Seven-Sins-Avenger 272

Chapter 272 Goddess Aurelia ⑳

Edited by: Kanaa-senpai

The following morning. The Plaudix camp was a scene of unmitigated slaughter.

In the dead of night, a sudden wave of fratricide had ripped through their ranks.

The catalyst: the captured women of the Black Knights¹.

Every man who had laid a hand on them — who had raped them — had turned his blade against his own comrades.

And the corruption didn’t stop there. After the traitors finished with the Black Knights, they moved on to the Priestesses of the Hero Church.

By dawn, every single priestess had vanished, save for those attending to the newcomer, Lightning, who served the Hero.

With no corpses left behind, it was clear they had deserted under the cover of the chaos.

Their destination was no mystery; they were undoubtedly heading for the Greedia camp led by Natsumi.

There were also those who hadn’t lived long enough to betray anyone.

A few soldiers were found charred beyond recognition, still locked in a final, agonizing embrace.

Their skin was a mass of melted ruin, making identification impossible, but the ‘things’ clinging to them were unmistakable.

From their stature and the strange, tail-like appendages protruding from their lower backs, it was clear: they were the winged soldiers.

”Good grief. They really went all out, didn’t they?”

Nagase Emi pressed her palms to her forehead, surveying the wreckage of her army.

In a single day — just one day — she had lost over a third of her forces.

To make matters worse, the casualties were top-heavy.

The men found burned to death by those winged creatures were mostly the ones meant to hold the lines together: the Centurions and Chiliarchs.

On paper, she still had the numerical advantage. But with the chain of command shattered, her army was nothing more than a leaderless rabble.

 Morale had flatlined.

(Well, it’s not as if the loss of a few miscellaneous pawns changes much.

This is what happens when men let their base desires override their utility.

If anything, a dramatic, last-minute reversal will make for a much more entertaining story.)

She mused to herself. What could these ‘mobs’ achieve by overstepping?

Originally, the Heroes were the main force while the rabble were meat shields, but because Maugo insisted, “Let my Knights take the lead,” unnecessary sacrifices were made.

To begin with, she had three Heroes — the strongest pawns — on her side.

Among them, Jinno Yuto possessed extraordinary skills. Most importantly, that boy was head-over-heels for Nagase Emi.

He was the ultimate loyal weapon.

He wasn’t the only one infatuated with her.

Mayuzumi Yoshino had also become a complete prisoner to Nagase Emi’s body.

Uriel and Gabriel. As long as she had those two, staging a comeback wouldn’t be difficult.

The problem was Seijuro Kakei. He hadn’t quite yielded to Nagase Emi.

He seemed obsessed with Lightning, and since Lightning was now completely submissive to Nagase Emi’s whims, there was little risk of betrayal.

(Come to think of it, that Lightning has become quite the dog for Seijuro Kakei…)

She frequently spotted Lightning on all fours, wearing a collar and being pulled by a leash. Naked, of course.

Since the girl herself seemed to be enjoying it, Emi didn’t care.

”Well, they can do as they please.

The King isn’t stupid enough to try anything reckless now.

Now then, my lovely Heroes, go and run wild to your heart’s content.”

Nagase Emi didn’t spare a glance for the corpses as she made her way toward the Heroes.

We brought the remains of the girls back to our lines and laid them out in silent rows.

 Their cause of death: self-detonation.

Though they had sustained lethal injuries from the enemy, not one of them had allowed herself to be finished off.

Before the end, every single girl had triggered a final explosion to take her killer with her.

The proof was written in their bodies; their unique, tail-like abdomens had been torn apart from the inside out.

I stood over them, literally extending my shadow toward the corpses.

With the activation of Predation², the darkness swallowed them whole, integrating them into my being.

”These girls are fortunate,” Kuroa said flatly. “Even in death, they become part of the Master — his blood, his flesh, and his power. The only pity is that they did not yet possess a sense of self.”

 She looked almost proud.

I knew she was right, but I felt guilt for robbing them of their future.

These girls were currently like loyal, soulless dolls, but eventually, they would have developed egos.

I wondered how they would have lived in that future.

”So, Messenger, I take it that is Plaudix’s final answer?”

”Y-Yes… We, Plaudix… no! The Heroes will not accept surrender. Instead, they intend to annihilate you…”

Earlier that morning, I sent a messenger to Plaudix to offer terms, but what returned was the messenger’s head.

The eyes of the Kin³ — including Kuroa — were glowing red beneath their helmets.

My terms were fair: hand over the remaining Heroes, and I would accept surrender without reparations.

Plaudix kicked away a miracle offer.

”I see. Then we don’t need to hold back anymore?”

The messenger stammered. He knew his mortality was on the line.

But I won’t be a barbarian. “Relax. I won’t kill a messenger. You’ve had a hard time, having such an unwanted role forced upon you. We have prepared a welcome. Take your time and relax. Mitsuba!”

”What is it, what is it, darlin’?”

”Entertain this messenger. Don’t kill him. And also…” I whispered so he couldn’t hear. “Pick someone appropriate and get him addicted to pleasure. Use your bodies to teach him that Greedia is a paradise.”

