It had been two weeks since the little blond punk gave him that warning.
Over those fourteen days, the trio led by Hamazaki Reina had tried to corner Aki more times than he could count. Fearing for his life, Aki threw all basic manners out the window. If those three got within three meters of him, he’d bolt like his life depended on it-because it did. When he couldn’t outrun them, he just ditched class or called in sick.
Actually, Aki had thought about becoming a total shut-in, never stepping foot outside his front door again. Compared to the miserable fate of a “Victim Template¹” victim, spending his life as a hermit didn’t seem so bad. But aside from being a massive pain for the Takamine family who had taken him in, it wouldn’t have done a damn thing.
Thanks to Aki’s relentless dodging, things had been relatively quiet. The blond punk had actually kept his word and hadn’t come back to start more trouble.
One evening, Aki was walking home alone, muttering to himself under his breath. “No drama today. I guess I finally cleared this hurdle…”
The “Victim Template” wasn’t active every waking second. Much like an anime plot, there was always a bit of breathing room after a major event. If it weren’t for those lulls, Aki wouldn’t have survived this long. Unfortunately, he wasn’t strong enough to break the curse for good; even just staying out of its reach was exhausting.
But his luck ran out. Only a week later, Aki faced a total crisis.
Since the soft approach hadn’t worked, the girls decided to play hardball. Hamazaki Reina and her two friends found their opening and boxed him in. Seeing no way out, Aki could only raise his hands with a strained, bitter smile.
”Hamazaki, what do you girls even see in me? Just tell me and I’ll change it, okay?”

Hamazaki Reina stepped forward, a faint green light shimmering in her emerald eyes. “Yukina, Ruri… I’m right. He’s the one. He can help us.”
”Clock’s ticking. We can’t let him slip away this time.”
”Are we really doing this here?”
The three looked around the school grounds. Doing it at school was definitely risky, but Aki wasn’t cooperating, and they had no way to move him.
”How about going to the Little Forest²?”
”It’s summer. I am not becoming a buffet for mosquitoes.”

The three huddled for a moment before turning their hungry gazes back toward Aki. Hamazaki Reina looked at him with pure irritation. “Uesugi, are you a man or not? You promised last time, then you flaked out and started ghosting us.”
Aki didn’t flinch. (If my life weren’t on the line, I’d let her find out exactly what kind of ‘man’ I am.)
Sasaki Yukina leaned in close to his ear, her voice a mix of a whine and a sultry whisper. “Uesugi, let me tell you a secret… It’s the first time for all three of us. If you do it with us, you’re basically winning the lottery.”
Aki’s heart skipped a beat. His blood started pumping south, and “Little Aki” began to stir restlessly. But he grit his teeth and held it together.
The three girls traded looks, their minds made up.
”It’s not like you’re actually uninterested in us. So why the cold shoulder?”
”When you skipped school last time, was someone threatening you?”
”Is there some drama we don’t know about? We can fix it for you.”
They weren’t idiots; they could tell Aki was hiding something. Aki shook his head helplessly. “No, really, there’s nothing. Just… please, just leave me alone.”
He couldn’t exactly explain the “Victim Template.” Even if he ratted out the blond punk, he didn’t have the balls to actually fight the guy. It was better to keep his mouth shut than to dig his own grave even deeper.
Since talking wasn’t getting them anywhere, the trio finally snapped.
”Fine. We didn’t want to have to do this, but since you’re being so stubborn, you left us no choice.”
Before Aki could even process what was happening, Sasaki Yukina lunged at him. A sharp pain exploded at the base of his skull, and his world went black.
Kurumizaka Ruri caught Aki’s limp body before he hit the ground, looking worried. “Yukina, tell me you didn’t hit him too hard.”
”Relax, I just used a normal person’s strength.”
Ruri stared at the massive goose egg forming on the back of Aki’s head and bit her lip. (Whatever, he’s still breathing. He’ll live.)
The three of them hauled the unconscious Aki off-campus, whispering as they went.
”Love hotel or…?”
”I don’t really want my first time to be at some hourly joint. Besides, we don’t know how long this will take.”
”Good point…” Ruri tapped her chin. “Let’s go to my place. I’ve got the house to myself for the next few days.”
”Perfect.” x2

Kurumizaka Residence. Bedroom.
”Reina, is he tied up tight?”
”Yeah. Should we drug him?”
”Probably don’t need to. Look at him, he’s already ‘ready’.”
”Wow… Uesugi looks so scrawny, but he’s actually packing quite a bit down there, isn’t he?”
”Ruri, stop thirsting and wake him up.”
”Huh? You’re the one who knocked him out! How am I supposed to wake him?”
”Doesn’t matter. He’s hard anyway, so he’s usable.”
”Wait, can guys stay hard even when they’re out cold?”
”Who cares? Who’s going first?”
Aki’s eyelids twitched. He couldn’t play dead anymore. He had actually woken up the moment they stripped his clothes off. He had planned to fake it to see if he could escape, but unfortunately, Little Aki hadn’t gotten the memo. With just a few licks, he was already standing at attention.
If he didn’t say something now, he was going to be railroaded right into the “Victim” ending. This was his last stand.
”Wait a second!”

Aki’s face twisted as a wave of overwhelming, electric pleasure fried his brain. The die was cast. He closed his eyes, ready to let fate take him.
But then, a strange, mechanical sound rang out in his head.
