Even the Nekoshou³, the strongest of the Nekomata clan, had been taken to the Underworld as a child by a Stray Devil to be raised as a Peerage⁴ vassal.
Koneko and her sister Kuroka were proof of that.
Compared to the vastness of the world, a tiny island nation like Neon was just a drop in the bucket.
It wasn’t surprising that their supernatural forces, no matter how strong, were encroached upon by the outside world.
Finding out the opponents were Youkai meant Aki had even fewer reservations.
After so much time exploring, he understood the general state of this chaotic Inner World⁵.
Aside from the Big Three races-Devils, Angels, and Fallen Angels-only the Dragons and Humans really had any say in things.
The Dragons were relevant because of their sheer individual power, while the Humans were relevant because of their massive population.
The power of the Hero Clan was really just a footnote.
Of course, that was just the situation in Neon.
With Aki’s current ability, he didn’t have the reach to understand the state of the entire world just yet.
The “entire world” didn’t just mean the Human Realm; it included the Underworld and the Heaven Realm too.
Broadly speaking, even the infinite universe beyond this world contained life and competing powers.
While Aki was scrutinizing them, the three Youkai were sizing him up as well.
You don’t build a company that large by being stupid.

Higuma, who was clearly all brawn and no brains, spoke up immediately.
”Doesn’t matter who they are. Grab the kid first.”
They didn’t know the strength of the people inside, but grabbing a hostage was always a safe bet.
They could use him for blackmail later or just as a shield to keep the others from acting.
The muscle-bound Higuma began walking toward Aki with a predatory grin.
”Not bad. I didn’t think I’d find such a pretty, fresh-faced boy today. Don’t worry. As long as you’re a good boy and listen, I won’t hurt you.”
The moment those words left his mouth, every man present felt a wave of nausea.
Miura Akira, in particular, looked like he was having a PTSD episode.
He started shaking like a leaf, his face turning deathly pale as if he were remembering something horrific.
Facing that lewd, disgusting gaze, Aki almost couldn’t resist slapping the man into oblivion right then and there.
Luckily, the guy moved fast.
If he hadn’t, Aki wasn’t sure he could have kept up the act.
That look was beyond repulsive.
”This guy Higuma… all these years and he still likes that?”
Nue said with frustration, “He’s already tasted all those delicate little beauties. Why does he still want to be the one taking it up the tailpipe?”
”If he wants to be a bottom, he should at least find someone sturdier,” Baku said as he watched the giant close in on Aki.
”Why does he always go for the fragile types?” Baku added.
Listening to their conversation, Aki felt another wave of disgust.
Being gay was one thing, but a bottom too…?
He shot a look of genuine sympathy at the dazed Miura Akira.
He didn’t know the specifics, but looking at the yellow-haired punk, even if they hadn’t gone all the way, it was probably close enough.

But he didn’t move.
He had waited this long specifically for this moment.
The guy was only trying to grab him, but since Aki was acting, he figured he’d go big to really sell the “justification.”
The second the giant’s hand brushed Aki’s skin, Aki went flying backward.
’CRASH!’ Aki’s back slammed into the wall, a spiderweb of cracks erupting from the point of impact.
Blood leaked from the corner of his mouth.
Even though the hand had reached for his neck, the bloody palm print appeared right on his chest.
No one could react in time, especially Higuma.
He stared at his own hand in a daze, having no idea what had just happened.
Before they could figure it out, Aki stood up as if nothing had happened, brushed the dust off his clothes, and wiped the “ketchup” from his lip.
”Reina, you got all that on record, right?” said Aki, ignoring the ugly looks from Higuma and the others.
After half a year together, Aki’s relationship with Hamazaki Reina and the others had grown much closer; they were all on a first-name basis now.
This was the first time since he’d arrived in this world that he’d decided to claim them all for himself.
He couldn’t keep using their last names forever.
”All set!” said Reina.
Hamazaki Reina, wearing a loose white T-shirt, flashed an “OK” sign and smiled as she handed the camera to Aki.
”Aki, can we finally start breaking things now?” said Yukina.
The more battle-hungry Sasaki Yukina was already rolling up her sleeves, ready for a fight.
Aki checked the footage with a bored expression.
”Yeah. If the normals don’t get in the way, don’t kill them. As for the rest… do whatever you want.”
He had gathered the girls earlier specifically to tell them that there would be blood this time.
He wasn’t sure how many of them could actually handle it, but he had a feeling they wouldn’t let him down.
