”Sakurako-san… go ahead,” I said.
Clearing this Phase Five Dungeon had truly been possible only because of Sakurako-san’s power.
I spoke up to entrust her with the duty of recovering the core.
However, Sakurako, wearing a thin smile on her beautiful face, gave a small shake of her head.
”No. I may have handled the boss solo, but I believe the strength of every single member of ‘Resonant Melody’⁵ was essential to clearing this Phase Five Dungeon.
For the finish, let’s do it all together!” Sakurako said.
”I understand. Mana, everyone, are you ready?” I asked.
”Yes, of course,” Mana replied.
”Minami is totally down for that!” Minami-chan cried.
”Of course I am too,” Haruka-san said.
”I’m in favor of that as well!” Maria-san added.
With that, myself, Mana, Minami-chan, Haruka-san, Maria-san, and Sakurako-san surrounded the Phase Five Dungeon core and placed our palms upon it.
Lifting the Dungeon Core slowly and in unison, the dazzling light of the sphere began to fade away.
Eventually, the light vanished completely, and the Dungeon Core transformed into a simple white orb.
It was the exact same phenomenon that had occurred when we completely cleared the Phase Two and Phase Three Dungeons.
”So… that means the dungeon is fully cleared. Does this mean Phase Five Dungeon Shinjuku will disappear in a few minutes, just like always?” I asked.
Those words were directed toward Sakurako-san, but the person who returned an answer to my question was not Sakurako.
”Normally that would be the case, but right now, things are different! The Fifth Dungeon! Ah, in this world, it’s called the Phase Five Dungeon, isn’t it? Congratulations on your conquest of the Phase Five Dungeon!” a voice shouted.
Before we knew it, a familiar figure with androgynous beauty—someone who could be either male or female—had appeared beside us.
