Chapter 62 Did My PR Campaign Finally Pay Off?
Edited by: Kanaa-senpai
I carried the fox-girl, Sheila-chan¹, back to the breakroom. I sat down on the bed, keeping her gathered up in my arms.
”You okay?” I asked.
She nodded fervently, but she couldn’t seem to find her voice.
She looks like she’s composed enough to stand on her own now… so what now? Well, she was sitting right on top of my c**k anyway. I decided to try channeling some Mana into her, aiming right for the point where we were connected.
As soon as the Mana began to flow, her breathing turned ragged.
”What’s the matter? Does it hurt?” I asked, playing the innocent.
Sheila gave a small, shaky nod.
”In that case, want to lie down?” I asked.
She shook her head.
”Hmm. Should we just talk for a bit then?”
”T-that… that would be fine…” Sheila replied.
Despite getting her okay, I didn’t really know what to talk about. A heavy silence settled between us. She was clearly in heat and past the point of casual conversation anyway. I decided to just say the first thing that came to mind.
”You have an amazing tail, Sheila. Can I touch it?”
”Hah… amazing…? In what way…?” Sheila asked.
”I mean, it’s so incredibly fluffy and beautiful, right?”
I wasn’t just being nice; her tail was gorgeous. The fur was long and had a magnificent, healthy sheen to it.
”――っ!?”
Suddenly, her tail puffed out to twice its size.
Oh? What kind of reaction is that? Her face was beet-red. I wondered if she’d gotten self-conscious about me praising her tail.
”It’s nothing! Stop asking me about every little thing!” Sheila snapped.
Oho. Someone’s getting feisty.
Time to punish the bad girl. I funneled Mana into my c**k again, pressing it firmly against Sheila’s p**sy.
I wasn’t doing anything technical. I was just pressing my-not even erect-member against the cleft of her buttocks. Normally, she shouldn’t have felt a thing, but Magical Thrust² was in a league of its own. Sheila-chan already looked like she was on the verge of total surrender.
”Haa… haa… This is your fault, you know…”
Sheila tried to grab me and pin me down, but she was so weak she ended up just clinging to me. Since she was hugging me anyway, I wrapped my arms around her in return.
”W-why… Just… just do what I say…” Sheila muttered.
Even as she said that, she seemed unable to restrain herself. She stayed slumped against me, desperately grinding her hips to try and stimulate her p**sy.
”I’m happy to, as long as you’re willing to listen to me, too,” I said.
”D-don’t mess with me… Why should I have to listen to a Human…?”
Oh? She was acting so submissive a minute ago. Maybe it was because I started off playing the Prince Charming role?
”Sheila… are you really going to defy me? ♡”
When I whispered that into her ear, she let out an “Aahn! ♡” and arched her back, her hips trembling violently.
”Showing me such a lewd side… You’re practically begging for it, aren’t you?”
”Hyaaaan! ♡ D-don’t get full of yourself! Like I’d ever… beg for that!”
”I see… My mistake. I didn’t realize you hated it so much…”
I laid her down on the bed and stood up.
”Sorry about that. It seems I misread the situation, so I’ll give you some space. If you’re still feeling unwell, please get some rest.”
I gave her the most gentlemanly response possible to ensure this wouldn’t come back to bite me later. Sheila reached a hand out toward me with a stunned “Eh…” as if to tell me to wait, but I pretended not to notice and headed back to the party.
When I returned to the royal seating area, Yui tilted her head. “Oh, that was fast.”
”Yeah. We talked a bit, but I just left her to rest on the bed,” I said.
”Wait… you didn’t use Magical Thrust?” Yui asked.
”Hmm… She rejected me. I don’t think it was very effective on her anyway.”
”Huh!? Rejected!? No way! Meina is a Fox-kin too, and she said she thought she was gonna die from it!?”
”Maybe so, but if she said no, then that’s that, right?”
”Ah, well, I guess. If you avoided a fight, then we can just ignore her now,” Yui replied.
