Sona Sitri found the effects of the Soul Contract extremely tempting, and the idea of forming a true master-servant bond with Aki appealed to her just as much.
Even so, after giving the matter serious thought, the Student Council President ultimately declined and chose to postpone the Contract.
It was not because she feared rumors or worried that someone might uncover the truth behind the Contract. Rather, she felt that her relationship with Aki had not yet reached the same depth as Rias’s. More importantly, for the sake of her clan and her older sister, one of the Four Great Satans, she had to proceed with caution.
Unlike Sirzechs, Serafall Leviathan had never outgrown her obsession with Sona. Even after ascending to the rank of Demon King, she remained as hopelessly devoted to her little sister as ever, regularly rambling about crossing forbidden lines and indulging in increasingly outrageous fantasies. If Sona signed a Soul Contract with Aki and Serafall learned about it, the aftermath would be nothing short of disastrous.
While Sona had her reservations, Tsubaki Shinra faced no such concerns.
Since Akeno Himejima and Raynare—now going by Amano Yuuma—had already proven that multiple Contracts could coexist without conflict, Sona calmly suggested, “Tsubaki, why don’t you sign a Contract with Aki next month instead?”
Tsubaki’s beautiful, composed face remained as expressionless as ever, yet the faint color rising in her cheeks gave her away. It had been quite some time since her last dual cultivation session with Aki. Back then, he had still been relatively innocent, untouched by the chaos of expanding relationships, and their time together had felt surprisingly pure.
Now, however, the next full moon was approaching, and she knew perfectly well that she would not be the only participant.
The thought alone left the usually unshakable vice president flustered.
Noticing the shift in Sona’s attitude, Aki quietly let out a breath of relief. Her anger had finally faded, and judging from Tsubaki’s reaction, everything seemed fine on her side as well.
When he thought about it, Tsubaki had been the very first girl from the DxD world whom he had successfully pursued, which gave her a special place in his heart. She had also brought him more than a little good fortune. Beyond her Mirror Reflection talent and devil bloodline, she had contributed valuable kendo techniques that had strengthened him considerably in the early days.
Unfortunately, his growth had become so explosive that those early advantages no longer stood out.
Realizing he had not paid much attention to her recently and that her strength had remained stuck at the peak of A-rank, Aki felt a genuine pang of guilt. Silently promising to make it up to her soon, he finally explained the real reason for his visit.
Having vented her frustrations, Sona had already returned to her usual calm self.
”The Student Council has also been investigating the vampire incidents.”
She pulled several documents from a stack and adjusted the glasses resting on her nose.
”Coincidentally, we’ve been short-handed lately. Since you’re already looking into the matter, I’ll leave it entirely to you.”
Aki stared at her for a moment.
No wonder you and Rias get along so well. The two of you use exactly the same tactics.
The slight curve of Sona’s lips suggested she had read his thoughts.
”You are a member of the Student Council,” she replied. “Consider this compensation for your recent absenteeism.”
”Yes, yes, Madam President.”
Accepting the files, Aki began reviewing them. Since he had already agreed to investigate on Rias’s behalf, taking on Sona’s request changed very little. If anything, he was handling the case regardless, so agreeing to both girls simply felt like a bonus.
As he worked through the documents, his expression gradually became more serious.
The files contained a detailed timeline of the recent incidents along with a registry of every vampire currently enrolled at Kuoh Academy.
Compared to Angels, Devils, Fallen Angels, and Youkai, vampires were relatively rare in this world. Their poor reputation among most factions left them in an awkward position, and only three registered vampires attended Kuoh Academy’s High School Division.
One familiar name immediately caught Aki’s attention.
Nanao Tachibana, Class 2-C.
Height: 154 cm. Weight: 41 kg. Gender: Male.
The accompanying photograph showed a student with short pale-blond hair, ruby-red eyes, and an unusually delicate face. Combined with his small frame, he looked every bit the fragile, beautiful boy.
As one of the primary suspects, Nanao had already undergone extensive scrutiny. The Student Council’s inability to uncover anything suspicious had effectively cleared him.
For now, Aki decided to respect Nanao’s current presentation and continue referring to him as male. His situation had clearly not stabilized yet, and there was no reason to make assumptions.
The other two registered vampires had also been ruled out. Even while all three remained under surveillance, new victims continued to appear.
