After they drove away the male adventurers who were there and kept watch around, one of the women in a cheongsam looked over at me.

From her words, it seemed like she wasn’t sure if I could understand human speech, but… if I don’t respond to her call, I might be seen as a monster and targeted for hunting in the future.

The woman in the cheongsam dress seemed to be named Ferris.
Luka tried to stop Ferris’s actions.

But Ferris didn’t stop her hand. She grabbed the timer from me and started looking at the back while answering her.

The girl called Taia said this and hugged her body wrapped in a robe.

said the woman with the bow, with the other members agreeing.

”Just?”

Even though I was a bit surprised by her direct words, I replied without much hesitation, which made Ferris show a subtle expression.

I explained that I wasn’t doubting what Ferris said, but she frowned.
”…Oh, so you mean I don’t have that kind of appeal to you?”

It seemed like she took it as if I said she wasn’t attractive, and I might have upset her.
But saying she’s attractive enough to want to hug her… that might also make her feel bad in a different way.

I made it clear that the reason I wasn’t getting involved was not because there was no charm, but because I wanted to avoid that situation. It seemed to calm Ferris’s anger a bit.

She pointed at the timer with a smirk.

Her friends gasped at the sight.
Meanwhile, the invisible Ferris snuck behind Taia and reached out from both sides.
She was probably trying to touch Taia’s chest, but Taia quickly dodged away.

While saying this invisibly, Ferris glanced at me as Taia suggested.

I can understand her dislike for men, but I wish she wouldn’t jump to conclusions about crimes that are difficult to prove one’s innocence.
Perhaps aware of the unfairness of the situation, Ms. Luka spoke up again to admonish her.

And she quietly let Ferris squeeze her chest.

Maybe because of that comment, the way she was being squeezed got a bit more intense, and Taia tried to hold back but let out a sound.
But then, Ms. Luka spoke up.
”Well, isn’t it Ferris’s fault?”
”Um… that’s true.”
As she said that, Taia’s chest was released and bounced back into place. Then, from behind her, I heard footsteps and saw grass being pushed down as someone approached.
*Rustle, rustle, rustle… rustle*
The footsteps and the bent grass stopped in front of me, and out of thin air, Ferris’s voice came.
”Here, I’m returning the magic item.”
”Oh, okay.”
*Swoosh*
”…”
”…”
The alarm isn’t ringing, and according to my sense of time, there’s still some left on the timer, but since she said she would return it, I held out my hand.
However, there was no sign of the timer being returned, and a silent, awkward pause formed between us.
Of course, I knew Ferris wasn’t moving, so I understood that she wasn’t going to give it back.
”Um…?”
I was about to ask what she was planning or if she wasn’t going to return it when… Ferris moved.
”!? Um…?”
””?””
The surrounding women, who couldn’t see what was happening, looked confused at my bewilderment.
Right now, I’m pretending I can’t see Ferris, so I can’t really react clearly. I just keep a look on my face like, “Aren’t you going to give it back?”
This girl just shoved a timer into her cleavage from the side of her clothes.

”I will! Here you go~♪.”
Saying that, she sticks out her chest, but since I’m pretending I can’t see, I obviously can’t reach out. Even if I could see, I wouldn’t be able to do anything in this situation.
