A few moments later, the huge monster was completely ash. Nothing — not even a piece — was left, let alone a core.
Sensing the space-flickers growing shaky, Aki saw no point in staying and left.
Back home, Zest sat in the living room, looking stiff.
Seeing the rabbit-ear girl so well-behaved, Aki decided to take her in and give her the Knight piece.
The status of artificial lifeforms in the Underworld was awkward, even if Zest was not much different from an ordinary Devil, except for having a less pure bloodline.
Once Reincarnated with Evil Pieces, though, her status problem would be solved.
Humans, Fallen Angels, and Nekoshou all become Devils after Reincarnation, so an artificial lifeform was no problem.
But before doing the Reincarnation ritual, there were other things to handle first.
With Zolgear dead, Himejima Akeno would report it to the Underworld.
Then there was the issue about the Ras and the Naruse parents.
Since Zolgear was dead, the Naruse parents no longer needed to hide, and Ras no longer needed to fear being hunted.
After some talk, the Naruse parents chose to go back to the Underworld — to the place they had left — to pick up their old lives.
The Three-Way War might have stopped, but there were still plenty of orphans.
Without a Demon King’s backing, they might not save many, but they wanted to try their best.
The two had thought about returning to the Human World, but Naruse Mio already knew about her own roots.
They trusted Mio wouldn’t mind, but what about everyone else?
Besides, they realized Mio had gotten used to her current life and didn’t want to mess it up.
Ras, who had been struggling with what to do, saw the parents’ determination to return to the Underworld and decided to go with them.
After seeing the three off, Aki was pulled by Maria to meet Shela and Lucia.
He had met the Succubus mother and daughter not long ago, but time had been short, and he’d only glanced at them.
Looking closely now, Aki saw that Maria was a perfect copy of her mother, Shela.
The former Succubus Queen might have been short and cute, but her voice was incredibly charming, and her every move gave off a shocking charm.
Shela wasn’t trying to seduce him; it was just in her blood — her natural state.
She was currently in loli form, but if she were to change into a long-legged, big-busted, white-haired beauty like Maria, Aki figured his heart would be pounding too.
Hmm, actually, just meeting those glistening, alluring eyes was enough to make him want to do something.
Lucia, meanwhile, seemed cold next to Maria and Shela, and her figure was nothing special — neither loli-cute nor curvy.
At a glance, she gave off a cold vibe, not looking like a Succubus at all.
She was respectful and much gentler to Aki, her savior.
But Aki couldn’t shake the feeling that something was off; her personality seemed very different from her mother and sister’s.
Aki didn’t think too much about it — no one had made a rule that a Succubus couldn’t be cold.
There were too many strange things and people in this world; one more cold-natured Succubus didn’t seem like such a stretch.
With Maria leading the talk, the conversation went quite well. Shela didn’t mind the unclear relationship between Maria and Aki at all; in fact, there was a smile in her eyes.
Lucia seemed to want to say something, but Shela stopped her.
Finally, after arranging for Shela and Lucia to stay there for now, Aki left.
Calming the restless fire in his heart and pushing down his wicked thoughts, Aki went to find Rias.
He had to mention recruiting Zest into his Peerage, and then there was the matter of getting rid of the bio-making tech and the papers on mixing science and magic that he had saved from Zolgear.
Aki had no interest in these things, and they were useless in his hands — better to give them to those who could actually use them.
Whether the Gremory house kept these materials for their own research or used them for trade, they would surely find value in them.
When Rias saw the materials, her look was one of happy surprise.
If she didn’t have other things to handle, she would have dragged Aki back to her room to properly “reward” him.
Whether that reward was for Aki or for herself, though, was up for debate.
Having had his fire stirred up again by Rias, Aki licked his slightly dry lips and went to find Zest.
The big-busted rabbit-ear girl agreed to be Reincarnated into his Peerage almost right away, without a moment’s pause.
Aki didn’t have the ability to check her thoughts or feelings, so after the ritual was done, he asked out of curiosity: “Did you never think about getting your freedom and seeing the world on your own?”
”If you want to leave, I will let you go.”
”No, I want to be your servant.”
