For each type of magic, how well someone can use it varies from person to person. Most people can only use one or 2 types, and it’s rare to find someone who can use 3 or more effectively in battle.
Each type of magic has ten levels. Levels 1 to 3 are beginner, levels 4 to 7 are intermediate, and levels 8 to 10 are advanced.
There are said to be levels beyond that, but the books at home only go up to level 10.
There are 3 ways to activate magic:
1. Chanting
2. Magic circles
3. Magic tools
The first chant allows people with magic potential to shorten their incantations through training, and eventually, they can even cast spells without saying anything.
The second magic circle is often used by people without magic potential when they want to use magic. It can be used for large-scale magic that consumes a lot of magical power, which can only be activated by a group of people.
The third type of magic tool is mainly for combat and daily life, and it uses magic stones, which are found inside magical creatures, as a power source to perform magic.
So, we safely arrived in the backyard.
By the time a child is 3 years old, they can walk on 2 legs easily.

From my mom’s right palm, a super huge water ball flew up into the sky.
Then the water ball suddenly stopped in mid-air.
When my mom closed her open right palm, the super huge water ball exploded.
*Kaboom!!*
…Oh, a rainbow appeared.
It seems my mom might be an incredible mage.
”Rob, how was that? Did you enjoy it?”
She asked with a big smile, but I was still staring blankly at the sky.
…That was amazing. Clearly, it was a magic spell I couldn’t cast even if I used all my magic power.
”Hey, Rob? Can you hear me?”
She called out again, and I finally snapped back to reality.
”Mama, that was awesome. I-I want to see other types of magic too!”
I replied, my cheeks twitching with excitement.
”Other types? Why are you being so polite? …Alright, let’s keep going!”
Then my mom started gathering magic power in both of her palms.
*Zzzzz, zzzzzz*
The space around us warped again.
This time, it seemed like there were 2 magic spells, each containing as much magic power as the previous water ball.
’Wind Vortex.’ ‘Rock Saber.’
My mom raised her left hand and shot the swirling wind magic into the sky, where it also stopped.
Then she summoned a giant rock sword from her right hand and slammed it down to the ground.
*Boom!! Crash!!*
Once again, a loud magic explosion happened, this time in the air and on the ground.
I was trembling.
Then, my mom started gathering even more magic power in both of her palms.
All that was left was fire magic and light magic.
’Fire Ball.’
My mom shot a huge fireball from her left palm and made it stop in mid-air.
’Celestial Laser’
The beam shot from her right palm collided with the fireball in the air and exploded.
*Boom!!!*
…Hey, what in the world is my mom?
I’ve never seen anyone else’s magic before, but I can’t believe there are people around who can use magic like this.
”…Ahaha, maybe I got a little carried away?”
My mom said to me, still in shock.
I can’t help but feel awe at her mysterious power.

I thought my magic power had increased a lot, but it seems I still have a long way to go.
”You’re welcome. Were you satisfied?”
”…I have a favor to ask, Mama. Please teach me magic!”