”Giggle. Okay! Well then, Mr. Messenger, this way please.”

With a lovely smile, Mitsuba led him away. Now, I would crush them.

At noon, we found the Knights in the rear, sending three familiar faces to the front.

One led a woman on all fours.

”Hm? Is that not Lightning noja?”

 ”Lightning?”

”One of my Six Demon Generals — Lightning the Thunder General. To think she was suffering such humiliation noja.”

(Humiliation? She looks like she’s having the time of her life.)

”Listen up, you despicable coward!” Jinno shouted. “I’m calling you out to single combat! You’re just a weakling who lets his subordinates blow themselves up while you hide! I bet you’re too scared to face us!”

”Ho? My Lord is a ‘cowardly weakling’? I must have misheard you noja,” Kuroa remarked.

”That’s not true! Goshujin-sama saved Samidare-san when she was being bullied! He’s no coward!” Honoka stepped forward, flushing with rage.

”Narumi Honoka… another former classmate fallen to evil. I’ll judge you too.”

”Just try it, you useless Class Rep!”

”Honoka, step back. Thanks for getting angry for me.”

I patted her head. Instantly, her face melted into adoration.

 ”Hafuu… Goshujin-samaaa…”

”Jinno, I accept. But be ready to die.”

”Goshujin-sama, can I kill him? Please?” Honoka asked, the light gone from her eyes.

”No. Jinno is mine. Honoka, you deal with Mayuzumi.”

”Then I shall take the man who treats the Thunder General like a cur noja,” Medinilla added.

”And I shall deal with Lightning-sama,” Tsunami offered. “Master, please let me retrain her.”

”Do it. The final battle begins.”

 Summary:

After the Plaudix camp falls into chaos due to internal betrayal and suicide attacks, Nagase Emi prepares her remaining Heroes for a counter-offensive. Natsumi rejects the enemy’s refusal to surrender and absorbs his fallen soldiers to increase his power. The chapter concludes with the two forces meeting on the battlefield, setting the stage for one-on-one duels between former classmates.

 —

 Trivia:

 - The ‘winged soldiers’ are actually Natsumi’s Kin who use their abdomens as bombs.

 - The betrayal in the Plaudix camp was triggered by men who raped the captured Black Knights.

 - Lightning was originally a ‘Demon General’ under Medinilla before being captured/broken.

 - Honoka’s rage stems from her past witness of Natsumi’s self-sacrifice during their school days

 —

 Character Insight:

Natsumi shows a darker, more pragmatic side by ordering the messenger to be ‘addicted to pleasure’ as a form of psychological warfare, while Nagase Emi reveals her total lack of empathy for anyone below ‘Hero’ status.

 —

 Behind the Scenes:

The author uses the ‘Three Kingdoms’ reference to highlight the gravity of killing a messenger in diplomatic terms.

 TL Notes:

1 Black Knights: The elite female warriors serving under Natsumi.

2 Predation: Natsumi’s primary ‘cheat’ skill allowing him to absorb biological matter and skills from the deceased.

3 Kin: Subordinate beings created or converted by Kuroa and Natsumi, sharing a hive-like loyalty.

Notes:

• Lightning – Thunder Demon General, a Mazoku former Hero Church Priestess, sports thick blonde hair in a ponytail, purple eyes, and silver armor that highlights her form. Conditioned by Nagase‑sensei and later “inherited” by Kakei Seijuro, she now serves as his loyal pet, wearing a tail‑plug accessory.

• Natsumi – Standing 168‑171 cm, 57‑59 kg, he has a baby‑faced look hidden by bangs. Once bullied for a feminine name and nearly killed by the Sugita gang, he was resurrected with white wings and an unknown power, surpassing the Demon King. Now the Master of Greedia, dark‑haired and able to “Predate” the dead, he leads ant‑soldiers and priestesses, builds a harem through biological and magical dominance, and rules as a silent, manipulative tyrant‑savior transcending godhood.

• Nagase – Nagase Emi. A 23-year-old teacher. Height 159 cm, B-W-H: 85-56-83. She looks younger than her real age. She is popular with students because she acts nice, but she is actually a trash teacher who was the first to bully Natsumi Sasaki.

• Emi – Nagase Emi, 23, 159 cm, youthful look, 85‑56‑83, former teacher of the protagonists, once admired for kindness but secretly bullied Natsumi Sasaki. Now a cautious Plaudix strategist, she feigns loyalty to King Maugo while safeguarding other Heroes, leading beside the Knight Commander. Manipulative, sociopathic, cold toward soldiers.

• Maugo – The stout, middle‑aged King of Plaudix wears a white beard and an overweight, gluttonous frame. Arrogant and irritable, he treats his daughter Mariana and female soldiers as tools, views them as social inferiors, and ignores Greedia’s threat, his foul temper flaring at any noise.