The rabbit-ear girl’s pale face turned red, a blush that even her darker skin couldn’t hide.
She said shyly, “I envy the relationship that Naruse Mio and the others have with you. Besides, I’m all alone now; I don’t know what else I would do.”
Zest had been born to follow Zolgear’s orders. With him dead, she felt lost.
If left to act on her own will, she wouldn’t even know what her own existence meant.
The rabbit-ear girl looked lively, but in truth, she was the submissive type, and a bit of a ditz.
It was exactly because of this personality that Zolgear knew she would never betray him, no matter how unhappy she might be.
That was why, out of all the ‘Zests’ he had made, she was the only one he kept by his side.
Aki narrowed his eyes, making the big-busted rabbit-ear girl feel very uncomfortable before he said, “Envy what? Do you really think my relationship with Mio and the others is just a normal master-servant one?”
”Ah?”
Zest didn’t quite get what he meant, her big eyes looking at Aki with innocent confusion.
”Zolgear was not a good Master, but even a normal master-servant pair wouldn’t have the kind of bond we have.”
Facing the ditzy, big-busted rabbit-ear girl, Aki felt it was better to be clear.
He didn’t want her assuming he was playing favorites later.
”Rather than master and servant, we are more like lovers.”
He paused, then added: “Of course, I don’t see it as a ‘lover’ relationship.”
As long as that hateful Cuckold Template didn’t vanish completely, he wouldn’t officially recognize any relationship.
Zest thought his words were a bit mixed up, but she nodded obediently, waiting for what he had to say next.
Giving her a side glance, Aki briefly explained his relationship with Rias and the other girls.
Just as Zest was blushing to the point of steaming, he added the bit about his Dual Cultivation Ability.
The rabbit-ear girl had likely never learned anything about the outside world since she was made, and she had no idea about Aki’s background.
Luckily, she understood the basics of the birds and the bees.
”S…so, I also have to do it with you…”
”Ahem, Dual Cultivation.”
Her slender, shapely legs pulled together as she leaned against the edge of the sofa, and Zest obediently changed her words: “I am willing to Dual Cultivate, if it is with you, Aki-Master.”
She was just a humble, pitiful little rabbit-ear girl; having finally met a gentle, kind, powerful, and handsome Master, what more could she ask for?
Though they hadn’t spent much time together — in fact, it had been quite short — putting aside the fact that he had too many women, Zest genuinely felt that Aki was someone she could trust her life to.
”Mm, why don’t you spend these next few days getting used to the place.”
Aki had meant to have Zest serve him tonight, but after a moment’s thought, decided to give her time to adjust.
”As for what you’ll be doing later, I’ll talk that over with Buchou and the others.”
”Understood, Master.”
Zest certainly couldn’t be left to find her own tasks like Yubelluna and the others.
If the rabbit-ear girl had that kind of drive, she wouldn’t have been so stiff and nervous from the start, nor would she have looked so relieved after accepting Aki as her Master.

After dinner, Aki went to the bathroom with Nonaka Yuki.
Enjoying the service of his schoolgirl’s chest-press and back-scrubbing, he looked at the Little Aki standing at attention between his legs and quietly thought about his next move.
The Zolgear matter was finally behind him. Aside from not having told Basara Toujou yet, there didn’t seem to be anything else that needed handling.
Oh, and he still hadn’t learned spirit control or telekinesis magic.
But those things couldn’t be rushed; Dual Cultivation was still, well, Dual Cultivation.
Maria had finally reunited with her family, so she probably wouldn’t have time tonight.
Naruse Mio was out cold the whole time, so maybe tonight would be the night.
Thinking of this, Aki looked up at Nonaka Yuki, who was draped over him, her beautiful eyes misty with emotion, her small mouth gasping for air.

• Himejima – Akeno Himejima is a tall, curvaceous Kuoh Academy senior, high-ranking Devil retainer in Rias Gremory’s peerage, and a powerful Occult Research Club member known for her strength in combat. Bound by a Soul Contract to Aki, she possesses long black hair and a queen-like demeanor. • Akeno – Himejima, a tall, voluptuous Orc-devil shrine maiden with raven hair, red eyes, and dark wings, is the “Priestess of Thunder.” As Rias Gremory’s loyal S+ rank Queen and Vice-President, she gracefully manages administration. Beyond her combat prowess, she is the soul-bound contract partner of Akira, maintaining a deep, affectionate bond with him and constantly longing for his attention.
