It’s been 2 years since I started living at Rumi’s house.
Rumi and I are now 7 years old.
In this world, you can become an adventurer starting at ten, so we still have a lot of training days ahead in this village.
”Yawn~~.”
I wake up, stretching and looking around.
(…She’s snuck in again.)
Lately, when I wake up in the morning, Rumi is curled up in my futon.
Since I don’t have any s*xual urges yet, I just think her sleeping face is cute and don’t feel like doing anything.
”Hey, Rumi~! It’s morning!”
I gently shake Rumi’s shoulder and call out to her.
”Hehe, you can’t lick there, Rob. Oh, that’s also off-limits. …Well, I guess this spot is okay~♪.”

In the past 2 years, I learned new skills: ‘Ki Manipulation’, ‘Ki Detection’, and ‘Ki Cloak’ from Dad Izana.
There’s an organ inside my belly that generates ‘Ki’, and by manipulating and wrapping it around my body, I can improve my physical abilities.
The effect is almost the same as a mana cloak; the mana cloak uses MP, while the Ki Cloak uses SP.
If I use both, the effects stack, greatly enhancing my physical abilities.

Our daily life consists of training, gathering, and free time, and we live a very healthy lifestyle by waking up early and going to bed early.
”Take this!”
Rumi shouts energetically as she wraps herself in Ki and Magic Power, quickly stepping in front of me and launching a sharp thrust.
*Clang! Clang!*
In the garden, the sound of our training echoes as Rumi activates her unique ability, ‘Swift Wind Thunder’, instantly circling behind me and kicking.
”Ha!”
”Ugh, ‘Protection’!”
──Clang!
Realizing I couldn’t dodge or block with my wooden sword in time, I used magic to defend.
Then, I fired a rapid shot of the beginner magic ‘Stone Bullet’ at Rumi.
”Whoa, ‘Stone Shield’!”
──Bang! Bang!
I moved to Rumi’s side and tried to sweep her feet with my wooden sword.
”Ha! ‘Fire Ball’!”
Rumi jumped just high enough to avoid my attack aimed at her feet and countered with fire magic.
I wrapped my wooden sword in Magic Power and slashed at the blaze ball.
With that momentum, I stopped my wooden sword right at Rumi’s neck.
”Ha, good job, Rumi.”
”I got hit~… good job, Rob.”
”Are you hurt?”
”I’m fine. Rob is really strong!”
”Haha, but lately, there have been a lot of scary moments.”
Like this, sometimes Dad or Mom would join us, but mostly it was just the two of us training, and we had made quite a bit of progress.

After training, the next step was gathering in the nearby forest or river.
At first, we cooked and ate whatever we found without checking it beforehand, which ended up giving us skills in poison resistance and paralysis resistance.
Surprisingly, some foods that caused poison or paralysis weren’t that bad in taste, so we decided to eat them whenever we found them to level up our skills.
Rumi and I were searching for various herbs and fruits in the forest.
”Hey, Rob, can we eat this leaf?”
Rumi eagerly held up a leaf and asked.
”Hmm, this one… doesn’t look safe to eat. It seems a bit dangerous, so it’s better not to.”
Rumi nodded with a smile and continued to look for new plants.
”Oh, can we eat this fruit over here?”

Rumi and I happily walked through the forest, sharing our discoveries while carrying a basket filled with the herbs and fruits we gathered, occasionally defeating monsters we came across.

We spent most of the day training and gathering, but during our little free time, Rumi and I decided to split up.
Rumi often went to help Mom Emma prepare dinner.
As for me, I flew around using wind magic, searching for monsters or looking for something interesting.
If I could find an undiscovered dungeon, I wanted to sneak in and test my strength, but so far, I hadn’t found any.
Such a wish? Did it really come true? It happened all of a sudden.
A stampede broke out in the long-abandoned dungeon.
A huge number of monsters were approaching our village.