My talk with my wife was settled, but Sylpha and the Queens were staring at us, completely floored.
”Um… what exactly is this ‘Magical Thrust’?” Sylpha’s older sister asked tentatively.
”Hmm. Want me to give you a quick demo?”
Without waiting, I picked up Sylpha’s sister from her chair, sat her on my lap, and pressed my Mana-charged c**k against the cleft of her ass.
”Yaaaah!? N-no… stop… wa-wait…!”
The moment her face went completely slack and vacant, I set her back in her chair. “Get the idea?”
”B-idiot…!” She looked up at me with teary eyes. The older sister type was pretty cute, too.
”My bad. I won’t do it again.”
She looked so desperate that I offered a quick apology, only for her to look at me with a pained “Eh…” expression. I couldn’t do anything more here, so I had to ignore her.
”Why’d you have to demonstrate… you moron…” she muttered.
”Yeah, sorry. I just figured it would be awkward to try and explain it out loud in a place like this.”
”Doing it is even worse!” she snapped, glaring at me with those watery eyes.
”Hey, I’m in the dark here too… Is it that intense?” Sylpha asked.
Her family, including the Queen, turned a series of very intense, curious gazes toward the older sister.
”…I’ll just say this: it’s too dangerous,” the sister muttered, her face still crimson as she glared at me again.
”Ah, right. Apparently, it’s incredibly potent for the Fairy Race since they have such a high affinity for Mana. That’s why I try not to use it on Fairy Race girls in a ‘live’ setting.”
I was about to go into more detail when Yui cut me off. “Ibuki-kun³, we’re eating. Actually, it’s a bit late for that, but still…”
I took the hint and shut up.
The evening party ended without Sheila-chan ever showing her face again. Yui and I were shown to a guest room. Isaac apparently had his own place in the city and headed there.
That night, Yui and I talked strategy. Essentially, we had two choices: s*xually train them into a forced friendship, or suppress them through military might. This was assuming diplomatic friendship failed, which seemed likely for the Fox-kin and Dragonewts, and potentially difficult for the other races too.
”Go for it! Just give ’em the old ‘bang-bang’ and teach them who’s boss!” Yui said.
”Wait, you’re okay with that? I figured avoiding a fight would be easier, but…”
”Look, I get it. A real war leaves scars that never heal. Besides, after seeing everyone try to jump you, I’ve just kind of gotten used to it. At this point, I’m just like-everyone should just bow down to my husband’s s*x appeal.”
Yui gave me a wicked little grin. I tried to pull her close, but she pushed me back.
”Not today. I can’t handle you alone… and who knows who’s listening in this place.”
”Yeah… fair point,” I replied.
I could have held back, but it’s hard to stay focused like that. It actually takes more effort to not use Mana than to use it. I decided to call it a night and we just drifted off in each other’s arms.
”Hehe, this is nice too,” Yui said.
She seemed to enjoy the rare chance for us to just be alone without the “extracurriculars,” and I fell asleep feeling pretty good.
* * *
The next day, we proceeded with the plan to build a farm. I was led to a district where they had been trying to grow crops. A whole procession of elderly leaders from various races followed us, led by the Queen.
”Will this area suffice?” the Queen asked.
”Yeah. It looks like you guys have it rough, so I’ll give you a little bonus.”
I pulled out a shovel and created a field four times the size of my previous ones, complete with a full set of crops that were already nearing harvest.
”――っ!?”
The Queen and her entourage froze.
”What in the world is the meaning of this…!?” An elderly Dog-kin woman rushed into the field, scooping up the soil.
”Is this… not a one-time miracle?” asked a woman who barely came up to my waist.
Likely a Small-kin. She was perfectly proportioned despite her size, making her look like a living, breathing scale model. It was a trippy sensation; she was standing right there, but she felt miles away. I wondered if Nyan-chan’s Grandmother was skipping out today.