• Naruse – Mio Naruse is a fair-skinned, red-haired schoolgirl with twin tails and a voluptuous build. An heir to Demon King power and one of the “Sister Flowers,” she is protected by the Gremory household. Initially a hesitant tsundere, she becomes deeply devoted to Aki, accepting his polyamory. She refines her life essence while maintaining vital ties with Maria, Kurumi, and her adoptive parents.
• Ras – An SS-Rank Doll Master and former orphan raised by the Naruses, this elegant, white-masked magic user serves as Zolgear’s trusted subordinate and infiltrator. Though he acted as a double agent for years, his complex ties to his childhood idols ultimately led him to return to the Underworld with the Naruse parents, abandoning his role as a pawn to guide Aki through the enemy base.
• Naruse Mio – A supporter and cheerleader for the Gremory peerage.
• Mio – Naruse Mio is a fair-skinned Kuoh Academy student with twin-tailed red hair and a voluptuous, buxom figure. As the adopted Naruse daughter with Demon King blood, she is a fire/gravity-wielding Bishop in Aki’s peerage. Sought by Zolgear and interacting with Yuki, her proud, tsundere personality shifts to total surrender in her deeply intimate bond with Aki as Maria transports her.
• Lucia – A magic-using Succubus with an icy, abstinence-driven demeanor, she lacks the typical physical traits of her kind and potentially harbors a hidden side. As Shela’s daughter and Maria’s half-sister, she was present during the teleportation sequence with the Nonaka sisters. Currently, she is imprisoned by Zolgear, held captive alongside her mother.
• Maria – A young, sexually active succubus of royal lineage related to Shela and Lucia. Petite and cute with amethyst eyes and a heart-tipped tail, her mature true form is busty with long legs. Aki’s deferential subordinate eager to prove herself, she is tasked with saving Naruse Mio. She attempts to manipulate Zolgear by threatening Mio to buy time, but ends up paralyzed by his magic.
• Shela – A petite, former Succubus Queen with white hair, ram horns, and violet eyes, she balances matronly grace with youthful charm. The protective mother of Naruse Mio, Lucia, and Maria, and a potential partner of Aki, she is currently held captive by Zolgear. She guards vital Gremory secrets and super-electromagnetic device info while orchestrating plans for her daughters’ survival.
• Queen – A devil serving Riser Phenex.
• Rias – A prominent female authority in the Gremory household, she is a high-level tactical advisor and protector who provides essential emotional support and safety for Mio and Maria. Beyond her tactical brilliance, she acts as a source of destructive magical power fused by Aki and maintains a professional interest in bio-manufacturing technology, serving as a key intelligence asset for the group.
• Gremory – Rias Gremory, a pure-blood devil of the prestigious Gremory house, has striking crimson hair, blue eyes, a curvy figure, and a prominent bust. Wielding top-level demonic power, she governs Kuoh Academy’s hidden hierarchy and leads her household in a high-stakes competition against the rival Phoenix clan.
• Yubelluna – An A+-rank magic user with a curvaceous figure and long purplish-red hair, specializing in explosive and barrier spells. Formerly a Phoenix-clan devil who loved Riser Phoenix and aimed to be the first cultivator, she now enjoys freedom in the Human World after his incapacitation. She has recently joined Ravel’s Peerage to pursue a new path.
• Y – The first initial/part of the name Y Ddraig Goch.
• Nonaka – The Nonaka sisters—Yuki, Ikumi, Yuzuki, and Kurumi—are professional surveillance monitors. Alienated by the Hero Clan post-Hero Village incident, this ally of Aki protects the Gremory household and links various heroines amidst potential family conflict.
• Toujou – Toujou is the family name carried by Basara and his father, Jin, connecting them to the Hero Clan and an ongoing conflict. Associated with Basara—a powerful individual whose existence is known to Aki—the surname is recognized for representing high combat potential and formidable strength.
