. Some of these guys had lost friends. It wasn’t my problem, and I gained nothing from provoking angry people.
”Honda, Ogawa… they’re all gone. I even got slashed across the gut…” a tester lamented.
”Those Kurokawa bastards… I’ll never forgive them,” another growled.
”Captain! If you see them, please let us know! We’re going to go settle the score ourselves!”
”Right. I’ll keep an eye out,” I said.
I gave them a non-committal answer as I stepped off the circle. With Rock in the lead, I walked right through the crowd toward the exit. I caught Wakamiya’s eye and gave a small nod; they sat back down.
Man. Kurokawa and his goons really have nowhere left to run, I thought. Well then. Maybe I should throw them a lifeline before they go full bandit⁷.

—
Character Insight:
Sanada shows signs of ‘grind fatigue,’ prioritizing efficiency and mental breaks over pure progression. Leticia shows her competitive side by celebrating catching up to Sayaka’s rank.
