Chapter 66 Interlude – A Long Day For The Student Council President

It was a Saturday morning. Lana was at school. She had borrowed a classroom for her magic medicine class and was working on a complicated mixture that required a lot of focus.
”Okay, when the liquid turns blue, add the powdered mushroom…”
Some subjects are hard to study at home, and magic medicine is one of the toughest.
”Meow, it’s going well!”
Sherry suddenly appeared beside Lana, wearing her signature black-rimmed glasses and looking very satisfied.
”Thanks to teacher, I got to learn even on our days off. And thanks for opening the classroom for me, it’s a huge help!”
”It’s no big deal, I’m happy to help students like you, Lana, who are eager to learn.”
”Thank you….”
Lana bowed her head deeply in gratitude.
”By the way, you should take off of your uniforms soon. From now on, things are going to get really messy, and we don’t want to ruin your clothes.”
”Okay, got it!”
The school has strict dress code rules, but Sherry was already wearing a casual outfit. If Lana were a boy, she would be in big trouble for wearing such a revealing outfit. But since it was just the 2 of them, Lana felt comfortable changing into a more relaxed outfit.
”…Phew!”
After Sherry told her to, Lana took off her robe and changed into a thin outfit that showed off her figure. If she weren’t with Sherry, she wouldn’t have dared to wear such an outfit.
The reason was that if the mushroom mixture splashed onto her robe, it would be a huge mess. The color would run, and it would be ruined. In some cases, it could even be a one-way ticket to failure.
For Lana, who was on a tight budget, ruining her robe would be a big problem. So, she decided to do the mixture in her casual clothes.
”Let’s boil the mushroom mixture and then filter it…”
While trying to ignore the feeling of her skin tingling, Lana followed Sherry’s guidance and continued with the mixture. After about an hour of struggling, she finally managed to create a perfect product, just like the one in the textbook.
”I did it!”
”Good job!”
Lana was wearing a super thin outfit that showed off her skin, and her underwear was also very loose.
When she jumped up in excitement, a lot of things can be seen.

When beautiful and charming Sherry gives compliments, it makes Lana happy. Even Sherry’s slightly naughty behavior earlier is forgiven.

Sherry started playing with Lana’s chest, and both of them had big breasts, but Lana’s were slightly larger.
”Don’t you think the boys in school would also fall for you?”

Lana was surprised to find herself talking so freely. Usually, she would avoid this kind of conversation.

There were just too many things going on.
The signs were there from a while back, but Lana had been ignoring them. However, it was getting harder to ignore them now.
She was almost doing it every day. And it wasn’t just that ―― she was getting more and more carried away.
(I think I’m really changing… my body is acting weird…)
She couldn’t talk to anyone at school or even Alba about it. Lana was really struggling with her body, and without realizing it, she was getting drawn into this kind of conversation.
”Hmm, I’m popular, but it’s not like it’s a good thing…”
”Yeah, that’s true, right?”
”Chemistry is important, after all.”
”Really?”
”And chemistry with that person is important too…”
”That person…?”
Lana couldn’t understand at first, so she tilted her head. Sherry wiggled her finger a little.
”…It’s about our body’s compatibility. If it doesn’t match, it’s super sad, you know~.”
”Teacher…!”
”For us, beastmen, it’s a matter of life and death. We have a special time when we’ll in heat.”
Lana’s face turned bright red and she looked down, feeling embarrassed. This conversation was really awkward.
”That’s true, but… Well, I hear that it’s really tough.”
Even among friends at school, there are people who are struggling with the same issue (like not finding the right person, or not being able to afford medicine to control their heat).
It’s not something that only happens to others. But still, she can’t talk about it. Lana looked down, feeling shy, and Sherry’s tail started swishing back and forth again.
This time, it was swishing really slowly and smoothly.
”Ah…!”
When Lana looked up, she saw a serious-looking Sherry. Lana held her breath. Sherry wasn’t joking around; she was really trying to listen to Lana’s problems.
”I know your’re in trouble. So, if you’re struggling, I’ll be there to support you.”
…Lana started mumbling. If she said it out loud, it would sound like she was talking about something really embarrassing. But it wasn’t that big of a deal.
Lana knew that too. This was a sensitive topic.
It’s like when you have a strong memory that makes your body feel hot and excited…it’s like talking about animal instincts.
