After the battle with Demon King Regna, Alice was freed from the prison and reunited with Charlotte.
While we were still feeling the aftermath of the fight, we checked on each other’s safety and started talking.
I thanked Dad Izana and Mom Emma.
They both looked a bit tired, but they seemed satisfied with our victory over the Demon King.
”Thanks, Dad and Mom! We were able to rescue our friends safely. I really appreciate it!”
I smiled at them and expressed my gratitude.
”Ah, I’m proud to have fought alongside Rob!”
Dad said with a satisfied look, patting my shoulder.
”I’m so glad Allie is safe. …So, may I ask your name?”
Mom turned her gaze to Charlotte, wearing a gentle smile as she spoke.
Charlotte looked a bit nervous, but she still began to introduce herself with dignity.
”I’m Charlotte Sphere Milifica, the 8h princess of this country, the Sphere Kingdom. Thank you so much for helping me and my dear friend Alice. …Normally, I would like to give you a proper reward for your efforts, but my country has already fallen, and now I am just Charlotte. I quietly smiled and spoke to her.
”Alright, Alice, I’ll start the Chanting for the sl*ve contract magic.”
”Yes, Sir Rob! Anytime!”
Alice replied cheerfully, looking like she might cry at any moment.
Mom smiled gently and pointed to the Magic Circle drawn on the table.
”Now, both of you, place your hands on this Magic Circle.”
”Yes.” “Understood.”
Alice and I followed Mom’s instructions and touched the Magic Circle.
Through telepathy, Mom began to convey the Chanting for the sl*ve contract.
I started to chant, matching my voice to the rhythm.

The moment I finished chanting, the blood on the plate on the table began to glow faintly and rose up, taking the shape of chains. Those chains stretched towards the backs of my and Alice’s hands, slowly connecting us, and then melted away with a flash of light.
”Alright, it’s done. You should be able to feel each other’s presence now. How does it feel?”
Mom asked, looking at me and Alice.
I closed my eyes and calmed my mind.
…I could definitely feel Alice’s presence right away.
”Wow, I can really tell where Alice is!”
I couldn’t help but shout in joy.
”Yes… now I can be with Sir Rob forever…!”
Alice’s voice trembled with emotion, tears filling her eyes.
(Wait, how did we go from “Rob” to “Sir Rob” again?)

I spoke as gently as I could, trying to ease her worries, and Charlotte smiled, her face still slightly red, after a moment’s thought.
”U-um, well, okay then. I think we’ll be together for a long time, you and me. Nice to have you on board!”
Her smile was soft, like the tension had melted away, and it even gave off a sense of reassurance.
Mom, who had been watching the whole exchange with a warm smile, gave further instructions.
”Hehe… Well, the procedure is the same as before. Both of you, drip some blood onto this plate.”
Following Mom’s instructions, Charlotte and I lightly cut our fingertips with a dagger and dripped our blood onto the plate.
The two bloods slowly began to mingle.
”Alright, I’m going to start the Chanting.”
Then, through my mom’s telepathic message, I began to weave the sl*ve contract magic Chanting again.

The moment I finished the Chanting, our blood began to glow faintly and rose up, forming a red chain that started to connect the backs of my hand and Charlotte’s. The chain shone brightly as it linked us, wrapping us in a soft light.
…Eventually, the chain melted away and disappeared, but both Charlotte and I felt that a strong bond had been formed.
”Now… it’s done. Can you feel where each other is?”
As my mom spoke with satisfaction, I quietly closed my eyes and focused on sensing Charlotte’s presence in my mind.
Soon, I felt her location clearly reflected in my thoughts.
”Yeah… I can tell where Charlotte is!”
As I exclaimed in amazement, Charlotte smiled with a mix of surprise and joy.
”Rob, let’s get along from now on! You can call me ‘Charl’~♪.”
Charlotte said happily, looking at me with a sense of relief.
”Got it, Charl. …Alright, I’ll say this before I forget. ‘From now on, don’t follow my orders.’ …Is this okay?”
”Um… thank you~♪”
Charlotte replied, her cheeks slightly flushed and looking happy.
(Phew… I can’t believe I’m making a sl*ve contract with Charl after Alice.)
Even while thinking that, I felt sure that I could protect my 2 important friends.