• Jinno – Jinno Yuto, once a polished class president with short black hair, crisp uniform and sharp eyes, now a Hero leading the military campaign against Sasaki. He is self‑intoxicated by his sense of justice, self‑righteous and aggressive, wielding high‑tier magic such as Judgment and Sentence. He silently ignored Natsumi’s bullying, resents her, and harbors romantic feelings for Nagase.

• Yuto – The class president. He acts like he has a strong sense of justice, but in reality, he just ignored the bullying of Natsumi Sasaki. He has a tall, athletic build and a serious expression.

• Mayuzumi Yoshino – A female student from Earth who formerly attended Manabu High; she has modest breasts and a sensitive body and was previously under the influence of Sugita’s skill. She was sleeping with Aurelia, appearing naked and exhausted from their prior intimacy.

• Yoshino – A female student from Earth who formerly attended Manabu High; she has modest breasts and a sensitive body and was previously under the influence of Sugita’s skill. She was sleeping with Aurelia, appearing naked and exhausted from their prior intimacy.

• Seijuro – A male student from the original world summoned as a Hero. He possesses the skill Infinite Ammunition . He has a cynical, detached personality and views social relationships through the lens of hierarchy, specifically comparing them to the relationship between a master and a dog.

• Kakei – Height 173 cm, weight 59 kg. Thin with ‘seaweed hair.’ He has a selfish and elusive personality. He doesn’t care about class drama. He knows a lot about guns.

• The King – The protagonist and ruler of the Insect-people. He manages the reproduction and military strength of his hive. He prioritizes Queen Lil above others but maintains a harem of Kin for reproduction.

• Kuroa – Anthropomorphic queen ant of the Killer Army Ants, now human, wears sleek black organic armor hugging her petite, feminine form, crowned with an ant-head helmet, glossy black hair, green compound eyes, and two ocelli on her forehead; she bears a segmented ant-like abdomen tail. Stoic and chivalrous, she sees herself as a knightly beauty, hides her dignity beneath viscid slime, and controls men through pheromones. She is the loyal ‘mother’ to the winged soldiers/Kin, treating them as her brood, with eyes that glow red when agitated—eternally devoted to Natsumi.

• Mitsuba – 142 cm honey‑bee Mushi‑jin with honey‑blonde curly shoulder‑length hair, deep‑blue compound eyes, two antennae, four translucent wings, yellow‑black striped abdomen, tanuki face and large drooping eyes; busty child‑bearing figure now leads Greedia’s aerial unit in yellow‑black armor, clingy Kin of the King, softer than Kuroa, more persistent than Suzu. Former Killer Army ant turned human, physically affectionate and seeking sexual rewards from Natsumi. Also a Greedia‑affiliated curly‑haired girl who oversees flesh‑doll creation, explains imprinting, is a seductive subordinate of Natsumi tasked with hospitality.

• Honoka – Petite, cute “transistor‑glamour” maid with hidden wings, lewd eyes that clash with Lotte and Nadja’s pristine uniforms. Once a cold‑hearted slave who mocked Sasaki Natsumi, she was revived, now obsessive “Goshujin‑sama” driven by his scent and a wish to bear his child. Former class representative and Natsumi’s classmate, fiercely protective, harboring deep romantic feelings. Masochistic, trembling devotion, she sleeps yet lingers as a holy‑lust shrine, feeling left out of the group’s rewards.

• Narumi Honoka – A high‑ranking healer who was once frozen and shattered while shielding Sasaki Natsumi, only to mysteriously revive. She appears as a petite, cute “transistor‑glamour” girl wielding high‑level healing magic, built like a tiny bomb of lewdness with huge breasts. Originally a cold‑hearted slave who mocked Sasaki, she later transformed into a devoted “Goshujin‑sama” maid, obsessively drawn to his scent and desperate to bear his child. Once the obsession of Hidaka, she was later violated by Sugita, leaving her furious and fiercely protective of the protagonist. She often greets with bashful smiles, but the slightest touch triggers a nuclear reaction. Typically dressed in a sleazy maid outfit, her anti‑aesthetic contrasts sharply with the clean uniforms of Lotte and Nadja.

• Narumi – Narumi Honoka. A member of the relief team with healing magic. Despite her cute, short, ‘transistor glamour’ appearance, she is cold-hearted and mocks Sasaki. Black hair, black eyes.

• Medinilla – Petite, loli‑like demon king with pale blue skin, long silver hair, goat‑like horns and golden eyes rimmed in black, wearing a twilight dress strewn with red roses. Appears as a flat‑chested girl, claims to be Sieben’s wife out of servitude, and competitively serves Natsumi, a child‑like associate. Former leader of the Six Demon Generals, she holds a high‑ranking Mazoku role with an ancient, authoritative tone and regal air.

• Tsunami – Blue‑skinned, goat‑horned demon with black sclera, purple irises, waist‑length black hair and high‑heeled maid garb (large chest) masquerades as human to spy on parliament. She is the Water General, Demon King’s direct maid and reincarnated hero Souichiro Tsunami, founder of Greedia. Attendant to Medinilla, the strongest of the Six Generals, noted for being capable and observant.
