Aki rubbed his eyes. “Morning, Tsubaki-senpai.”
The stunning Vice President stood barefoot on the floor, looking back at him.
”Sorry, did I wake you? It’s early. Sleep a bit longer.”
School started late in Japan, but Tsubaki was a creature of habit due to her Student Council duties. Most students didn’t need to be in until 8:30.
”Tsubaki-senpai, since it’s early, why don’t we have one more session?”

”Aki, breakfast is on the table. Eat it when you get up,” she called, knocking on the bedroom door.
”Thanks, Tsubaki-senpai.”
”I’m leaving now.”

Tsubaki took a few steps toward the entrance, then hesitated and walked back. “Aki…”
”Is something wrong, Tsubaki-senpai?”
”Master, I’m looking forward to the next Cultivation.”

Before Aki could respond, the front door slammed. The Vice President had fled, her face beet-red. Left in the quiet apartment, Aki was genuinely bewildered. (Women… you can never really figure them out…)
