I bolted toward the jet-black light I’d seen earlier, but because I had to stop and rescue residents who were being swarmed by monsters along the way, it took me about five minutes to finally reach the spot.
”…No way… Maria-san!!!”
Lying face down on the ground there was a blood-covered, Dark Gyaru beautiful girl.
As an ominous feeling flashed through my mind, I rushed over to Maria-san, who wasn’t moving a muscle.
”…Thank goodness, she’s alive! Maria-san!!!”
I had panicked, thinking she might have died, but Maria-san’s body was warm, and her chest was moving, showing that she was still breathing.
While lifting her up into my arms, I took out a Breast Milk Potion¹ made from her own breast milk from inside my Black Ball².
After splashing it onto her visible wounds, I took the rest into my mouth and stole a kiss from Maria-san.
As I slowly poured the Breast Milk Potion into her while pushing down on her tongue, her throat eventually began to move with a gulp, gulp.
A while later, Maria-san slowly opened her eyelids.
”…Ah, Kanade-samaー…I’m sorry, I lostー”
”It’s not your fault. That jet-black light… something pretty dangerous showed up, right?”
”Yeahー…a Black Dragon… it was probably a Phase Six³, lower-level one…”
”What… why would a monster like that appear in a place like this!”
Normally, a high-phase monster should have no reason to appear in the vicinity of New Tokyo.
If a Phase Six monster appears, the only people capable of dealing with it are members of ‘Resonant Melody’ and a few others.
If it’s a lower-level one on top of that, the only three people who can stop it head-on are me, Mana, and Sakurako-san.
As for who could take it down solo… probably, only I can.
”But, I fought with everything I had, and I think I managed to protect most of the people! Even though I got taken out, I did my best!”
”Yeah, there are no dead people around, so I think you managed to merge with the guard team in the front or the back. You did well, Maria-san! It’s such a relief that you’re alive, too!”
When I petted Maria-san’s silky blonde hair with a “good, good,” she squinted her eyes happily.
However, Maria-san immediately changed her expression to one filled with tragic intensity.
”Ah, but, before I lost consciousness… Aiai was…”
”By Aiai, you mean Aina-chan?”
Maria-san and Aina-chan had become friends before I knew it, perhaps through Mana.
Come to think of it, during today’s move, Maria-san and Aina-chan were nearby.
”Yeah… there was a person riding on top of that Black Dragon… and after I was defeated, they came down.”
”A person… on top of a Black Dragon?”
The people who come to mind when hearing that someone can do such a thing are those with [Monster Tamer] type Jobs.
But I’ve never heard of a [Monster Tamer] capable of making a Phase Six, lower-level monster their companion.
If such a person existed, there’s no way we or the Guild Master would be unaware of them.
If they had that much power, they’d undoubtedly be a force to reckon with in conquering Phase Six Dungeons.
And besides, they’re attacking ‘New Tokyo’ residents in the middle of moving, so they’re definitely not our allies.
”Yeah… and then, after I was defeated, that guy came down and went to where Aina-chan was, who had been unable to move after using Dungeon Energy Mastery⁴… ‘A beautiful girl with black pigtails and glasses, is this the one my little brother was talking about?’… saying that, he took Aina-chan away…”
”…That guy knew about Aina-chan… No, does that mean his little brother knew about her…? Just who on earth is that guy?”
”I don’t know… ah, but… I’m sure at the end he said… ‘From now on, this world belongs to us three brothers, the ‘KSK Three’⁵‘…”
”‘KSK Three’…? That’s a group I’ve never even heard of, but based on that comment, I suppose they’re an antisocial group…”
It’s unfortunate, but even in a situation where humanity is facing extinction, people haven’t been able to unite completely to face the crisis.
If it were just that they don’t cooperate, that might be one thing, but there are actually antisocial groups trying to steal the wealth of the Dungeon City ‘New Tokyo’ that we worked so hard to build.
Such guys live in hiding, building simple bandit-like hideouts in Phase Two Dungeons, and we ‘Resonant Melody’ have even received requests to clear them out in the past.
But I’ve never heard of a group called ‘KSK Three’ until now.
”…The Guild Master might know something. I’m worried about Aina-chan, but the Black Dragon is gone, and the chances of catching them by chasing after them right now are low. We have no choice but to have the rest of everyone evacuate to Korakuen Dungeon for now, and then set out to search for Aina-chan.”
”Got it. Let’s finish this as quickly as possible. I’ll help with the security for the group in front, too!”
Maria-san stood up as she said this.
While I wanted to tell her not to push herself while injured, I knew better than anyone that Maria-san isn’t the type to just stay idle.
”…Is your body okay now?”
”Yeah, it wasn’t a major injury, and it seems to be fine with just a potion!”
”Understood. Then let’s finish the move quickly, and then go save Aina-chan!”
”Yeah!”
Maria-san shouldered her Greatsword, which had been dropped nearby, and returned to guarding the front group.
I also dashed back to the rear to return to the Guild Master, who was acting as the rearguard.
I began to discuss with the Guild Master about the kidnapped Aina-chan and how to deal with the mysterious group ‘KSK Three’.

• Mana – Kanade is a serious, bespectacled A-Rank explorer with a black ponytail, serving as a Resonant Melody sub-leader, Four Heavenly Kings member, and primary combat force. This calm administrator acts as an elder sister to others but shoots jealous glares at the narrator, her intimate partner. She manages dungeon conquests alongside her close ally Mana, a skilled combatant who can one-shot Phase Three monsters.
• Aina – A serious, polite, and beautiful girl with glasses, black pigtails (twin chest braids), and a striking resemblance to Mana. Beneath her neat appearance and soft, supple physique, she has thick pubic hair, revealed during a medical exam. A Sage class Rare Job holder who underwent rapid growth via pressure point techniques, she deeply admires Mana and trains under her and Kanade, but has been captured by the KSK Three.
• Guild Master – Mayor of ‘New Tokyo’ and former S-Rank Explorer, this authoritative, artificially created woman of androgynous beauty features curled red hair, a muscular build, sharp eyes, and a wild smile. A serious, formidable warrior who fled a deity-destroyed world, she can fight Phase Five Monsters. She protects locals by managing the Dungeon City, overseeing requests, and co-strategizing with Kanade.
• Master – An artificially created, androgynous-beautied woman and former S-Class Dungeon Explorer who now holds the title of guild leader and Master of a hyper-advanced dungeon. Originating from a world destroyed by a deity, she administers the dungeon for locals, oversees strategic planning for the city’s future, and manages the utilization of unique dungeon materials.
• Guild – A male Guild Master who leads the administration of the dungeon city New Tokyo. He is serious and focused on the survival and relocation of the populace.
• Dungeon – An artificially‑created, androgynous‑beautied woman, once an S‑Class Dungeon Explorer, now serves as the Guild Master of the Dungeon Explorer Guild. She administers a hyper‑advanced dungeon, leading and guiding its members, and is known as the Dungeon Master, wielding authority that shifts with each dungeon phase, her beaming smile a constant hallmark.