So Nanao really is in Class C…
The detail matched his memories perfectly. Quiet, withdrawn, and almost invisible, Nanao had spent all this time only a classroom away without ever drawing Aki’s attention.
Still, Aki chose not to approach him immediately. Given Nanao’s past trauma, a poor first impression could make future interactions far more difficult.
That left another possibility.
The biggest suspect in Aki’s mind was a certain crossdressing femboy. Just because the boy was not listed among the registered vampires did not mean he was absent from Kuoh Academy. The Student Council’s registry relied on self-reported information, and not everyone was eager to disclose their supernatural heritage.
”Tsk. It’s a pity I cannot remember that femboy’s name.”
If he could recall it, searching the student records would be simple.
His memories of High School DxD and The Testament of Sister New Devil remained sharp when it came to the early story arcs. The later seasons, however, blurred together beneath an avalanche of uncensored fan service. After enough exposure to pale skin and overwhelming curves, remembering minor plot details became surprisingly difficult.
Fortunately, he still retained a vague impression.
”President, I’m looking for someone. A boy with short blond hair, slightly pointed ears, a delicate face, and a slender build.”
Sona tilted her head.
”Is this person connected to the incidents?”
”I cannot say for certain.”
Although he suspected the individual, his memories suggested the boy was not actually a vampire and had no interest in drinking blood. At the same time, Aki had no better explanation for the incidents.
The Student Council’s investigation painted a far clearer picture than the rumors circulating through the school. None of the victims had suffered life-threatening injuries, but all showed signs of severe blood loss. Stranger still, no wounds appeared anywhere on their bodies.
Not a single puncture mark could be found.
The only clear pattern was that every victim happened to be exceptionally well-endowed. Their sensitive chest areas showed visible redness, as though something had repeatedly fed there.
Draining blood—or perhaps energy—directly from the breasts… What an envious—no, disgusting… no, deeply wicked crime.
Sona wisely chose not to question how Aki knew so much.
Before long, the rest of the Student Council arrived. Acting immediately, Sona ordered her servants to compare Aki’s description against the entire student roster.
The search progressed quickly. As Devils, their senses and processing abilities far exceeded those of ordinary humans, and within a short time several matching profiles had been gathered.
Only five students met even part of the criteria.
Most were imperfect matches, but one profile stood out immediately.
”Gasper Vladi, Class 1-F. Height: 150 cm. Weight: 40 kg. Gender: Female…”
Aki recognized the target at once.
The problem was the word Female.
The name and photograph matched his memories perfectly, yet the gender listed on the file left him momentarily speechless.
Do not tell me this version of the world turned the crossdressing femboy into an actual girl.
”Aki, is this the person?” Tsubaki asked. “I thought you were looking for a boy.”
While sorting through the files earlier, she had nearly discarded the profile because of the gender classification. In the end, the physical description matched too well to ignore.
”It should be hi… her…”
The correction felt awkward even as it left his mouth.
At this point, there was only one solution.
He needed to see Gasper in person.
If Gasper could conceal vampire heritage from the school, concealing biological sex would hardly be impossible. Besides, if this timeline had truly transformed Gasper into a girl, Aki found that possibility surprisingly appealing.
According to the records, Gasper was enrolled as an ordinary student. With so many foreign students attending Kuoh Academy, nothing about the profile attracted special attention.
Using the authority of the Student Council, Aki approached Class 1-F’s guidance counselor in search of more information.
Since the class consisted entirely of ordinary students and human faculty, invoking the Student Council’s name proved far more practical than trying to rely on Rias’s influence.

• Rias – An elegant, voluptuous SS+ rank Gremory devil heiress, Occult Research Club President, and authoritative de facto ruler of Kuoh Academy. Refined yet cunning, Sirzechs’ sister and Sona Sitri’s close friend commands her peerage from a villa. Wielding destruction mana, she navigates a forced marriage to Riser, a soul-bound bond with Aki—whom she tasks with investigating vampire incidents—and provides mentorship.
• Leviathan – The title held by Serafall after becoming a Demon King.
• Serafall – The sister of Sona Sitri and one of the Four Great Satans. She is known for her extreme sister-complex personality.
