After finishing my appearance on “It’s Okay to Laugh,” I was on a family trip to Suwa in Nagano Prefecture.
”This is the place you booked for us, right, Aa-chan? Thank you for such a wonderful spot, Aa-chan!”
”Mom is so happy that I can go on a family trip with Aqua-chan again!”
Shitori-oneechan and Mother hugged me.
Seeing them so happy makes me happy too.
”Ugh, ugh, ugh, I can’t believe we can travel as a family like this…”
I gently handed a handkerchief to Mommy Mikuni.
She cried like this the last time we went on a family trip during the live tour.
”Lapis! Lapis! Let’s go play soon!”
”Come on, Lazuli, we need to check in first, drop off our bags, and confirm the meeting time!”
I think Lapis and Lazuli have really warmed up to each other. From the outside, they look like real sisters.
Usually, Lapis acts like the responsible older sister, but when it counts, Lazuli is the one who takes charge and feels more like the older sister.
”Huh? What’s this Kirika group instead of the Shirogane family? Emily-senpai, you went to make the reservation with Aqua, right?”
”Normally, if we just make a reservation under the Shirogane family name, the other customers will notice and it’ll cause a scene, right? So, look, I disguised it to sound like a construction company while still giving off a family vibe. I could have just used Shirogane Group, but when I think of ‘Group,’ it naturally makes me picture Nee-san’s face. You know, Nee-san is our leader and has that big sister vibe.”
”Emily, you’re amazing!”
”Emily-san, can we talk a little later?”
”Eek!”
Kanon, Emily, Kaede, and Kotono all look happy.
For some reason, Kotono’s eyes looked a bit scary as she tightly grabbed Emily’s shoulder, but I pretended not to notice.

Ai and Yui also seem to be having fun, which is great.
Also, Ai, if you’re going to write that novel, you should change the title.
Because at this point, the only suspect is me!!
”Hey, Lisa-chan, Uruha-chan. I heard that Suwa Lake has fireworks every night during summer vacation.”
”Wow, really? Every day? That’s amazing! I can’t wait!”
”Kokona-san, Uruha-san, it looks like check-in is done~desuwa.”
Kokona, Uruha, and Lisa also look happy.
At first, they were hesitant because it was a family trip, but I’m glad I invited them since they’ll eventually get married with me anyway.
”Everyone, did you keep your travel snack budget to 300 yen?”
”Pegonia, with 300 yen, you can only buy one snack!”
”Rin-chan, if you get the surprise Beryl chocolate with stickers, you can buy 3! Three snacks for 300 yen!”
”Is a banana considered a snack or not? Beep, beep!”
”Mikoto, are you okay? That question is as deep as the mushroom bamboo shoot problem! Thinking too hard will make you overheat!!”
Pegonia-san, in this day and age, 300 yen is tough. Let’s make it at least 500 yen.
Besides, this isn’t a school trip; it’s a vacation, so buy whatever snacks you like.
I went to tell everyone they could buy as many snacks as they wanted.

Including me, there are 18 people in total. Maybe that’s too many.
But if everyone is this happy, I think I’ll plan another trip sometime between the end of New Year and the start of the new school term.
Next time, I hope Agewa-san, Natalia-san, and Victoria-sama, who couldn’t join this time, can come along too.

When I entered the room, I was overwhelmed by the grand and beautiful nature visible from the window.
”Yes, that mountain you see in the distance is called Bocchi Mountain.”

I quickly took out my smartphone from my pocket, took a picture, and sent it through a messaging app.

Looking at this mountain makes me naturally think of Kohina-senpai’s face for some reason.

The innkeeper said they are selling goods from Bocchi Mountain, so I’ll buy a T-shirt as a souvenir on the way back.
After I drop off my bags, I go for a walk with Lapis and Lazuli.

