After finishing my training with Rumi and Goddess Tiseris in the dream world, my consciousness was brought back to the real world.
I could hear the sound of the wind blowing through the trees, the chirping of birds, and the clashing of swords between Alice and Dad Izana, along with their spirited voices.
The soft, warm morning light filled the room, and I slowly opened my heavy eyelids.
Right in front of me, beautiful violet hair sparkled, making me feel like I was still dreaming.
Suddenly, my face was wrapped in a warm, soft sensation.
Charl, still half-asleep, had pulled my head into her embrace.
”Mm, mmm… muah.”
Charl kissed me.
(If Charl wakes up in this state, it’s going to be a huge commotion… but I can’t escape… yeah, I guess I’ll just stay like this.)
Charl’s kisses started to become more intense.
”Chuuuu… hehehe… mwah, mmm, nnyu~… hmm?”
(Ah, she’s awake.)
Charl’s eyes opened wide.
I activated ‘Thought Sharing’ and greeted her telepathically.
(Charl, good morning. You’re really passionate with your kisses this morning.)
Charl’s eyes widened even more, and after freezing for a moment, she hurriedly pulled away from me.
Then, she screamed like it was a horror movie.

A strong shock ran through my cheek.
”That hurts… isn’t that a bit unreasonable? I didn’t do anything!”

Charl gently placed her hand on my slightly flushed cheek, looking apologetic as she cast Healing Magic.

I smiled and gently patted Charl’s head.

Charl’s face turned red, and she let out a cute sound like a cat about to cough up a hairball.
”By the way, I’ve been curious for a while… what does ‘Holy Beast Transformation’ look like?”
I’ve always wanted to see what Charl looks like after her Holy Beast Transformation.
”…Do you want to see?”
Charl tilted her head cutely and asked.

Charl activated her unique ability, ‘Holy Beast Transformation.’
In the next moment, Charl’s body was enveloped in light and then shrank until she disappeared.

I hurriedly looked around, but I couldn’t find her.
Then, I felt my pajama sleeve being tugged gently.
”Woof! Woof!”
Looking down, I saw a tiny puppy that could fit in the palms of my hands. It had fluffy, soft white fur and a little purple wing.
…What an incredibly cute puppy!
”Th… that’s so cute… a dog?”
I picked up the adorable puppy-like Holy Beast and stared at it intently.
”Kun…”
Charl let out a cry that seemed to say she disagreed.
”Could it be… with that form, you can’t speak human words?”
”Woof!”
(Then let’s communicate telepathically… This is different from what I expected, but it’s surprisingly cute, and I can accept this!)

As I spent this peaceful time with Charl, suddenly, magic power gathered outside the window, and a black flash of light shot toward me.
*Crash! Boom!!*
The window glass shattered violently, and the barrier that Charl and I had set up absorbed the black flash, creating a loud noise in the room.
──It appears that the Demon King launched an attack here early this morning.
(…Why now, instead of when I was sleeping?)
Even though that question crossed my mind, I was too focused on maintaining the barrier to think about anything else.
But in the next moment, 2 beams of rainbow-colored light shot toward the Demon King, piercing through the enemy’s body.

