I woke up to these watery sounds and sensations in Linna’s room, as she had told me the night before.

Linna looked worried, but Ms. Tirica responded calmly.

I confidently affirmed Linna’s question about Ms. Tirica’s words.
”Yeah, I’m really good at running away. Even if things get dangerous, I can easily escape back home.”
I said this to invite a comment about my confidence, but what I got back was a serious response.
”That’s good to hear. The most important thing is to come back safely.”
”Right. If you’re too strong, it seems like more people start to rely on you.”
”Ah…”
Their words really hit home for me.
I need to make sure I don’t let things get worse.
Thinking that, I finished getting ready and had breakfast, then secured a place to stay for ten days before heading to the dungeon to scout beyond the 3rd District.
