”So, rather than walking all the way back to the first floor from here, I’m thinking I’d like to just go ahead and clear this Phase Three Dungeon¹ right now. What does everyone think?” I asked.
No voices of opposition rose from my party members, Mana, Minami-chan, or Haruka-san.
I continued by turning my gaze toward the trio of Gyarus: Maria-san, whose arm had fully grown back; Ruri-san, who had recovered from her faint; and Hiyori-san.
”We were just rescued, so we’ll follow Kanade-sama’s lead… Hiyorin, Ruriruri, that’s cool with you guys too, right ssu?” Maria asked.
”Mm…” Hiyori hummed.
”I’m down… but more importantly, hey, I feel like Maria has a really thirsty look on her face right now. Did something happen?” Ruri teased.
”N-n-n-n-no, nothing happened ssu!” Maria cried.
Maria was practically shouting her answer while fidgeting with her large backside, her face turning a bright, tell-tale red.
Ruri closed the distance, launching a fierce verbal interrogation as they began chatting loudly in typical Gyaru fashion.
Hiyori repeatedly pulled on them to keep them in check.
”You two, we’re inside a Phase Three Dungeon… keep it down,” Hiyori whispered.
”Ah, my bad—” Ruri said.
”Sorry… Kanade-sama and everyone else, we’re sorry ssu!” Maria added.
Maria-san and Ruri-san bowed their heads slightly.
”Well, if it’s Phase Three, even the final floor shouldn’t be much of a problem for us, so don’t worry. Since no one has any objections, let’s focus on clearing this place,” I said.
”Yes, Kanade-sama ssu…” Maria replied.
(Hmm, the way she looks at him is definitely different now. I’m making her give me the full story tonight…) Ruri thought.
Ruri seemed fixated on the change in Maria-san, but I decided that discussion could wait until we reached a safe zone.
”So, the boss is supposed to be in the center of this forest, right?” I asked.
”That’s right… back in Phase Two, the boss was an Elder Treant² in the heart of the woods, but—” Maria started.
”Since it’s jumped to Phase Three, maybe it’s an Ancient Treant³?” I suggested.
”I bet that’s it ssu!” Maria exclaimed.
After exchanging info with the members of ‘Headlong into Gyaru,’ I turned back to my own team, ‘Resonant Melody.’
”That’s the situation. What do you guys think?”
”I think an Ancient Treant will be easy pickings!” Mana cheered.
”Yeah, I agree. They’re slow and they don’t have many area-of-effect attacks. It should be easy to keep Maria and the others safe,” Minami-chan said.
”If it’s just an Ancient Treant, I can end this quickly if I go on the offensive,” Haruka-san added.
With that settled, we had no concerns left.
After a brief strategy meeting, we headed toward the boss area of the Phase Three Dungeon.

”ROOOOOOOOAAAAAAR!”
In a clearing at the center of the forest, a massive, tree-like monster let out a deafening cry.
It was an Ancient Treant, exactly as we had predicted.
The beast lashed out with branch-whips at speeds that were hard to track, following up with nearly invisible blades of wind magic.
However, for us, currently bolstered by various buffs, the attacks were easy to dodge; even when they landed, the damage was negligible.
Most importantly, none of the attacks were reaching the members of ‘Headlong into Gyaru,’ who were waiting safely by the wall.
For girls at a Phase Two level, a single hit from an Ancient Treant could be fatal.
(I really wanted to use an Anus Pressure Point⁴ on all three of them just in case, but… putting aside Maria-san, who’s been strangely affectionate, I can’t exactly go around doing that to Ruri-san and Hiyori-san. Especially Ruri—she apparently has a great boyfriend, and I’m not into the whole cuckold scene.) Kanade thought.
”As expected, a standard Phase Three boss isn’t a problem for us anymore,” I noted.
Minami-chan was a blur of motion, her two-handed sword hacking through the Treant’s branches with rhythmic strikes.
Haruka-san followed up, her heavy mace shattering the main trunk with every blow.
Mana, wreathed in Dungeon Energy⁵ and hyper-boosted by physical augmentation, skillfully sprinted up the giant tree, crushing its surface with her bare fists.
”The three of them could handle this alone… but I should at least throw out a debuff,” I said.
I ran toward the Ancient Treant, scaling the massive trunk while weaving through the whip-like branches and wind magic.
”Mana, launch me up to that thick branch!” I yelled.
”Got it!” Mana replied.
She caught me mid-climb and hurled me upward; I landed perfectly, sprinted along a thick bough, and jammed my fingers into the Debuff Pressure Point⁶ at the tip.
The effect was immediate.
The Ancient Treant’s movements turned sluggish, and the damage dealt by Mana, Minami-chan, and Haruka-san skyrocketed.
The monster didn’t last much longer.
The giant tree dissolved into a cloud of smoke, leaving behind nothing but the high-tier loot of a Phase Three boss.
The girls of ‘Headlong into Gyaru’ watched ‘Resonant Melody’ in sheer awe.
”Wow… Kanade-sama is way too cool ssu…” Maria whispered.
Maria’s eyes were misty as she stared at Kanade, her cheeks flushed while she nervously swayed her hips.
”Mm, agreed… that’s an A-Rank for you,” Hiyori noted.
”Right? But seriously, I’m more worried about Maria sounding and looking so thirsty,” Ruri said.
”Mm… same,” Hiyori agreed.
”N-n-n-no, I don’t ssu!” Maria stammered.
”Maria… did Kanade-kun already do something to you? Did you seriously pop your cherry while we were knocked out?” Ruri teased.
”I-I didn’t! He just… he just used his finger a little ssu!” Maria blurted out.
”Oho, he used his finger, did he? If that’s the face you make after just a finger, Kanade-kun must be a legend… I’ll let it slide for now, Maria, but you’re giving us every detail tonight!” Ruri laughed.
”Mm, agreed,” Hiyori said.
Maria had safely returned from the Dungeon Revolution⁷, but that night, she would be forced to recount everything that had happened between her and Kanade to Ruri and Hiyori.”

Paired with a composed, pragmatic strategist in a glossy black bodysuit—both Dungeon Energy Masters—Kanade supplies restorative aid while her partner leads tactically and crushes foes with raw strength. Former class president, she now fights in the Resonant Melody party, short‑haired and able to scale and pulverize giant enemies.
• Hiyori – Scout of the Headlong into Gyaru party, she sports a flashy hairstyle, piercings, and bold makeup, giving a cool aesthetic. Stoic yet analytical, she monitors dungeon mechanics like Phase Three shifts, prioritizing safety and protocol, often reining in louder teammates.
• Maria – Blonde, tanned B‑rank adventurer and Four Heavenly King, dubbed “Boob Gal” for her massive chest and tiger‑print bikini, sports a curvy backside. She lost an arm to a Black Anaconda but now recovers, vulnerable yet fiercely durable as the party’s tank. Infatuated with her healer Kanade, she openly admires his care.
• Ruri – Blonde, pale‑skinned, heavily made‑up adventurer in a tiger‑skin bikini top, fire‑magic user of Headlong into Gyaru. Recently recovered from fainting, she’s outspoken and observant, noting the romance between Maria and Kanade while casually discussing her boyfriend and desires.
• Kanade – Calm, analytical academy student and high‑ranking adventurer, leader of Resonant Melody. Wears a black anaconda suit and wields the Lizard Fang Sword, a pressure‑point gun, and a Black Ball storage item. As a Vital Point Practitioner he manipulates pressure points to heal, buff, and debuff foes, and is fiercely devoted to his party, especially Minami.
