They had been abducted by the bandit group ‘Sand Fang,’ dispatched by the kingdom’s evil minister, Karim al-Hakim, and sold at that black-market auction as slaves.
Hearing this shocking confession, the scattered dots of information in my mind connected into a single line.

But then—why had Ignazio and Blanchefort wanted them?