”As long as you’ve got water and fertilizer, it should be fine. Though the soil will probably wear out if you don’t rotate the crops,” I said.
I shared what little basic farming knowledge I had. They began peppering me with detailed questions. As Yui and I stood in the center of the circle, the suspicion that had been in their eyes yesterday all but vanished. To top it off, I summoned ten tons of wheat.
”I’d like you to use this to help the people in the outer districts. Is that okay?”
”Help them… how?” the Dog-kin woman asked.
”I mean, I want them to have enough to eat. It hurts to see them like that, human or not. If the food comes from you, there shouldn’t be any issues with them accepting it, right?”
”What’s the price?” a sturdy-looking woman from a round-eared race asked.
”There is no price. This is just me being selfish. I don’t want to see people starving. I’m not interested in taking payment from people who are just trying to survive,” I said.
She blinked in surprise. “…So, there are Human-kin like you too.”
”Honestly, once you strip away the prejudice, neither side is all that different. There are plenty of good people on the human side. Just think of the other side as being under the Dragonewts’ thumb for now.”
”I see…” she replied.
”I’m already working on a way to keep the Humans from attacking. If it works, you won’t have to worry about them anymore.”
”Is s-such a thing even possible!?” the Queen’s composure finally broke.
”It’s not a guarantee… but the Hero carries a lot of weight over there. I plan to use that leverage to give the Human leadership a piece of my mind. I’ll tell them: ‘You’re the ones causing all this chaos, so why did you drag us into this world?’ If they keep it up, I’ll tell them we’re officially through with playing along with their ‘divine’ nonsense.”
”Us…?” the Queen asked.
”I’m technically part of the Hero’s party, even if I’m just a Production Class. You’ve heard that Yui is a Sage and that the actual Hero is over here too, right?”
”I see… I had heard the summoned Heroes possessed irregular powers… but to think it was to this extent…” the Queen said.
They looked over the field again, stunned. Yui laughed.
”Ahaha, Ibuki-kun is the only one who’s this irregular…”
”Hey now. You could easily blow this whole field to kingdom come if you got serious, Yui.”
”Wait, what!? Don’t say such scary things! I wouldn’t do that even if I could!” Yui shouted.
I got a few playful smacks for that one. While I was messing around with Yui, Sylpha spoke up.
”See? I told you Ibuki and the others are pacifists. They truly believe we’d all be happier if we just worked together.”
Sylpha crossed her arms, giving the Queen a bit of a glare.
”Yes… I understand now. I was only hesitant because of my responsibilities as Queen. To be honest, I’d almost rather he just take over the whole region,” the Queen said.
”Wh-Your Majesty!? That’s going too far!!” the Dog-kin elder shouted.
”Think about it. You’ve seen his character. He’s pushed back the front lines and rescued the girls from Dole. There’s zero chance he’s working for the other side. You know Dole is their leader, right? In this situation, siding with someone this powerful and virtuous is the only logical survival strategy. If you still disagree, then our paths have diverged. We’ll have to part ways.”
Her cold, decisive gaze silenced the room.
”Look, I’m not demanding anything. Let’s just see where things go. If we can just agree not to attack each other, I don’t mind setting up enough farms to keep everyone fed,” I said.
”Right, Yui?”
”Yeah. We just want to live here in peace and get along with everyone,” Yui replied.
”In that case… we require a little more time. We still do not know you well enough,” the Dog-kin woman said, bowing her head.
The others seemed to agree. I decided that was a good enough stopping point and made my excuses to head back to my own territory. We met up with Isaac, who had been recruiting Wing-kin in the town, and took the express route back via air travel.
”Welcome ba~ck!” Charlotte and the others greeted us. We sat down in the dining hall and shared the news. The Wing-kin girls started cheering immediately. It seemed they’d been terrified of a potential conflict. As we went over the details, the story about Sheila got everyone worked up.
”What!? Lady Sheila did what…? She acted like that toward a Human like Ibuki-sama…?” Meina asked.
