Chapter 124 The Sky as a Blanket, the Earth as a Bed

Edited by: Kanaa-senpai

Kalawarner had reached her absolute limit.

Despite the intensity, she still hadn’t managed a full Breaching¹.

If Aki wanted to continue her Cultivation, he would have to wait for her to digest the life energy flooding her belly.

Only after she further refined her Mana could they attempt to push her further.

The blue-haired, stacked beauty was completely spent, unable to even stand.

However, Amano Yuuma and Mittelt were still hungry for more.

Once he was certain Kalawarner wasn’t in any real danger, Aki finally felt free to let go and engage in Dual Cultivation² with the others.

The two Fallen Angel girls were already A-rank.

The benefits of Dual Cultivation with them were technically greater than with Kalawarner, but until Aki himself could Breach the Bottleneck, the difference was negligible.

What kept him from stopping wasn’t just desire; it was a sensation.

During the previous sessions, he had caught a faint, flickering rhythm of the world.

Every time he tried to grasp it, the feeling vanished.

As Aki focused entirely on the Dual Cultivation, that hazy threshold of the Martial God³ realm began to manifest in his mind once more.

He couldn’t tell if this was an illusion brought on by their first outdoor orgy or if he truly could achieve an S-rank Breaching in this space.

Either way, there was no harm in continuing.

Besides, sitting around idly was a waste.

He might as well keep “feeding” the two beauties.

He told himself it was a good deed, helping them boost their strength while satisfying his own.

With the sky as his blanket and the earth as his bed, Aki pulled the curvaceous, raven-haired girl into his arms and began a fresh round of conquest.

As he immersed himself in the act, the hazy perceptions grew crystalline.

The earth, the sky, the breeze, the trees, the grass, the stones…

The vast universe, the mysterious heavens and yellow earth, the balance of Yin and Yang, the five elements returning to one…

His body and mind drifted into an indescribable state of enlightenment, and his entire being began to radiate a profound, ancient aura.

Even the three women shared in this wondrous mental state.

Amano Yuuma and Mittelt felt their mental power surge as if it had grown a full stage.

Magical concepts that had once baffled them suddenly became clear.

Kalawarner’s reaction was the most visceral.

Trapped at B-rank, she shattered her Bottleneck with ease.

She completed a fundamental evolution of her life essence as the light blue Mana saturating her body deepened into a rich navy.

(The Martial Way… the Immortal Path… So this is what the Martial God realm truly is…)

 Aki’s entire frame shuddered.

His Great Dragon pressed firmly against the soft, tender center of Amano Yuuma, injecting her with his most potent, forceful Essence yet.

This was Essence that had touched the threshold of S-rank; its quality was nearly double what it had been moments ago.

Amano Yuuma’s eyes squeezed shut, her body twitching in the throes of a climax that transcended both flesh and spirit.

Mittelt moved in to take her place immediately, guiding the Great Dragon into her own body so that Aki’s meditation on the world wouldn’t be interrupted.

The lewd, prolonged session stretched on for hours.

Even the newly-ascended A-rank Kalawarner eventually crawled back in to assist Aki in his search for enlightenment.

Ultimately, it wasn’t enough to push Aki into a full S-rank Breaching.

Though he didn’t shatter the Bottleneck, the harvest was massive.

He had finally mapped out the exact path he needed to take to reach the Martial God stage.

To move from a Martial Saint to a Martial God, one’s comprehension had to evolve from the Martial Way itself toward the laws of the universe.

One had to achieve the Unity of Man and Nature, where every strike carried the momentum of the world.

Simply put, attacks could now hijack the surrounding energy, causing power to grow exponentially.

When a single strike can level a small mountain, you have reached the Martial God realm.

With this realization, Aki began to form theories about the long-lost Immortal Path.

Drawing on his experience from his previous life, he realized that harmonizing with nature was the limit of the Martial Way.

To go further, one had to act against the heavens.

And the “Immortal” was the ultimate rebel against the natural order.

The Immortal Path was a journey of acting against heaven, a road where human will eventually surpassed the power of the world itself.