It was an attack from Mom Emma’s rainbow magic and Nana’s [Magic Condenser Device (Immortal Seven)].
The enemy’s attack paused for a moment. My breathing became shallow. This was my chance. I pulled out the [Dawn Sword] from the subspace.
”I’m going to charge at that guy. Charl, you need to evacuate to Mom!”
I stroked Charl’s fluffy body, trying to ease her tension.
However, unintentionally, Charl’s body trembled, and her cheeks turned red.
(Eek… Ah… Nn… I-I understand! ‘Angel Breath’! Do your best!)
Her voice had a faint sweet tone mixed in.
As I listened closely, my body was wrapped in enhancement magic.
I felt heat spreading throughout my body, and a surge of power filled me.
I soared into the air with wind magic, charging straight at the Demon King.
”Haah!”
Clankk!!
A piercing metallic sound filled the air.
The Demon King drew a sinister, dark red sword and effortlessly blocked my [Dawn Sword] with a single strike.
Sparks flew, and my vision was momentarily lit up.
”Ugh…!”
I took a step back and immediately activated ‘Time Boost’ x2.
My movements accelerated, and I slashed at the Demon King repeatedly, leaving a sound that sliced through the air.
*Clank! Clank! Clankkk!!*
However, the Demon King didn’t budge at all, calmly deflecting my attacks as his black robe swayed in the wind.
My sword was knocked away time and again by his blade, and the impact echoed in my wrist.
(Damn it… this guy is blocking me with ease!)
My sword is definitely not weak.
Plus, my speed is extraordinary.
Yet, he defends himself with such composure.
His face is hidden behind a black mask, and he’s wrapped in a black robe, making it impossible to read his expression.
This figure is different from any Demon King I’ve seen in ‘Princess Rave,’ making it hard to even figure out who he is.
Gagigigigigin! Garin! Gagiiin!!
*Clank! Clank! Clankkk!!*
As we locked swords, a question popped into my mind.
But right now, I don’t have time to think about that.
Enduring the pressure of our clash, I asked,
”I’m surprised you attacked at this hour. How did you sneak into the capital without being noticed!?”
I felt like the Demon King smiled faintly.
In that moment, a chill ran up my spine.
”Heh… So, are you a vessel of the gods?”
”A vessel of the gods… What are you talking about?”
Suddenly, his eyes glowed red, and a strange sensation ran through my body.
Appraisal──Is he peeking at my information?
It felt like something deep inside my heart was being touched, an uncomfortable feeling spreading.
”Tch… Wrong guess. I have no use for someone like you.”
As soon as those words ended, his body faded like mist.
It was as if he melted into the very space around him, suddenly disappearing.
”Wha…!?”
In shock, I froze in place.
Was that guy… the Demon King that Nessa couldn’t find?
That overwhelming Magic Power.
Even after taking attacks from Mom and Nana, he moved like he wasn’t hurt at all.
I continued to stare at the empty space for a while.

In the dining hall, the usual members were there: me and 5 beautiful girls.
Also, Dad Izana and Mom Emma, who had returned while I was sleeping soundly last night.
And there were twin maids I had never seen before.

I thought I was making a reasonable request, but the looks around me felt a bit cold.
Especially Nana’s gaze was painful.

I looked at Dad and asked.
”Not yet, there are still some left… I decided to leave the rest to the adventurers from Somirkas. I want to take a break soon.”

”We were able to rescue the people from the Sphere Kingdom who were captured… Since we’ve been fighting every day, I think we’ll relax at home for a while.”

”I received a message from Mother saying that once the Cartwood people have gathered, they want you to come to the castle. They want to give you the reward for defeating the Demon King, so please come as soon as possible.”
Yuno reported this with a serious face, almost like a messenger.

Dad asked me.
”Yeah, I can go. Luna, can you let them know?”
”Yes, I will.”
Phew, I took a moment to gather my thoughts.
Going to the royal castle feels a bit heavy, but I need to make sure I get that reward!

”…So, starting tomorrow, please allow these two to study as students. Thank you!”
I bowed my head to Headmaster Ferris. Next to me, Alice and Charl also bowed with their hands on their chests.
”I’m Alice. Nice to meet you!”
”I’m Charlotte. Nice to meet you!”
Then, the headmaster looked at me with a smirk. No, that expression definitely looks like she’s up to something.
”Hmm… Both of them are cute. Are they both Rob’s girlfriends?”
The headmaster asked with a harmless expression, as if it were just a casual conversation.
”Hmm…”
Nana’s sharp gaze pierced through me.
”Ugh…”
Yuno looked at me with a sad expression.
”Um… well, Alice, Charl, Nana, and Yuno, they’re all my important friends and family… So, I want to make everyone happy. But… I can’t choose just one person. I’m a useless guy, you know?”
I answered with a wry smile, but inside I was sweating nervously.
”Hehe… then why not just marry them all? They don’t seem interested in other guys anyway.”
The headmaster joked, but she didn’t realize that her words created a strange tension in the room.
Please, just stop.
So, starting the next day, all my party members began attending the magic academy, and our weekends turned into dungeon exploration.
