On his way back, Aki passed a small park. He heard faint cries for help from inside.
At the same time, he felt his Mana move inside him. A strange feeling rose up from the bottom of his heart.
It was a pitch-black night. Deep in a quiet grove of trees, a group of Thugs covered the mouths of two women. The women wore very revealing outfits. To the side lay a man in a crisp suit.
It looked like he had been knocked out. One lens of his glasses was even shattered.
Aki did not try to hide his presence or his footsteps. When the two women saw him, hope flickered in their eyes. They were quite pretty, even with their heavy makeup.
The Thugs were surprised at first. But that quickly changed to impatience.
”I was wondering who it was,” one Thug sneered. His tone was rough and angry. “Turns out it’s just another pretty boy.”
”Hey, we’re busy right now,” another shouted. “Get lost if you don’t want to die.”
”Oh right,” the first added with a nasty smirk. “Leave your wallet before you go.”
The group split into two. They laughed arrogantly and shot mean glares at Aki.
Aki stopped walking. His brow furrowed.
Honestly, he had grown a lot over the past year. Even though his face still looked refined and his build was not very muscular, these Thugs should not treat him like an easy target.
His earlier feeling was right. Demon King-class strength was not enough to fix the Bitter Parent Template1. He needed God-tier strength to get rid of this halo. It brought far more problems than benefits.
Aki stayed silent. He did not even pull out a Cell phone to call the police. Because of this, the hope in the two women’s eyes slowly turned to despair.
On the other hand, the Thugs became more and more excited.
They had run into a Shura Field2 scene in the middle of the night. They had already taken care of the guy with glasses. Now, they were helping him fix his messy love life by accident.
Who would have thought another pretty boy would show up before the main event even started?
It was a shame they would not see the two beauties again. But this pretty boy sure to have women around him. They could try to use that.
The more they stared at Aki, the more ideas popped into their heads. The two women suddenly seemed less important to them.
It felt like a voice deep inside them was whispering. It said this pretty boy could bring them much better rewards than those women.
”Hey, with you…” one Thug drawled. He closed in with a threatening walk.
One of the Thugs had already gotten close enough to reach Aki. But the moment he reached out to grab Aki’s shoulder, he suddenly fell to the ground. He instantly went quiet.
This sight startled the other Thugs. But their first scare quickly turned into anger.
”The hell you doin’!” a Thug roared. His voice shook with anger. “Stand still and behave!”
Yuuto had just messed with Aki’s mind. Now the Bitter Parent Template was bothering him too. He really was not in the mood to waste time with these Thugs.
With a gentle shake of Demon King-class Mana, the whole group of Thugs turned into fine powder in an instant.
A cool night breeze blew by. It blew away the last traces of their existence.
Aki did not enjoy killing people for no reason. His attack had carefully avoided the man with glasses and the two women.
Under normal conditions, he might not have acted so harshly. He would not wipe everyone out over a simple argument.
But this group of Thugs had decided to act like tough guys in front of him. And they were not even good at it.
It felt like an insult. It was disgusting.
The two women were stunned. Their clothes were messy, but their makeup was still perfect. Their large eyes stared blankly at Aki. They could not understand what had just happened.
Aki had no intention of explaining. He made sure all three were ordinary humans. Then, he used Mental magic to wipe away the last part of the women’s memories. He replaced it with a new memory. In it, a passerby called the police, and the Police arrived to save them.
After changing their memories, the two women fainted. They followed the man with glasses into unconsciousness.
Aki placed the three of them together. He took out his Cell phone to call the police. He could not just leave them here. Who knew how many other bad people might pass by?
Japan had Police patrolling the streets at night. He would not have to wait too long.
With that free time, Aki had nothing else to do. Out of boredom, he began to look at these three unhappy “children.”
The pitch-black night did not block Aki’s vision at all. Besides, there was a streetlamp nearby. It gave off a faint white light.
After watching for a while, Aki felt these two women looked familiar. They were from a memory about something called White Album. Or was it White Album? Whatever, that was not important.
They seemed to be the heroines from that story. But their ages did not match.
These two women were at least thirty-something. No matter how good their makeup was, they could not hide from Aki’s sharp eyes. He had learned a lot after dealing with so many women.
Aki looked at the man with glasses again. He looked a lot like the male lead from his memories. Again, he was quite a bit older.
Aki had not expected their “White Study” to continue well into middle age. He hoped they would not continue their messy love life in their dreams.
Just then, he heard the sound of a bicycle. It must be the patrolling Police.
Aki shrugged and ducked into the shadows. Once he confirmed it was the Police, he turned and left without hesitation.
As for whether those three were the masters of that White Study, he could not care less.
This chaotic world was just like that. Aki had long since gotten used to it.

