Someya Ruri, a stunning “white-gyaru” defined by her blonde hair, pale skin, and heavy makeup, brandished the carrot toward Higuchi Maria. Maria, a “black-gyaru” beauty wearing tiger-skin hot-pants and a matching bikini top, stared at the vegetable in disbelief. The tip was indeed swollen and rounded above a narrow constriction, an unmistakable mimicry of an erect male organ.
”Stop it, Ruri!” Maria cried, shielding her eyes.
Despite her provocative appearance—tanned skin, bleached hair, and a chest that threatened to spill out of her tiger-hide top—she looked genuinely distressed. “You know I’m not good with that kind of dirty talk!”

Maria grimaced at Ruri’s unfiltered words.
”Your ‘Prince’… honestly, it’s hard to tell him apart from Haruka if I keep calling him ‘The Prince,’ so let’s just stick with ‘Prince.’ Maria’s ‘Prince’ used to be so plain, but he’s gone totally flashy lately, hasn’t he? I heard that if you get his autograph, you’ll be blessed with kids. Maybe I’ll go snag a signature since we were classmates at the Academy… I’m starting to think it might be time for me to have my boyfriend’s baby!”
Ruri grinned widely, looking genuinely happy, but her expression soon shifted into something more somber.
”But seriously, Maria, what are you going to do about Prince-kun? Back at the Academy, before everyone’s Jobs were decided, you definitely could have made a move…”
”…I don’t even know anymore…”
Seeing Maria’s eyes well up with tears, Ruri panicked and pulled her into a tight hug.
”Sorry, sorry! I’ll help you out as much as I can! For now, let’s just focus on this dungeon crawl and make some bank!”
As the two caused a scene, another beauty approached. She had a flashy hairstyle, various piercings, and perfectly applied “cool-style” makeup, yet her face remained entirely stoic. This was the “downer-gyaru,” Kanazaki Hiyori.
”Monsters… coming. Over there.”
”Hiyorin, thanks! We’re counting on you as usual, Maria!” Ruri shouted.
”Yeah! Leave it to me!” Maria replied.
The girls shed their casual banter, their faces hardening into the expressions of veteran adventurers. Maria stepped forward while Ruri took up a supporting position in the rear. Hiyori, boasting superior mobility, began to move freely around the perimeter. This was the standard formation for the B-rank adventurer team: ‘Headlong into Gyaru.’
The monster emerging from the shadows was a Treant—a massive, sentient tree-warrior.
”If it’s just one Treant, I can handle it alone. Hiyorin, watch the perimeter for adds. Ruri, finish it off with magic!”
”Got it, Maria!” Ruri called out.
”…Roger,” Hiyori added.
While the downer-gyaru monitored the area and the white-gyaru began chanting, Maria sprinted directly toward the Treant.
”(Violent Pressure)!!”
As Maria unleashed her Phase Zero Skill, the Treant trembled as if physically overwhelmed by her aura. It recovered an instant later, lashing out with thick branches that swung like heavy whips. Maria met the wooden strikes with her greatsword, parrying and blocking with practiced precision.
”That’s it! Keep your eyes on me! Haaah!!”
Maria wove through the lashing branches, landing deep gouges on the Treant’s thick trunk. She kept the monster’s aggro locked firmly on her, dealing steady damage while creating an opening for her partner.
”Maria! Move!” Ruri shouted.
”On it!”
Hearing the signal, Maria struck away an incoming branch and used a backstep to clear the blast zone.
”(Fire Magic): Flame Bite!!”
A torrent of flame shaped like a snarling beast lunged forward, sinking its teeth into the Treant’s trunk and tearing through the wood. The monster didn’t collapse, but the damage was massive; its movements became visibly sluggish and brittle. Maria didn’t give it a moment to breathe.
”Haaaaaaaaah!! (Rotating Great Slash)!!”
Gripping her greatsword with both hands, Maria became a high-speed whirlwind of steel. She closed the distance in a blur, and the moment the Treant fell within her range, its trunk was shattered into splinters. The monster’s physical form dissolved into a cloud of black smoke.
The three members of ‘Headlong into Gyaru’ gathered where the monster had stood, their eyes lighting up.
”Lucky! It dropped [Treant Wood]!” Maria said.
[Treant Wood] was a versatile material that could change shape and size, making it highly valuable for construction. It was a rare drop that would fetch a high price at the Guild.
”We got the rare drop and a decent haul of dungeon veggies. Let’s head back for the day.”
”Agreed. I’m wiped,” Ruri said.
”…K,” Hiyori added.
The three began walking toward the entrance of the Phase Two Dungeon to end their crawl. But in that heartbeat, disaster struck.
”Eek!”
”Wh-what is this?! The floor is shaking! Why is it getting dark?!”
”…Earthquake?” Hiyori muttered.
A sudden, visceral roar of grinding stone echoed through the cavern. The dungeon lights flickered and died as a tremor so violent it knocked them off their feet surged through the floor.