• Sirzechs – Sirzechs Gremory, the powerful, red-haired Demon King and Lucifer-class Devil, holds immense political and combat authority. Older brother to Rias, he serves as a stern, focused arena observer for the Rating Game. He commands a regal appearance while navigating complex relationships with allies and rivals, manipulating events for his family’s benefit while maintaining an ambiguous political stance.
• Tsubaki – Shinra Tsubaki, Sona’s Queen and Student Council VP, is a stoic, bespectacled beauty with black wings. Intellectual and composed, she masks a vulnerable side with a playful, jealous devotion. As Sousuke’s wife and Sakura’s mother, she is deeply maternal. A dedicated peerage member who monitors Rating Games, she links Aki to the council and has previously engaged in dual cultivation with him.
• Shinra – Shinra Tsubaki, a refined middle-class reincarnated devil with dark-blue hair, is the Student Council Vice President who assists her childhood friend and Queen, Sona Sitri, with administrative duties. As an A-rank Demon Bloodline peerage member with Mirror Reflection talent, her mana surged after meeting Aki, becoming a loyal ally who also helps manage and display combat feeds.

• Amano Yuuma – Yuuma Amano is the alias of Raynare, a Fallen Angel disguised as a school uniform-wearing transfer student with a pure, innocent face, a devilish, slender figure, long black hair, and black wings. She serves in Rias’s Peerage, the ORC, and a barrier maintenance team. Possessive, assertive, and proactive, she takes the lead in training her partner Aki, with whom she desires intimacy.
• Himejima – Akeno Himejima is a tall, curvaceous Kuoh Academy senior and high-ranking Occult Research Club member. A loyal Devil retainer in Rias Gremory’s peerage, this mature beauty with long black hair balances a sadistic, queen-like persona with a poised, teasing demeanor. She wields golden lightning, manages magic, shares deep bonds with Rias, and guides Aki, blending refined grace with power.
• Raynare – Lady Raynare, alias Amano Yuuma (or simply Yuuma), is a voluptuous, dark-haired former Fallen Angel training under Rias at the Occult Research Club. Shifting between an innocent schoolgirl guise and her true nature, she is contracted to her mentee, Aki, boosting her combat strength to high-end S-Rank, though she still struggles to fully integrate as a cohesive peerage member.
• Akeno – Himejima is a tall, voluptuous raven-haired Orc-devil shrine maiden with red eyes, a high ponytail, and dark wings. Rias Gremory’s fiercely loyal S+ rank Vice-President and Queen, this elegant, playful older student handles administration. Known as the “Priestess of Thunder,” she uses lightning in combat. She is Aki’s soul-bound contract partner who previously signed with him and longs for his attention.
• Amano – Raynare, a fallen angel masquerading as Kuoh schoolgirl Yuma Amano, is a striking, long-haired woman with a commanding presence. An Occult Research Club member with a history of betrayal, she acts as a disciplined leader and mentor linked to past experiences. Despite her A-Rank status with Aki, a black-belly nature, and instant-change powers, she hides her faction ties, guilt, and fear of abandonment.
• Yuuma – Amano Yuuma (Raynare) is a striking, curvaceous former fallen angel and Grigori operative with long black hair and violet eyes. Reincarnated as a high-class devil and light magic master, she now serves as a devoted Pawn in Aki’s peerage, bound by a profound soul contract. Known for her playful teasing, she serves Aki with an obsessive, fierce devotion born from their past contractual history.
• Y – The first initial/part of the name Y Ddraig Goch.
• Tachibana – Carrying the family name Nao, this mixed-blood vampire is immune to sunlight and can shift gender until adulthood. Initially suspected in the vampire incidents but since cleared, they are currently targeted by Aki for a soul contract.
• Nanao – A student manager of the baseball club at Kuoh Academy, identified as a target for Aki’s attention. A schoolgirl with short, peach-pink hair and a tall, voluptuous physique. She serves as the manager of the baseball club and is initially perceived as having a strong, resilient personality, though she demonstrates significant vulnerability and submissiveness in private. She wears black long stockings.
• Gasper – A timid, short-haired blonde Class 1-F student under Aki’s monitoring for Rias’s peerage. This half-human, half-vampire hybrid cross-dresses in girl’s clothing due to anxiety and to avoid persecution, possessing a delicate, feminine face. Initially a shut-in struggling to adjust to high school life, he wields the Forbidden Balor View, a powerful Evil Eye Sacred Gear capable of freezing time.
