Vital-Master v1c17

Volume 1 Chapter 17

Edited by: Kanaa-senpai

It had already been a month since Mana got the green light to enter Phase One dungeons.

Even now, Mana and I stayed close outside of the dungeon. I’d regularly help her with her conquests by using my Tenketsu¹ on her.

Lately, she’d been returning the favor afterward, making me feel incredible with her hands. In that sense, I think it’s safe to say our relationship has been moving in the right direction.

On the other hand, I didn’t see Mana at the Phase Zero practical training grounds anymore. She and the other students who’d been cleared for Phase One had immediately started diving into the Phase One dungeon near the academy.

The only ones left behind here in Phase Zero were the students who still couldn’t prove they had the strength to tackle Phase One. Unfortunately, that included me.

”Physical Augmentation through (Tenketsu) alone wasn’t enough for me to qualify for Phase One, huh…”

The only reason Mana was recognized as Phase One level with just my buffs was because her natural combat instincts were already so high. That’s really all there is to it.

In my case—lacking any special talent for battle—even buffing myself with (Tenketsu) wasn’t enough to prove I had what it takes for the next level.

If I kept grinding in Phase Zero, my Dungeon Infiltration rank would slowly crawl up. There was a chance that if I just kept at it, I’d eventually get the qualification.

But that would take way too long.

Once you enter a Phase One dungeon, your Dungeon Infiltration rank—or to put it in RPG terms, your Level—rises much faster.

Even as I sat here, the gap between me and the Phase One group was widening every second. Before I lost any hope of catching up to Mana, I wanted to earn my way into Phase One too.

”And the only way to do that is through (Tenketsu) after all.”

For a [Common Job] like a close-combat class, grinding through harsh training in Phase Zero to forge your own strength meant everything.

But for my Unique Job, [Vital Point Practitioner], it didn’t seem to work that way. No matter how much I trained in Phase Zero, I didn’t feel like I was getting any stronger.

But I had my Job Skill, (Tenketsu).

”I totally thought it was a skill where I just hit the pressure points on the waist to trigger Physical Augmentation… but I was wrong.”

The way I realized that was a complete accident.

I’m sorry for the gross story, but one day the washlet in my dorm room was broken, so for the first time in a long while, I had to use actual toilet paper.

Of course, that had to be the day I had a particularly stubborn dump that was hard to wipe away. I was forced to get in there and really scrub and grind at my hole to get clean.

As I was sitting there, swapping out toilet paper and intensely grinding away at the spot, it happened. My Dungeon Energy suddenly drained right out of me.

”I didn’t know what was happening at first,” I said to myself. “But it turned out there was a Pressure Point for (Tenketsu) right there at the anus too.”

As it turns out, the Pressure Points I can use (Tenketsu) on aren’t just on the waist. Apparently, they’re hidden all over the body.

To be precise, I’ve only found two, so maybe it’s just those two. But I’m betting there are various Pressure Points hidden across the entire body.

”Since the (Tenketsu) at the anus Pressure Point was a defensive ability, I should be able to withstand a Phase One level attack from that instructor now.”

Finding the point was a huge win, but right now, I had two problems. First: whether or not I should tell Mana about this.

”It would definitely be a huge help for her Phase One conquests, so I think I should tell her, but it’s the method that’s the problem.”

If I were to perform (Tenketsu) on that spot for Mana, it meant I’d have to touch her anus.

Now, just touching it might be one thing, but that wouldn’t be enough to trigger the (Tenketsu).

Unlike the Physical Augmentation (Tenketsu) where I just have to press the waist point firmly, this anus Pressure Point requires persistent, grinding stimulation of the inner wall with a fingertip.

I’ve practiced on myself and I’ve mostly got the hang of it.

Unless I’m really getting in there and grinding away until my finger is practically buried in the hole, the (Tenketsu) won’t activate.

”There’s no way I can tell Mana about this Pressure Point. I wish I could find one that was a little easier to work with.”

That was my second problem—or rather, my current task: finding a third Pressure Point.

It sounds easy, but it’s actually really tough.

Just like how the location and the touch for Physical Augmentation and Defense are different, it’s not enough to just find the right spot. You have to discover the right way to press it too.

Lately, whether I’m at training or just out and about, I’ve been spending almost all my time looking for a third (Tenketsu) point. I still haven’t found one.

As I was lost in thought, desperately searching for a new point, a shadow suddenly fell across me. I looked up to see who it was.

