The business negotiations with Nada-san, a guest from the Southern Continent, were decided for now to be “considered positively.” This was not just a convenient excuse for refusal like in my previous world, but meant literally.

The first place we headed was the top of the city wall that surrounds the town of Canarias. I thought it was boring to always go to the Northwest Park. This place connected directly from the royal palace, and it was also significant that we could visit it safely without going out into the town.
”That mountain in the north was once inhabited by an evil dragon. This town, and this country, were born when it was subjugated.”

”If you go around and head north, after passing several territories, there is the Coalmine Kingdom. • Merluza – The Captain of the Royal Guard is a veteran Lion Beast-person soldier with dull yellow hair, large feline ears, armor, and a large scar over her right eye. Currently occupied with palace security and administration, she vouches for the effectiveness of the ‘Tremble Ddo-Buddy’ (‘Bob’), which ensures female beast-person soldiers’ job performance isn’t compromised by their ‘heat’.

• Cecile – The Queen of Canaria is a regal ruler with long golden hair and an elegant presence, wearing luxurious formal gowns. Tasked with managing the royal palace, she oversees complex diplomacy with neighboring empires and enforces moral order in commerce. She is currently investigating Kento’s shop, ‘Harvest,’ wielding her wisdom and sovereign grace to command authority with quiet precision.
• Roland – The younger brother and prince to Queen Cecile and the King of Ferguson, this heir to the Canaria throne sports clean golden-blonde hair and an innocent, delicate face often mistaken for a girl, despite his formal boy’s attire. Close to Unia, he also once participated in a Social Studies Field Trip led by Harvest.
• Harvest – Kento Harvest, a gaunt, titled Viscount and former Canarias forest adventurer, is a calculating merchant who runs an adult magic-circuit shop and serves as a kingdom informant/guide for guests. Currently, he is desperately seeking a solution to his marital issues, deeply troubled by his wife’s relationship with a succubus.
• Schueri – An elegant, slender Sylvaol diplomat with white skin and shoulder-length hair, she serves as Nada’s lead retainer. Formerly a royal instructor with deep knowledge of the palace and Coalmine Kingdom, she brings an intelligent demeanor to her role as a mediator, interpreter, and logistics manager. Fluent in continental and Southern languages, she hides a secret curiosity for adult merchandise.
• Ierse – Lively, brilliant, and heavily pregnant, this mastermind is the Crown Princess and high-ranking Lord of the Coalmine Kingdom, formerly of Sylvaol. Radiating unique charm with her long hair, she maintains a healthy, powerhouse presence while tirelessly working to support and cheer up her husband, Gilliam, as they await the birth of their heir.