After a night of Cultivation (training mind and body), Aki’s mindset returned to normal.
The Bitter Parent Template could only disgust him now. But just in case, he decided to hurry up and get stronger.

”Uh….”
Aki turned his head and lowered his voice. “It’s nothing. I just wanted to say we should use our old names in front of outsiders.”
Hyoudou Issei was a blabbermouth. If he heard how Aki and Yuuto addressed each other, the whole school would know. They would not even have to wait for the start of the semester.
Yuuto froze for a second. But this time, she did not make a scene. She agreed with clear understanding.
Hyoudou Issei was indeed a megaphone. Otherwise, she would not have learned about the Holy sword users so quickly.
Irina and Hyoudou Issei were childhood friends. Since she had returned, it was only natural to pay him a visit.
Suddenly having two Schoolgirls appear in the house had left Hyoudou Issei very surprised. He was even more surprised when he found out his childhood playmate was actually a girl.
Then he started his wild fantasies. After that, he began showing them off everywhere.
The first people he showed off to were the Pervert Trio. Then he told the other single boys at Kuoh Academy.
Yuuto was popular with girls. But she was clearly and always single.

By the time Yuuto got the news, Irina had only been at Hyoudou Issei’s house for half a day.
”Yeah, Kiba,” Aki said.
Once they changed how they addressed each other, Aki immediately felt much more relaxed.
”I’ll handle the conversation next. If those two girls using the Holy sword appear, don’t get excited yet.”
”Understood,” Yuuto said. Her voice stayed calm. “I shall endeavor to maintain my composure.”
”Not just endeavor—you must,” Aki insisted. He gave her a steady look. “The Three Factions have already signed a peace treaty. Everything can be discussed. The same goes for the Holy sword.”
Yuuto lowered her head. Her mood dimmed, but in the end, she gave her assurance.
If she were the one to strike first, she was breaking the rules. To put it bluntly, she was showing no respect for the leaders of the Three Factions.
Of course, signing a peace Contract (a magic peace agreement) did not mean one could not strike. It meant doing so had to be reasonable and justified.
As long as you had a valid reason, the other side could only grit their teeth and pretend not to notice. They would just hope you would not blow the matter out of proportion.
Signing the peace Contract meant replacing fists with logic.
Destroying the Holy sword did not require violent force. If they handled things well, the Church might even thank them for destroying it.
Aki still trusted Yuuto’s character. Since she had agreed, she could do it.
Still, he offered a bit of comfort. “Kiba, don’t worry. I’m here.”
It was just the Holy sword, right? Even in that messy original timeline, Yuuto had understood and accepted Xenovia and Irina using the Holy sword. Changing that to the present should not be any harder.
Just helping her return to her female form was enough. Then they would save that childhood friend who had faked his death. At that point, she should be Kiba Yūto again.
After a series of steps like that, Aki could pull the blonde, big-breasted Yūto for a few sessions of Dual Cultivation (training magic together). How could she not accept the Holy sword then?
Forget just accepting it. She might even awaken a Sacred Gear (a special magic power) that could create Holy swords. Just like in the original timeline.