Without an inherited legacy, a Martial Way practitioner who had achieved the “Unity of Man and Nature” would almost never think to reverse their course.

They would never think to fight against the very world they had just harmonized with.

Precisely because that transition was so difficult, most worlds with an Immortal Path had a separate starting point—nurturing Qi from the very beginning.

But this chaotic world lacked that foundation.

The glory of the Immortal Path had flared up briefly before vanishing, leaving only the truncated path of the Martial Way behind.

As for whether eternal, god-level powerhouses had sabotaged the inheritance…

The era was too distant to verify.

Whether the Immortal Path worked exactly as Aki imagined was something he would have to test personally later on.

Aki also stumbled upon the secret of this strange land.

This wasn’t a man-made barrier; it was a Natural Formation—a magical array formed by pure chance.

The odds of such a thing being born were infinitesimally small, and they were incredibly fragile.

A minor tremor or the shifting of a boulder could cause the whole thing to dissipate.

In Japan, earthquakes were a daily occurrence.

Aki suspected this formation had been created by pure fluke during a recent quake.

If it had been here long, someone would have leaked the news by now.

Normally, Aki couldn’t have sensed the world’s laws through s*x, but this Natural Formation was different.

It wasn’t that he was sensing the “World”; he was sensing this specific, localized array.

That was exactly why he couldn’t Breach the Bottleneck here.

The formation was miraculous, even containing traces of Time and Space laws, but compared to the complete universe outside, it was an incomplete fragment.

To truly reach S-rank, Aki needed to commune with the true laws of the heavens.

Still, this experience was the “Key.”

Unlike before, when he couldn’t even find the door, he now knew exactly where the entrance to the Martial God realm was located.

With enough effort, he would be swinging that door open soon.

Aki laid the three girls down on the grass.

He conjured a sphere of clear water to wash them all down, and then, in a flash of light, he was fully dressed.

(Sweet. This Instant Illusion talent is a lifesaver for post-cleanup.)

Amused, Aki continued to rain down fresh water on the three girls sprawled on the ground.

As he cleaned them, he spoke up.

”I’ve figured out how to get us out of here,” Aki said. “Stop lounging around and get your clothes on.”

The three of them, still drifting in the afterglow, snapped to attention.

While having s*x under the open sky was fantastic, they didn’t want to spend another second trapped in this weird place if they could help it.

 This space was unsettling.

Ever since their phones had died, they had lost all track of time.

If Kalawarner hadn’t reached her physical limit, they might not have even realized how long they’d been stuck.

”How do you suddenly know the way out?” Amano Yuuma asked.

She flexed her Mana, shaking the water droplets off her skin before a flash of white light covered her body in revealing black leather.

”It was that weird enlightenment I just had,” Aki replied.

He gave a simplified explanation of the Natural Formation.

He didn’t really expect them to grasp the metaphysics.

Surprisingly, the concept of “Arrays” wasn’t foreign to them.

The mysterious powers of the East were well-known among Fallen Angels.

By the time he finished explaining, Mittelt and Kalawarner were also dressed.

 ”Follow me,” Aki said.

He paused, then added, “Actually, it doesn’t matter if you can’t keep up.”

He knew the way out, but explaining the logic was another story.

It was one of those “only felt, not told” situations.

The path was complex, and the girls might lose the trail, but once he was on the outside, he could just dismantle the formation from the exterior.

Or rather, “destroying it” was a better word.

The three followed Aki as he wound through the forest.

Along the way, Aki shoved aside a massive bluestone and uprooted a nameless tree.

After taking a few more steps forward, Aki suddenly vanished from their sight.

The three girls stared at each other in total confusion.

But just as they were about to panic, the scenery in front of them began to dissolve like a photograph being touched by a flame.

Stepping out of the formation, Aki turned around.

Before him was the familiar landscape of Mount Mitsu; there was no sign of that strange, hidden space.

In his perception, however, that area remained a chaotic blur.

The three girls hadn’t managed to follow him through the exit.

Fearing they would freak out, Aki didn’t hesitate.

He decisively summoned a barrage of lightning and began to glass the entire area.
