Amano Yuuma’s eyes squeezed shut, her body twitching in the throes of a climax that transcended both flesh and spirit.
Mittelt moved in to take her place immediately, guiding the Great Dragon into her own body so that Aki’s meditation on the world wouldn’t be interrupted.
The lewd, prolonged session stretched on for hours.
Even the newly-ascended A-rank Kalawarner eventually crawled back in to assist Aki in his search for enlightenment.
Ultimately, it wasn’t enough to push Aki into a full S-rank Breaching.
Though he didn’t shatter the Bottleneck, the harvest was massive.
He had finally mapped out the exact path he needed to take to reach the Martial God stage.
To move from a Martial Saint to a Martial God, one’s comprehension had to evolve from the Martial Way itself toward the laws of the universe.
One had to achieve the Unity of Man and Nature, where every strike carried the momentum of the world.
Simply put, attacks could now hijack the surrounding energy, causing power to grow exponentially.
When a single strike can level a small mountain, you have reached the Martial God realm.
With this realization, Aki began to form theories about the long-lost Immortal Path.
Drawing on his experience from his previous life, he realized that harmonizing with nature was the limit of the Martial Way.
To go further, one had to act against the heavens.
And the “Immortal” was the ultimate rebel against the natural order.
The Immortal Path was a journey of acting against heaven, a road where human will eventually surpassed the power of the world itself.
Without an inherited legacy, a Martial Way practitioner who had achieved the “Unity of Man and Nature” would almost never think to reverse their course.
They would never think to fight against the very world they had just harmonized with.

He didn’t really expect them to grasp the metaphysics.
Surprisingly, the concept of “Arrays” wasn’t foreign to them.
The mysterious powers of the East were well-known among Fallen Angels.
By the time he finished explaining, Mittelt and Kalawarner were also dressed.
”Follow me,” Aki said.
He paused, then added, “Actually, it doesn’t matter if you can’t keep up.”
He knew the way out, but explaining the logic was another story.
It was one of those “only felt, not told” situations.
The path was complex, and the girls might lose the trail, but once he was on the outside, he could just dismantle the formation from the exterior.
Or rather, “destroying it” was a better word.
The three followed Aki as he wound through the forest.
Along the way, Aki shoved aside a massive bluestone and uprooted a nameless tree.
After taking a few more steps forward, Aki suddenly vanished from their sight.
The three girls stared at each other in total confusion.
But just as they were about to panic, the scenery in front of them began to dissolve like a photograph being touched by a flame.
Stepping out of the formation, Aki turned around.
Before him was the familiar landscape of Mount Mitsu; there was no sign of that strange, hidden space.
In his perception, however, that area remained a chaotic blur.
The three girls hadn’t managed to follow him through the exit.
Fearing they would freak out, Aki didn’t hesitate.
He decisively summoned a barrage of lightning and began to glass the entire area.

• Amano – Raynare, a fallen angel, masquerades as schoolgirl Yuma Amano in Kuoh Town. She has long black hair, a striking figure, and adopts the Amano surname to hide her true self. After reaching A-Rank with Aki she gains a black-belly nature and can instantly change clothes. The Amano name links her to the Fallen Angel faction and to Yuuma.
• Yuuma – Amano Yuuma, the fallen angel Raynare, is a striking, curvaceous beauty with long black hair and violet eyes. A former Grigori operative, she is a petite, tsundere warrior who wields light magic. After defecting to become a Pawn in Rias Gremory’s peerage, she now serves Aki with obsessive, yielding devotion, sharing a deep physical and spiritual bond through their frequent dual cultivation.
