”Thank god! I made it just in time… Are you okay, Higuchi-san?” I asked.
Kneeling before the Black Anaconda¹ as it dissolved into a cloud of fading smoke was a gorgeous, tanned beauty—the final member of the Four Heavenly Kings², Higuchi Maria-san.

Perhaps I had closed the distance too much; she looked completely flustered, but I didn’t have the luxury of time. A severed limb was a catastrophic injury. Even if a Dungeon Explorer³ possessed superhuman physical endurance, the sooner the treatment began, the better.
”Please, trust me. Let me handle this… I want to save you!” I said.

She gazed up at me with a dreamy, dazed expression. She seemed completely out of it, likely due to the trauma of her injury, but in this state, she’d probably be okay even if I said something outrageous.
