After Aki spent one last day in bed with the three Takamine ladies, the start of the new semester arrived whether he liked it or not.
Winter break was over for the three of them, and Mother Takamine had to return to her company to report for duty.
Once that was done, they would move forward with their pre-arranged plan.
Clinging to the pale, shapely legs of Rias felt amazing, but Aki still hoped to one day be the “thigh” that others clung to.
To that end, it wasn’t enough to just have personal strength; he needed to develop a faction of his own.
On the first day of the new term, Aki spent the morning being affectionate with the Occult Research Club members after the opening ceremony.
By the afternoon, he had migrated to the Student Council room of his other master, Shitori Sona.
It had been far too long since he’d been close with his dear Vice President, so Aki brazenly followed Shinra Tsubaki back to her apartment after school.
However, since Shitori Sona lived next door, he wasn’t able to stay the night.
Once their Dual Cultivation³ session was over, he was unceremoniously kicked out by a flushed Shinra Tsubaki.
As he was leaving, Shitori Sona came out to see him off.
Catching a glimpse of the beautiful, short-haired girl in glasses and the way she pressed her legs together in an unnatural, tight posture, Aki felt the trip wasn’t a total loss.
Among the beauties he had been with, there were others with Sona’s style, but every time he saw the Student Council President, his heart began to itch.
It was likely because he hadn’t managed to claim any “spoils” with her yet.

He rubbed his nose and gave a self-deprecating shrug before leaving the luxury apartment complex in a great mood.
The next day, Aki had barely finished his first class when he received a call from Mother Takamine.
”Aki-chan, I might be tied up here for a few more days. The resignation isn’t going very smoothly.”
Hearing the weariness in her voice, Aki instinctively frowned.
What kind of trouble could there be with quitting a job?

A long-lost premonition surfaced in his mind.
Without a doubt, the Scumbag Parent Trope⁴ that had been quiet for so long was starting to act up again.
He gave Mother Takamine a few words of comfort over the phone, then immediately asked Rias for permission to leave campus and headed straight there.
Mother Takamine didn’t work in Kuoh Town; her office was located in the Meguro District, much closer to the center of Tokyo.
To avoid making a scene, Aki flew until he was close to the office building, then found a secluded spot to land and walked the rest of the way.
Wandering through a commercial district in a school uniform on a workday still drew eyes, but it was less of a spectacle than falling from the sky.
Aki had originally planned to use an illusion to stroll into the company and investigate, but if this was the Scumbag Parent Trope at work, he wouldn’t be satisfied until he had crushed every threat.
Under the influence of the trope, the moment a Sleazy Blonde saw him, they wouldn’t be able to stay hidden; they’d be forced to confront him directly.
Because of that, he chose to use himself as bait.
He activated a subtle perception magic, and with the help of his Insight Eye⁵, he quickly located Mother Takamine.
Flashing a handsome, gentle smile, he easily talked his way past the receptionist and took the elevator to her office.
Having worked there for over a decade, she had managed to become a mid-level manager with her own private office.
Aki found the door with her surname on it and knocked.
”Who is it?”
A mature, cold voice called out-completely lacking the flirtatious charm she showed at home.
Aki’s brow hitched. He cleared his throat and said, “Sister Kasumi, it’s me.”
”Aki-chan?!” Mother Takamine’s voice spiked with surprise as she threw open the door. “What are you doing here? Weren’t you at school?”
Aki let out a mischievous laugh, hooked his arm around her waist, and pulled her lush, soft body into the office.
He kicked the door shut, blocking out the prying eyes of the curious employees.
”Sister Kasumi is in trouble. Of course I’m going to come help.”
Aki held the beautiful widow in her office lady uniform and kissed her deeply several times before explaining why he had come.
He sat down in her office chair and pulled Mother Takamine onto his lap, holding her intimately.
Being this close to a man in public, let alone in her own office, was a first for her.
She shyly pushed against Aki’s chest and whispered, “Aki-chan… don’t do this. What if someone walks in and sees?”
”Then let them look. Sister Kasumi is single; what’s wrong with her being in a relationship?” Aki replied with an indifferent shrug.
Seeing that she couldn’t win, Mother Takamine simply let him have his way.
She figured that if someone did see, they’d just think she was a cradle robber.
She wasn’t planning on staying at this company anyway, so it didn’t matter if her reputation was ruined.
After a bit of playing around, Aki asked about the details.
Mother Takamine didn’t hide anything, pouring out her frustrations in one go.
To put it simply, there were two issues with her resignation.
First, her superior refused to let her go, using threats and bribes to try and force her to stay.
If she insisted on leaving in a month, that final month would likely be a nightmare.
Second, there was the President.
As expected, there was no such thing as a free lunch.
He had treated Mother Takamine well all those years because he wanted her to raise his son, but he also had a “taking care of the friend’s wife” fetish.
She hadn’t given him an opening for over a decade, and because he was busy, he had been playing the long game.
But seeing her try to resign, he finally lost his patience and made a direct, aggressive play for the beautiful widow.
”This President…” Aki frowned. “Does he have blonde hair?”
Mother Takamine gave him a strange look. “No, but his son dyed his hair yellow recently.”

Aki set the confusion aside for a moment and asked about the other issue.
”The one who sent you away on that business trip for half a year… is that the same guy refusing to let you quit?”
”Yes. That old man has a terrible reputation for harassing female employees. He only stayed away from me because of the President,” Mother Takamine explained.
She nodded and added, “He sent me away for so long probably because I stopped him from cornering a new hire. He was holding a grudge.”
(Both of them were suspicious.)
Aki rubbed his chin, unable to figure out which one was the designated Sleazy Blonde for this arc.
As expected, this kind of detective work wasn’t for him.
In the end, he would just have to use a crude “fishing” method.
Once he solved the Sleazy Blonde, Mother Takamine’s troubles would vanish naturally.
If he weren’t worried about the antagonist going after his other women later, Aki could have solved the resignation with a few simple mental spells.
With his current strength, he was essentially a god to these ordinary people.
Aki nibbled on Mother Takamine’s ear and whispered his plan. “Sister Kasumi, here’s what we’re going to do… first this, then that…”
The more she listened, the more confused she became.
This plan didn’t seem to have anything to do with her resignation; it sounded more like they were just flaunting their relationship.
She was right.
