We were in the middle of a clinical trial for the “Night Light Wand¹,” a new product destined for the Wielope Empire. Satsuki the Court Mage² let out a ragged, heavy breath. With a wet, sliding sound, she withdrew the device from her heat.
A glistening ribbon of moisture trailed after it, bridging the gap before dripping down to stain the sheets. Looking as though she had reached her absolute limit, she leaned forward and rested her hands on my shoulders. She looked at me with a knowing, mischievous smirk.
”So,” Satsuki said, “what’s the real reason you invited me over today?”
”Hm? Like I said, the wand’s development. And I had a favor to ask about you looking after Nina…”
”Liar ♡”
She whispered the word directly into my ear. I tilted my head, wondering if she’d always been this bold. For the record, I wasn’t lying. My goals today really were the development of the Night Light Wand and securing her help with my apprentice, Mailse Nina, around the time my next children are born. However…
”You were just looking for the next woman to carry your seed, weren’t you… ♡”
”That’s a hell of a way to put it,” I replied.
”Hehe, but am I wrong? Come on, let me have my little jabs… ♡”
Satsuki peppered my ears and neck with soft, wet kisses. Even in a world where polygamy is the norm, I’m well aware of how hedonistic my lifestyle looks. I was prepared to take her teasing in stride, but I had to know.
”It’s not just about what I want,” I said. “I’ve been wondering what you want, Satsuki.”
”Oh? You want me to say it out loud? ♡”
”Are we really going to keep doing this?”
”Sorry, sorry. Hehe. Well, let’s see… Amelia seems to have made up her mind. I suppose joining her wouldn’t be so bad…”

But just as she said, Sister Amelia-who had also been hesitant-had a change of heart. I wanted to know where Satsuki stood. I’d hoped the topic would come up naturally during the “experiment,” but she had seen right through me.
”For now… can I just put it in… ♡? ” Satsuki asked.
”Yeah. Of course.”
”Nfufu… ♡♡♡ Mwah… ♡♡♡ Nn, ahh… ♡♡♡♡♡”
She gave me a tender smile, kissed me deeply, and slowly lowered her hips onto me. The Night Light Wand was still rolling on the bed, its glow creating a halo of backlight that obscured her face. But her skin was scorching, and as she took me in, her heat was so intense it felt like her very soul was manifesting.
”Hey…” Satsuki whispered.
”Yeah?”
”We’ve spent so much time apart, so I don’t know if it’s getting through… but I love you quite a lot, you know? “
”I know…”
She pulled me into a tight embrace. Satsuki was the only one who had fought by my side through both the war with the northern Coalmine and the recent Stampede. As a court mage, she belongs to the crown-that’s just the job-but the danger is never really over. Thinking about that made me want to hold her even tighter. I squeezed back, confirming she was really here.
”Nn… ♡ I think… I’m ready to say it. I love you… ♡”
”It gets through, Satsuki. I didn’t give you that ring just for show.”
”Yeah, I know… So… if that’s how it is… um…”
She seemed to be struggling, her body writhing in a mix of hesitation and need. She began to bounce her hips, seeking the depth of me, perhaps trying to drown her nerves in the sheer euphoria of the act. Her nectar flowed down to the base of my shaft. I felt her peaks rubbing against my chest with every movement. Unable to hold back, I nipped at her collarbone, drawing a sharp, hot gasp.

In the end, she couldn’t quite lose herself to the pleasure enough to stop overthinking. Even in the dark, I could tell her face was bright red. It was so typical of her-clumsy, cute, and utterly precious.

Satsuki kept trying to pull me closer, grinding her hips and pressing her body against mine. Her hands were tangled in my hair. I gladly obliged, wrapping my arms around her with everything I had.
”But we should wait until everyone else’s babies are born, right?” she asked.
”I mean, that would be easier, but would it really hurt to move the schedule up a little?”
”You’re right. Lady Lily did say she was ready for a second one soon anyway…”
”Exactly. It might be a bit early to start for real today… but we can definitely get some practice in.”
”Practice, huh… Practice…”
Her temperature was spiking, a fine sheen of sweat breaking out over her skin. She was becoming so hot I felt like I was going to melt into her.
”Haa, haa… ♡♡♡”
She began to move with a slow, deliberate grind, sinking her weight onto me. She didn’t want a single gap between us.
”A… a baby… ♡♡♡ Right here… a little baby… ♡♡♡”
”We’ll have to do plenty of ‘practice’ to make sure the bed is nice and warm for them, right?”
”You’re so lewd ♡♡♡”
”You only just realized?”
”I’ve known forever! ♡♡♡♡♡ Nn, ah, ah… ♡♡♡♡♡! “
Her movements were slow, but relentless. Up, down, press, grind-she was working me over with an intensity that left no room for anything but her.

”I love you, Satsuki,” I said.

She let out a high, melting cry. As her strength faded and she slumped against me, I took over, thrusting deep for the final “practice” session.
”I’m close…”
”Yeah… I can feel you twitching inside me… ♡♡♡♡ Let it all out, okay ♡♡♡♡? “
”You don’t even have to ask.”
”Nn ♡♡♡♡! Ah ♡♡♡♡! Ah ♡♡♡♡! “

I bottomed out against her core, my seed flooding her. I’d been so caught up in her heat that I released far more than I expected; white-hot stars danced before my eyes. I squeezed her tight, and I felt her arms, legs, and her very depths clamping down on me in return.
By the time we remembered to breathe, we were both soaked in sweat. I buried my face in her neck, inhaling her scent. That was when…

”Ahaha, I used to think so too,” Satsuki replied, breathless. “But it’s not a bad swamp to be in. Though, if you’re going to run, now’s your only chance. If you’re going to sink… just let it happen ♡”
I wanted to defend my honor against that “swamp” comment, but Nina crept closer. Satsuki immediately launched into a bizarre lecture titled “How to Sink Properly in the Swamp.” At that point, there was nothing left for me to say.