”Hey~, Kanade-tchi~. Minami has a little favor to ask Kanade-tchi, is that okay~?”

Standing there was a girl with a face as cute as an idol’s and a characteristically flat physique.

 Summary:

Kanade reflects on his stagnation in the Phase Zero dungeon while his friend Mana has advanced to Phase One. Despite his frustration, he maintains an intimate relationship with Mana, who provides him with s*xual favors in exchange for his skill buffs. A breakthrough occurs when Kanade accidentally discovers a new Pressure Point in his anus that provides defensive capabilities. However, he finds the mechanical requirements to activate this point too embarrassing to share with Mana. Determined to find more viable points, he continues his search both in and out of the dungeon. His introspection is interrupted by the arrival of Matsuyama Minami, a prominent ‘Loli Princess’ figure in his class.

 —

 Trivia:

 - The contrast between Mana’s natural talent and Kanade’s reliance on his Unique Job suggests he must find non-traditional ways to bridge the power gap.

 - The accidental discovery of a defensive skill via an ‘unfiltered’ bodily function foreshadows that the protagonist’s growth will likely involve increasingly taboo or unconventional methods.

 - Minami’s sudden appearance suggests Kanade’s skill search is about to be complicated by a new interpersonal dynamic

 —

 Character Insight:

Kanade and Mana have transitioned into a ‘friends with benefits’ dynamic where skill-buffing acts as the catalyst for s*xual intimacy. Kanade’s hesitation to share his new discovery reveals a remaining sense of shame or a desire to maintain a specific image before her.

 —

 Lore And Worldbuilding Context:

Dungeon progression is tied to ‘Dungeon Infiltration rank,’ which functions similarly to RPG levels. Unique Jobs like [Vital Point Practitioner] do not benefit from standard physical training as much as Common Jobs do, requiring the discovery of specific skill triggers instead.

 TL Notes:

The term ‘Tenketsu’ is used to maintain the flavor of eastern pressure point techniques, while ‘Four Heavenly Kings’ (Shitennō) is a standard trope used to denote the elite status of school beauties.

 Glossary:

¹ Tenketsu (点穴): The act of striking or applying pressure to specific vital points on the body to manipulate the flow of energy or cause physiological effects.

Notes:

• Mana – Class President, a serious, refined beauty with long black ponytail, glasses, and a neat, lovely appearance, wields the [Sage] job with mature observance and elite close-quarters combat skill. Though once dating soccer ace Kosaka—now depressed and feeling worthless—she’s deeply supportive of Kanade as his strategic confidante and partner, displaying bold, inquisitive curiosity during intimate moments, including requesting a (Tenketsu) treatment while wearing indoor sweatpants and pure white underwear. Her disciplined, almost clinical demeanor masks a sadistic competitive edge, honed through martial arts, yet her loyalty and emotional depth reveal a complex soul beneath the polished exterior.

• Kanade – Small-statured dungeon academy student and protagonist with the Unique Job [Vital Point Practitioner] (Tenketsu), specializing in pressure-point manipulation for defense and physical augmentation. Analytical and observant, he studies dungeon mechanics and combat styles while struggling with self-doubt over his failure to reach Phase One. Deeply infatuated with Mana, he navigates an intimate, erotic relationship with her—easily flustered by her boldness, yet fiercely protective of her trust—despite his virginity and a mysterious cheat skill that eliminates his refractory period. He feels competitive with Kosaka, cynically dismisses government-mandated classes, and quietly admires the Class President, though he questions his leadership. His embarrassing yet effective new application of Tenketsu has begun to shift his standing—both in battle and in Mana’s eyes.

• Minami – Minami, also called the ‘Loli Princess,’ is one of the Four Heavenly Kings. She has a petite, doll‑like, childlike face and a flat physique. As a Light Warrior with elite dual‑wielding skills, she serves as a Dungeon Explorer despite an extreme phobia of pain, determined to stay in the role. She is an idol‑like figure within the group.

• Rin – Voluptuous‑figured teacher in a crisp white lab coat, high Dungeon Infiltration Degree, serves as academy staff in the Appraisal Room and mentors students. She was the first to feel Kanade’s skill’s effects.

• Matsuyama Minami – Minami, also called the ‘Loli Princess,’ is one of the Four Heavenly Kings. She has a petite, doll‑like, childlike face and a flat physique. As a Light Warrior with elite dual‑wielding skills, she serves as a Dungeon Explorer despite an extreme phobia of pain, determined to stay in the role. She is an idol‑like figure within the group.