Meina was surprisingly pissed. Sheila was apparently the top of the Fox-kin, essentially Meina’s King.
”And she was the one who called anyone who went to Ibuki-sama’s farm a shameless traitor…”
Ah, so that was it. I remembered her saying that now-that they couldn’t help with my farm because it was forbidden.
”It’s okay, Meina. Ibuki-kun just left her hanging without even using Magical Thrust to help her out,” Yui said.
I mean, I did use it… but sure, let’s go with that.
”…Serves her right. If she ever shows up here begging for Ibuki-sama’s c**k, I’ll be sure to tell her: ‘You’re just a shameless traitor, aren’t you?’” Meina muttered.
Meina’s face was scrunched up, looking like she was stuck between crying and screaming.
”Anyway, Isaac, did you manage to get everyone from the town?” I asked, trying to change the subject while I pulled a half-sobbing Meina onto my lap to comfort her.
Isaac shook his head. “No… those who were forced into contracts couldn’t leave…”
Right. The slave-style contracts.
”Was it the Dragonewts again?”
”Yes. I told them we were planning to oppose them so it was fine, but they said they’d already adjusted to their lives and didn’t want to cause trouble until the lines were officially drawn,” Isaac replied.
I asked about the Dragonewts’ status, but there hadn’t been any movement yet. Keira and Saria were handling long-range aerial recon. According to Isaac, they’d definitely be coming. He’d been gathering intel; apparently, the reason no Dragonewts were at the party was that they’d received word about the group I’d trashed earlier. They’d flown back to their territory in a rage to gear up for war.
”Well, as long as we’re all here, it’s not a problem. Just keep up the scouting, okay?”
I gave Keira and Saria their orders and finished my report.

Summary:
Ibuki uses his ‘Magical Thrust’ skill to subtly influence Sheila and Sylpha’s sister, establishing dominance without overt combat. He then showcases his production abilities to the Queen and other tribal leaders by creating massive, high-yield farms and donating wheat. This successful ‘PR campaign’ leads the Queen to consider siding with Ibuki over her current alliances.
—
Trivia:
- Ibuki is technically part of the ‘Hero’ party despite his non-combat class.
- The ‘Magical Thrust’ skill is particularly effective against Fairy Race members due to their mana affinity.
- Dole is identified as the leader/leader-faction of the human side.
- Dragonewts are gearing up for war after their representatives were defeated by Ibuki earlier.
- Some Wing-kin are bound by contracts in the town and cannot leave easily
—
Character Insight:
Ibuki is shifting from a passive participant to a political strategist, using his unique skills to solve food shortages and build loyalty. Yui is becoming more accepting of Ibuki’s harem/s*xual influence as a tool for peace.
—
Behind the Scenes:
The chapter highlights the ‘production class’ power fantasy, where utility skills are more valuable than raw combat power in state-building.

Black‑haired, germaphobic, and low‑key bitter but sharp as hell. Uses Synthesis, Processing, and Inventory skills to survive, craft gear, and haul loot while exploring. Currently a Level 10 otherworlder, wielding a stone axe, traveling the frontier forest with Charlotte, and just trying to stay alive long enough to find a bit of peace.
• Isaac – The chief of the Wing-kin tribe. He has a tragic countenance due to the loss of his people while searching for food. The male clan chief of the Wing-kin. He holds Ibuki in high regard for restoring their land.
• Nyan – A Dwarf girl, daughter of Doran. 20 years old but looks like a child. Dark-skinned, cat-like vibe. From the mountains.

• Charlotte – Short, skinny late‑teen slave girl with messy brown hair, feline eyes, and a soft, slender body. Was an Ex‑Level 8 farmer, now Level 10 and bound to Ibuki, who she calls “Master” and calls herself his wife. Wears rags at first, then pretty clothes he makes, plus his bat‑wing hairband. Blushy, clingy, protective, and easily emotional, she follows him on runs, fights, and flights while always worrying if she’s useful enough.
