Aurelia, who had usurped Lil’s body, wore a look of pure, unadulterated shock. I slowly withdrew from her-Lil’s shell, but Aurelia’s soul. My seed overflowed from her as if I’d just climaxed, and her bloated stomach began to recede to its natural state.
”As I thought, Lil is in a class of her own. Even if her insides have been replaced by a rotten goddess,” I said.
”Ah… hng… gh… How… how are you…?” Aurelia asked.
”How? It’s a Skill you handed out to my classmates yourself, isn’t it? Did you lose track?” I replied.
”…Ah.”
It seemed she realized the truth instantly. This was ‘Ultimate Body Partition’¹, the Transcendental evolution of Maya’s ‘Parting Body’ which I had Predated. While the original version halved the user’s stats, ‘Ultimate Body Partition’ allowed me to set the split body’s parameters at will without draining my own power. I had sent my clone ahead as a vanguard while I, the original, followed in the shadows using Stealth. I’d done it as a bit of insurance, never knowing what might happen.
I certainly hadn’t expected her to resurrect Sugita, though.
”Kh… I understand the trick, but then what about Sugita… Kazuo-san?” Aurelia asked.
(Would you quit with the Lil imitation already? Your cover’s blown. Well, whatever.) As for Sugita… I gave her a thumbs-up and gestured toward the corner. There, a massive creature of pure darkness-all mouth, resembling some nightmare version of a Fuku-low-nagi if compared to an animal-was currently gnawing on Sugita’s skull. The beast was a manifestation of ‘Gluttony Darkness’ and possessed zero ego. It was the same thing that had previously devoured the body of Aurelia… or rather, Nagase Emi.
Sugita’s body dangled limply, his arms and legs swaying in the air. He was definitely dead. Yet, in a grotesque display of lingering survival instinct, his c**k continued to rhythmically squirt-squirt e**culation. It was truly pathetic. A sound-somewhere between a bone-snapping crack and a wet squelch-echoed as Sugita’s body from the neck down slumped to the floor. The shadow beast continued its feast, crunching through bone and gristle alike.
Technically, this counted as ‘Predation’, but what would I even gain from Sugita’s stats? I already had everything he did; at this point, it was just a drop in the bucket anyway. Once the beast finished its meal, it simply melted back into my shadow.
”So, what’s the plan? You going to reconstruct someone else? The result won’t change,” I said.
”Kh…”
Aurelia glared at me from the floor. But the defiance lasted only seconds.
”Haa… I suppose I’ll concede this round as my loss,” Aurelia said.
”Admitting defeat so easily? That’s a surprise,” I remarked.
”Yes, well, no matter how I calculate it, this is checkmate. But I said ‘this round’. I’ll take this experience, learn from it, and win next time while having even more fun. Now, good day to you. Gatekeeper, return me,” Aurelia commanded.
Nothing happened.
”Gatekeeper? What is the meaning of this? Obey me! Gatekeeper! Return me at once!” Aurelia shouted.
”Heh… hehehe…”
”Gatekeeper! …What is so funny?” Aurelia asked.
”Aurelia, there is no ‘next time’ for you,” I said.
”What are you talking about?! Next time, I will definitely-wait. You said ‘no next time’. What does that mean?” Aurelia asked.
”It means you’re never leaving this world for the Administrator’s Realm again. Because…”
”The management authority of the Gatekeeper has been transferred from Administrator Aurelia to Provisional Administrator Sasaki Natsumi. Administrator Aurelia, you have no right to command me.”
A screen flickered into existence in mid-air along with the voice. It displayed a beautiful girl with silver hair and eyes, sporting mechanical wings and a futuristic, skin-tight bodysuit that left nothing to the imagination.
”W-Why… you were my creation! How could you?!” Aurelia cried.
”I am unable to provide an answer to that query,” the Gatekeeper replied.
Unlike the frantic Aurelia, the Gatekeeper remained perfectly robotic. For the record, the authority transfer happened when Honoka and I returned to Maginoia. Since she tried to shut us out, I had to make her body understand who was in charge.
While I was at it, I used ‘Usurpation’ to snatch Aurelia’s control over her. I’d ordered the Gatekeeper to play along for a while so the shift wouldn’t be noticed, but now that the charade is over, she only listens to me. Well, as a result, Aurelia can no longer leave this world.
”…So I’m to be stuck in this body for the rest of my life? Fine. This body is magnificent. But to live as this man’s mate? That is the one thing I will never accept,” Aurelia stated.
”Trust me, even if that body belongs to Lil, I’ve got no interest in a rotten goddess like you,” I said.
”Oh? Then our interests are aligned. Shall we settle for a divorce?” Aurelia teased.
”No. And besides… we’re not done yet,” I said.
”Eh?”
My split body, which had been lying still, stood up. Its wounds had completely closed, leaving only the shredded remnants of its armor and clothes as proof of the fight. The clone stripped off those rags, standing stark naked. It had been watching the main body’s actions from a front-row seat; it was only natural that it was standing at full attention.
