Xenovia’s face was dead serious. But her words made even the Schoolgirls around them — some with experience — blush deeply.
Aki’s face went stiff. He thought he had dodged the topic. But the dazed-looking Xenovia was surprisingly stubborn.

Aki sighed in relief. He hurried to catch up with Rias, whose long crimson hair swayed gracefully.
”Buchou, what’s the deal with Xenovia and Irina?”
”Ask them yourself, if you want details.” Rias smiled slightly. Admiration showed on her mature, seductive face. “As expected of the man I’ve chosen. One meeting, and you’ve already hooked two talented Schoolgirls.”
Aki’s heart skipped.

His earlier hunch was right. Irina, that starry-eyed Schoolgirl who loved getting lost in her own world, also had ulterior motives toward him.
Whether it was a sugar-coated trap or not, a young, lively Schoolgirl — an original heroine no less — delivering herself to him… in the past, Aki would have devoured both without a second thought.

The final candidate was a female Devil named Liala. Her name was only one character different from Rias’s. After thorough inquiries, he was ninety percent sure Liala was currently [God-tier]. But due to world-line shifts, she couldn’t reveal her power. Without outside help, she might live her whole life under surveillance. Kat Reina was still gathering details. But if there was a chance, Aki felt Liala was the most suitable mentor candidate.

They stood at the door, eyes locked, staring at each other. After a long moment, Aki touched his nose and said, forcing himself, “Um… not going to invite me in?”
Afraid Irina would throw a tantrum, he quickly added, “Anyway, I’m here to see Xenovia.”
He shouldn’t have said that. The moment he did, Irina’s cute face darkened. She wanted to slam the door in his face. But remembering her mission and the gap in their strength, she held back.
”Hmph, you jerk who doesn’t appreciate this lady’s beauty.”
Irina snorted, wiggled her waist, and marched quickly into the Bedroom. Aki followed, closed the half-open door, and locked it.
The Bedroom was large, but there was only one bed. The desk and wardrobe were clean. The luggage of the two [Holy Sword] wielders sat quietly in the corner, unpacked.
Aki already had a general idea of Xenovia’s situation. There were some differences, but it mostly matched his memory. Because she learned God no longer existed, Xenovia could no longer provide faith — it actually increased the System’s burden. So even as a perfect [Holy Sword] wielder, the Church had exiled her. After being exiled, Xenovia had turned to the Devil faction, becoming Rias’s [Peerage]. The situation was basically the same now, except she hadn’t been exiled; she had quit voluntarily and become Rias’s [Peerage].
What surprised him was Irina. In the original timeline, she wasn’t supposed to learn God was dead until long after she was [Reincarnated] as an [Angel]. So why was she here now? Furthermore, Aki sensed that, as expected, Irina had already been [Reincarnated] as an [Angel]. Fallen Angels could [Reincarnate] into Devils. Angels likely could too. But he sensed no Devil aura on Irina, which only deepened his confusion.
”Do you two sleep together?”
”Yes. Whenever we were on missions or at the Church, we always slept together.”
”I see. If you’re not used to it, you can change rooms.”
Aki glanced at Irina, who was sitting on the bed with puffed cheeks, and said deliberately, “There are still plenty of empty rooms. You can even have one to yourself.”
The mansion had many rooms. But as more girls moved in, there weren’t actually many left. That was with two or three girls sharing a Bedroom. Aside from Rias and a few others, most girls actually preferred living in groups of two or three. The Bedroom space was big enough to hold two or three people with room to spare. And it was much happier living with a close friend than alone. They could chat and laugh about things that interested them. On those empty nights when they didn’t get Aki’s [Great Dragon], they could comfort each other with mutual caresses.
Unsurprisingly, hearing Aki’s words, Irina glared at him with puffed cheeks. Before she could speak, Aki cut straight to the point without warning.
”Xenovia, why did you suddenly say you wanted to have SEX with me? Do you like me?”
The blue-haired, busty Schoolgirl paused for a moment. But soon she replied calmly, “Because I want to try s*x. And right now, you’re the most ideal partner. As for whether I like you or not… I don’t dislike you, at least.”

• Toujou – Toujou is the family name of Basara and his father, Jin, and also refers to their family residence. Connecting them to the Hero Clan and an ongoing conflict, the name represents formidable strength and high combat potential. Basara is a powerful individual whose existence is known to Aki.
• Jin – A handsome, middle-aged Hero Clan figure with half-rimmed glasses, Basara’s father is a God-tier entity, former God of War, and possessor of Ancient Dragon blood that sources his son’s power. Masking formidable strength behind a composed exterior, he navigates complex Underworld allegiances tied to Mio and the heroines’ family dynamics while preparing to travel abroad.
