Vital-Master v2c21

Volume 2 Chapter 21

Edited by: Kanaa-senpai

I was visiting the Dungeon Explorer Guild Headquarters together with Mana-san.

One of the reasons was to report on the “Headlong into Gyaru” rescue request I had previously received from the Dungeon Explorer Guild.

I headed toward the counter where the lovely Explorer Guild receptionists were lined up.

I told them that we had successfully rescued every member of “Headlong into Gyaru,” and that we had proceeded to conquer the transformed Phase Three¹ dungeon.

”Hirosawa Kanade-sama of the A-Rank Explorer team ‘Resonant Melody’… I have logged your report regarding the complete conquest of the transformed Phase Three dungeon,” the receptionist said.

”Our records confirm the dungeon has indeed been cleared. Regarding the rewards from the Explorer Guild for this matter: 30 million yen for the emergency rescue during the Dungeon Revolution², 20 million yen as a success bonus, and 50 million yen as the Phase Three completion reward. Is a total of 100 million yen acceptable?”

It was the kind of money that could seriously warp your sense of reality.

Then again, if you’re trying to gear up for Phase Three, you can easily blow through hundreds of millions.

In our case, we’ve been able to farm almost everything as drops, so this was basically pure profit.

Still, you can never have too much cash.

”Yes, that’s the amount I was expecting,” I replied.

”Also, here is the Dungeon Stone³ from the Phase Three boss-the Ancient Treant-and some [Ancient Treant Wood]. Can I ask you to purchase these?”

”Understood. For a stone of this size, the regulation price is 5 million yen. Is that acceptable?” she asked.

Up until about Phase Two, earnings from Dungeon Stones aren’t anything to scoff at.

But from Phase Three onward, Dungeon Materials and Guild rewards tend to yield better profits.

Still, 5 million yen is a hell of a payday.

By the way, these rewards are shown after the Guild has already taken out the withholding tax.

The amount they tell you is exactly what hits your account.

 ”Yeah, that’s fine,” I said.

”I understand. Since [Ancient Treant Wood] is a precious Rare Drop, I recommend putting it up for the Explorer Guild’s periodic auction. We could buy it directly, but an auction would fetch a much higher price.”

”Got it. Let’s go with that.”

The receptionists usually know the market better than anyone, so I figured I’d take her advice.

Guild staff are generally good people; there’s rarely a reason to doubt them.

Of course, you get the occasional weirdo… but Mana-san is a pro at sniffing those types out.

Since she stayed quiet, I knew we were in good hands.

”Is there anything else I can help you with?” she asked.

”I’d like to start the paperwork for a Clan. We’re going to have our A-Rank team, ‘Resonant Melody,’ act as the Leader and bring in the B-Rank team ‘Headlong into Gyaru’ as members. They should be submitting their side of the application soon.”

Maria-san had taken a liking to me for some reason and insisted she wanted us to work together from now on.

For a small team like ours, it was a great offer, but just absorbing them into the team directly would have been… complicated.

(If they joined my team officially, I’d have to perform (Pressure Point) on them too…)

Maria-san had already experienced it and was eager for more, and Hiyori-san, the downer Gyaru, seemed genuinely curious.

Even Ruri-san, the stunning white Gyaru, looked interested, but the “side effects” of my skill definitely weren’t something she should be dealing with while she had a boyfriend.

So, we settled on keeping “Headlong into Gyaru” as their own unit under our Clan umbrella.

I’ll provide the necessary (Pressure Point) treatments for Maria-san and Hiyori-san to boost their stats.

For Ruri-san-who can’t use that method-I’ll gear her up with high-end equipment instead.

Her growth might be a bit slower, but hey, people make it to S-Rank without my cheats all the time.

”Understood. Once we verify the filing from ‘Headlong into Gyaru,’ we’ll process the formation,” the receptionist said.

”It usually takes about a month to become official, but you’ll start receiving Clan benefits starting tomorrow.”

”Great, thank you. One more thing-I believe there’s a high-ranking explorer meeting today? Is it in the usual room?”

”That’s correct. Take the private elevator to the 25th floor, go straight down the hall, and it’s the room at the end,” she replied.

 ”Thanks again,” I said.

I gave her a nod and headed for the elevator.

Mana-san and I stepped inside, but just as the doors started to close, they were forced open again.

”…Tch. If it isn’t the damn upstarts. Get out. Find another lift.”

The man who shoved his way in was handsome enough, I guess, but his face was so twisted with arrogance that he looked hideous.

He reminded me of a certain someone.

”What are you even talking about, Leader Kosaka-san of the ‘Noble Soul’ group? You got here last. You wait for the next one,” Mana-san said, her voice dropping to absolute zero.

 Kosaka-san’s face contorted with rage.

”Hah?! You think nobodies like you shouldn’t be making way for a senior like me?!”

”You keep saying ‘nobodies,’ but we’re both A-Rank,” Mana-san replied.

”There is a world of difference between trashy upstarts and a legacy team like ‘Noble Soul’!”

”Is that so? And what exactly has your team achieved lately? We just cleared a Phase Three. Since you’ve been stuck in A-Rank for so long, I assume you finally managed to clear a Phase Four? Or are you still just talking?”

”You-! We’ve cleared a Phase Four before! We aren’t like you!”

The two of them went back and forth like that.

Honestly, it’s rare for Mana-san to be this aggressive, but I couldn’t blame her.

This Kosaka-san was the older brother of the Kosaka from our academy days.

To Mana-san-who views those few months of her life as literal insanity-even looking at a face that shares his DNA is probably nauseating.

And “Big Brother” Kosaka-san seems to hold a grudge against us because of what his brother pulled.

Every time we cross paths, it turns into a shouting match.

Naturally, while they were arguing, the elevator doors finally slid shut.

 ”Tch…”

The elevator became a silent, cramped box filled with nothing but bad vibes.

When the doors finally opened, Kosaka-san stormed out, his heavy footsteps echoing down the hall.

”Mana-san, don’t let him get to you. He just likes to hear himself talk. He’s a waste of energy…”

”Kanade-kun, I know that, but… please, kiss me! I need to purify my heart! ♡”

 ”H-here?! I mean… okay. I get it,” I said.

I felt a little weird about making out in a Guild hallway, but one look at those sad, pleading eyes and I was powerless.

I cupped Mana-san’s soft cheeks in my hands and pulled her in.

Once our lips met, everything else faded away.

I stayed there, savoring the sweetness of her lips, until the chime of the next elevator finally pulled us apart.

His gentle demeanor and tactical brilliance make him the team’s emotional and strategic center, beloved yet enigmatic.

• Hirosawa – Quiet, cute male student and Phase-Zero protagonist of National Dungeon Academy, known as the Vital Point Master—his Pressure-Point Eye and Adversarial Pressure-Point skills allow him to manipulate bodies, induce physiological responses, and enhance allies through touch. Wielding a Goblin Sword, he channels Dungeon Energy to boost stamina and perform physical augmentations, currently managing a harem while guiding Haruka-san, whose primal response to his scent deepens their intimate bond, as he explores his own erogenous zones through anal stimulation and erotic energy mastery.

Wears a black anaconda suit and wields the Lizard Fang Sword, a pressure‑point gun, and a Black Ball storage item.