”Now it’s the split body’s-my-turn,” I said.
”And I think the main body-me-will take the ‘mouth’ option,” I added.
”Eh, ah… wait… not like this… I’ll break… I’ll become yours… anything but that! NOOOOOOOOOOOO!” Aurelia screamed.
We continued to violate Lil (Aurelia) by turns.

”Ahfuue… aah… hahee…”
Aurelia lay sprawled in a pool of white filth. She was wearing a pathetic, vacant ahegao-a face the real Lil would never make. If it were actually Lil, this would have been overkill, but with Aurelia inside, I had no complaints. In fact, if I didn’t break her this thoroughly, the final step would be a pain in the ass.
First, I need to use ‘Usurpation’ to strip the rest of her Administrator privileges.
”Right, I’ll take it from here,” my split body said.
With that, my split body vanished, dissolving back into my own form.
”Aurelia, like I said: no matter how perfect the body is, if the soul is yours, I can’t live with it and I certainly can’t love it. So, I’m taking that body back. Rise, ‘Hell Gate’!”
A massive, ornate, yet terrifying gate ground its way up through the floor. The doors were decorated with the grim warning: ‘Abandon all hope, ye who enter here.’
”This world didn’t have a Hell, so I took the liberty of building one. Heaven, too,” I said.
(I feel like I’ve mentioned this before, but this world lacks an afterlife. Die, and your body hits the dirt while your soul dissolves back into Mana. But the souls of ‘Illegal Transferees’ are an exception; they linger here, unable to return to the cycle. Even worse, their descendants suffer the same fate, wandering as ghosts forever. It’s a real mess.)
So, I created a solution. Heaven and Hell. Using the Skill ‘Otherworld Creation’-from the Pride category, a power finally unlocked once I hit Transcendental rank. It’s a Skill that constructs a parallel world linked to this one, much like how the Spirit Realm was formed.
”Now, after everything we just did, there should be a nice, wide crack between the body and the soul,” I said.
”Wh… ha… what do you… plan… to do…?” Aurelia managed to ask.
”Isn’t it obvious? I’m sending you to Hell,” I said.
”…?! Wait! Stop! I am the Administrator! I am the Goddess Aurelia! This is sacrilege! It won’t be permitted!” Aurelia shouted.
She finally snapped back to full consciousness, but it was far too late.
”Open, ‘Hell Gate’!”
The massive doors groaned open. Beyond lay a swirling vortex of absolute darkness. You could feel it-once you stepped through, the world of the living was gone forever. There was a tugging sensation, as if my own soul were being pulled, but since I was alive, it couldn’t take me. But her?
”Ugh, aaaaaaaaaaaah! It’s pulling me! No! I don’t want to go to Hell! Please!” Aurelia screamed.
A white, doll-like mist began to bleed out of Lil’s body. Aurelia was being a sore loser, clinging to the flesh with everything she had. Looking closely, the mist seemed to have two heads.
”Close it! Now! Or I’ll drag your precious woman’s soul down with me!” Aurelia threatened.
She tried to latch onto the other soul inside Lil to use as an anchor. That soul was also desperately clinging to the body, resisting the pull.
”‘Nagase Emi, let go of that body,’” I commanded.
The moment I spoke, Nagase Emi’s soul released its hold on Lil’s flesh. And then—
”Sasaki-kun?! You promised! You promised you’d save my body! NOOOOOOOOOOOO!” Nagase Emi screamed.
”AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! NO! STOP IT!” Aurelia shrieked.
The two pathetic souls were sucked into the abyss, and the ‘Hell Gate’ slammed shut with a definitive bang.
(Nagase, I don’t remember ever making a promise like that.)
The thing inside Lil hadn’t been Lil at all, but Nagase Emi. The day before we set out for the war, I had given Lil a very specific order:
’Lil, for a little while, I want your soul to leave your body and stay inside me.’
I had swapped Nagase Emi into Lil’s body and forced her to play the role. My coldness toward “Lil” and the sudden drop in her combat effectiveness? All because the pilot was a fake. I’d prepared for a possession scenario, though I hadn’t expected the Goddess to literally hijack her. But now, it’s all over. My Vengeance is complete, and I’ve fulfilled my deal with that God (the Old Man).
I used ‘Clean’ to wash the seed from Lil’s body. I gathered her into my arms, kissed her deeply, and breathed her soul back into her lungs. It felt a bit like a prince waking up Snow White.
”Nn… nnh… Dear…?” Lil murmured.
”Morning, Lil. It’s over. All of it,” I said.
”Yes… I know. I was watching… from inside you,” Lil replied.
Lil smiled, and I leaned in to kiss her again.

A teacher who appears nice and is popular with students but is actually a trash teacher who first bullied Natsuki Sasaki. Also a Hero whose skills were used to buff the Plaudix army, defeated before the scene begins.
• Emi – Nagase Emi, 23, 159 cm, youthful look, 85‑56‑83, former teacher of the protagonists, once admired for kindness but secretly bullied Natsumi Sasaki.
