Chapter 266 Prelude to Negotiation

Edited by: Kanaa-senpai

The maiden teetered on the precipice of rapture, her breath coming in shallow, shuddering gasps. “M-mm… it’s so intense… it feels like I’m dying… more, deeper… ah… yes, Master…”

Aki’s hands tightened, driving his iron resolve into her with renewed vigor, sending fresh waves of exquisite sensation crashing through her frame.

After several relentless thrusts, Rii succumbed to her climax. She collapsed against his chest, her alabaster arms winding tightly around his neck as she buried her flushed face into his shoulder, her delicate body trembling beyond her control.

With her tight, inner heat contracting and milking him with a rhythmic hunger, Aki let out a low, guttural growl. He surged forward, burying himself to the hilt, claiming the deepest reaches of her sanctuary.

A moment later, thick, warm tides of his vitality surged forth, pulsing rhythmically until her lower abdomen felt heavy and overflowing with his essence.

After a lingering three minutes, Aki shifted his hips, squeezing the final remnants into her before withdrawing to prepare for his next patient.

 …

 …

The following morning. Student Council Room.

Rias, Sona Sitri, and Aki sat gathered around the conference table.

”Sona, Aki,” Rias said, laying out a piece of weathered parchment. “I received word from Grayfia early this morning. The time and place for the Three Factions Talk have been set.”

Sona Sitri offered a subtle nod, not reaching for the document. “I understand. I’ll take care of it,” she said, her voice composed. As the next head of the Sitri family and the younger sister of one of the Four Great Satans, she had already been privy to the intelligence.

”Demon King Sirzechs Lucifer and Demon King Leviathan will both be in attendance,” Rias continued. She pushed her glasses up, her gaze shifting to Aki. “They have also extended an invitation to the Red Dragon Emperor…”

”I’ll be going,” Rias interjected before Aki could speak. “And it won’t just be me. Akeno and the others will accompany us.”

Sona Sitri nodded. “I understand. I’ll take care of it, though I will only be bringing Tsubaki.”

Aki scanned the parchment. Beyond the location, it detailed the date: three days from now.

With the leaders of the Three Factions gathered in one place, every warmongering conspirator in the world would be salivating at the opportunity. The chosen venue was the mountain villa where Aki had conducted his special training—a remote, secluded site with full facilities, perfect for a high-stakes negotiation.

As the “host,” it was vital that Rias make preparations, and bringing her peerage was a necessary security measure. Though, in Aki’s estimation, if the top powerhouses of the three factions couldn’t handle an incoming threat, Akeno and the others would serve little more than window dressing. Still, formalities were formalities.

”The protagonists of this summit aren’t just the Three Factions,” Sona remarked, eyes locking onto Aki. “The Red Dragon Emperor and the White Dragon Emperor are the true focal points. How much do you know about them?”

”I understand. I’ll take care of it,” Aki replied with a shrug.

In his original memories, the White Dragon Emperor hadn’t emerged until much later, but the butterfly effect of his presence had accelerated the timeline significantly. Azazel was already dust, and the world had veered onto a completely different trajectory.

”They are sworn enemies,” Rias warned, aware of the nature of Aki’s connection to his counterpart. “And rumor has it that this generation’s White Dragon Emperor has fully mastered his Sacred Gear’s Balance Breaker. Furthermore, he is aligned with the Fallen Angels. As long as you possess the Boosted Gear, he will always view you as his target.”

”I understand. I’ll take care of it,” Aki said. “I never underestimate an opponent.”

Aki had no desire to discuss the White Dragon Emperor further. The moment he decided to seize the Boosted Gear and reduce Hyoudou Issei to a commoner, he had accepted the weight of the fate that came with it. He wasn’t about to rely on hazy, pre-existing memories anymore; he was actively discarding them.

”Buchou, who exactly is attending this summit?” Aki asked.

”Governor-General Shemhaza of the Fallen Angels, and Michael, one of the four Archangels of Heaven,” Rias listed. “Along with Demon Kings Sirzechs Lucifer and Leviathan.”

”Why are two Demon Kings being dispatched from the Underworld?” Aki asked, frowning. “And the other representatives seem… less authoritative. Shouldn’t Heaven be sending a supreme deity?”

”It’s a complicated matter,” Rias sighed, rubbing her temples. “Sona, perhaps you could explain the situation to Aki? I have business to attend to back at the clubroom.”

Sona Sitri nodded, then glanced at Rias with a hint of curiosity. “Is something going on at the clubroom?”

”Hm? Oh… nothing urgent. Just something that needs resolving before it becomes a nuisance.”

As she spoke, Rias shot a pointed glare at Aki. He promptly turned his head, feigning ignorance.

He’d spent the entire night exhausted, finishing up just before dawn. He’d undergone several cycles of ‘treatment’ and had even left the four girls with a belly full of extra ‘medicine’ to slowly digest. The lounge was in absolute shambles, and despite the open windows, the lingering scent was enough to permeate the entire building. Since the girls were still unconscious, he hadn’t bothered to clean up.

Judging by Rias’s tone, she had clearly stumbled upon the scene.

 ”Ahem, Sona-kaichou, about that…”

Once Rias departed, Aki cleared his throat, eager to pry into the secrets of the world’s power structure.

Sona Sitri tilted her head, pondering for a moment before deciding to start from the beginning. As one of the Four Great Devil families, the Sitri archives were an unbroken chain of history.

In the beginning, when the world was naught but chaos, a generation of primordial gods was born. These beings were unimaginably powerful but possessed the simple, capricious minds of children. They acted on whim, their frictions often escalating into world-shaking battles.

These primordial gods could not reproduce; when they died, they simply returned to the source of the world. As they faded, the Three Realms stabilized, and new life began to flourish.

The survivors, however, grew cunning. They formed factions—one calling themselves ‘God,’ the other the ‘Demon Kings.’ They sought the total annihilation of the other. Lacking the numbers to decide the war themselves, they turned their eyes toward the newly born intelligent species.

Thus, the God-faction and the Demon-kind were born. Under the guidance of the gods, the two sides waged a protracted, devastating war. Yet, as the generations passed and these mortal races grew, they reached a threshold of power that nearly touched the gods themselves.

Eventually, the primordial gods were undone by the very conspiracies they had nurtured. They returned to the source, but the war they started did not end. It only intensified.

The God-faction was eventually ground to dust, and the Ancient Devils were left hanging by a thread. From the ashes, the new Four Great Satans emerged in the Underworld, while Heaven fractured into three—the Angels, the Fallen Angels, and the Ten Core Gods.

The Ten Core Gods, descendants of the original God-faction, remained powerful but were viewed with suspicion by all sides, forced to live out their days in a corner of Heaven.

The hatred between the Angels, Fallen Angels, and the Four Great Satans continued to burn, leading to the Three-Race War.

”The Devils might appear the strongest,” Sona concluded. “But they are riddled with internal fractures. The Angels and Fallen Angels, by comparison, are unified under clear leadership. The Underworld requires at least two Demon Kings to properly represent our interests.”

 —

 Trivia:

The summit is held at the same mountain villa used for Aki’s special training.

Aki is actively trying to rewrite his path by discarding his reliance on pre-existing memories.

The Ten Core Gods, descendants of the primordial God-faction, are ostracized in a corner of Heaven.

The Underworld’s internal structure is noted as being weaker than the other factions due to divided leadership.
