She’d waited a week—half a day wasn’t the issue. Seris’s stubborn nature simply demanded an answer.
Nonaka Kurumi shrugged helplessly: “Aki-nii’s in the middle of dual cultivation with Ravel.”
”And Xue and Isabella too,” Nonaka Yuki added. “Aki won’t be crawling out of that room until morning.”
”Dual cultivation? Ravel? Xue? Isabella?”
Seris’s face was a mask of utter confusion. She understood what “dual cultivation” meant—she’d done her research on Aki before coming. The names Ravel, Xue, and Isabella didn’t ring any bells, but she could guess they were three girls.
But those four terms together? That simply wouldn’t compute.

As the Nonaka sisters and Seris conversed in the hallway, Aki’s pace inside began to quicken.