”Aqua-niisama, take a picture!”
”Sure, I got it, Lazuli.”
I take a picture of my 2 little sisters with a grin on my face.
They are wearing matching designs of black and white dresses, and their clean, beautiful legs are dazzling.
”Lapis, how have you been lately? It can be about school or if you have any worries about your idol work, feel free to talk to me anytime.”
Lapis is steadily gaining fans as part of a popular idol group.
I’ve heard from the staff who accompany her that she’s doing well.
”Well… it’s not really a worry, but when I watch Lazuli-chan’s game streams, I think it’s amazing how she doesn’t hold back on saying harsh things to Kohina Yukari-san.”
Lapis, you don’t need to copy that!!
”That’s because even though she’s a big deal in the industry, it’s Kohina-san’s fault for still being so flustered!”
I watched that stream.
Lazuli, who is part of the Bocchi Club, was carrying Kohina-senpai, the president of the Bocchi Club, in an FPS game along with Kukuri-chan, who is also in the Bocchi Club. But as the stream went on, Kohina-senpai started to break down.
Her aim got all wobbly, and sometimes she was so flustered that I couldn’t even understand what she was saying.
The other day during the stream, I heard Lazuli shout, “What are you doing!? Get it together! Yukariiiiiiiiii!” when Kohina-senpai collapsed silently while wandering around. I laughed so hard.
After that, Lazuli apologized to Kohina-senpai for calling her by her first name, but for viewers, that kind of distance in an FPS game stream is the most entertaining.
On the flip side, Emily and Kaede’s “sucking up” carry FPS streams are fun too, but only Emily and Kaede make it interesting. I could never pull off the trick of getting scolded by someone I’m trying to impress.
”How about Lazuli?”
”Not much, but the number of messages from Kohina-san that she sends every day is a bit annoying. We live together, so I don’t need a message saying she just woke up.”
”Lazuli, you can ignore those. I get them too, and whether I respond or not, I get about 50 messages. Let’s start by turning off notifications.”
I borrowed Lazuli’s smartphone and turned off the notifications from Kohina-senpai.
That person really bothers those who can give her attention.
Since Lazuli is a member of the same loner club, she probably doesn’t hold back and is easy to interact with.
”Aqua-chan! Lapis-chan! Lazuli-chan!”
Oh, it’s the mothers.
We join up with the mothers who came later, along with Mommy Mikuni and Shitorionee-chan.
”Since we’re all here, let’s have lunch together.”
With Shitori-oneechan’s suggestion, we move to have lunch.
It seems like my wives have split into a few groups to do their own things.
I was a bit worried about Kaede and Emily, but I felt relieved to hear that Kotono and Kanon were with them.

”Well, that’s okay. Compared to the time when I had a lot more work, this is nothing.”
Actually, there were days when I had about 5 plans after school when I was really busy.
The fact that I said I was okay and wanted more work led to that, so it’s not Ako-san and the others’ fault.
In fact, I think I was enjoying being able to do so many things too much, and I was the one who asked for too much work.

”No, it’s fine. I talked to Yui-san, and the government people helped out too, so I was only really busy for a little while.”
I see. I should thank Yui and the others later.
If the government people were involved, that means Rihito-san and Shikimi-san probably helped too.
”How’s Mommy Mikuni? I heard you’re going to State for drama.”
”Yeah. I was really upset about losing to Kohina-san. So there won’t be another chance.”
Mommy Mikuni looks toward Mount Bocchi, beyond Suwa Lake.
Just her profile looks like a scene from a movie.
”Aqua-kun, watch. I’ll show you how amazing mom really is as an actress.”
I know Mommy Mikuni is a great actress, but I just nodded and said, “Got it.”
It seems like the next award race is coming up. I can’t let my guard down either, along with Kohina-senpai.
Among the guys, of course, everyone from BERYL is great, and Tsuwabuki-san is acting really well. Kamonohashi-san is good too, but right now, Tsuwabuki-san is doing amazing acting in a way that I can’t.
Plus, Ayana and I are no longer in the rookie category, so we’ll have to compete with Mommy Mikuni and the defending champion, Kohina-senpai, in the next award race.
I thought maybe next time, we might not win anything.
Normally, I would feel frustrated, but just imagining that makes me a little excited.
It’s really fun to have a rival to compete with and grow alongside.
”Aqua-kun, um… do you have any worries as an actor? I… I mean, if you want to talk, I’m always here for you…”
Mommy Mikuni keeps glancing at me, looking like she really wants me to share.
I don’t actually have anything to talk about, but it feels too sad to leave her hanging, so maybe I should ask her something.
”Well then, Mommy Mikuni, what kind of drama do you think I should be in?”
I’m lucky that I can choose my roles as an actor right now.
I have a lot of offers, and I’m only taking on the projects that I find interesting.
Kohina-senpai says that’s fine, but I’m curious about what Mommy Mikuni, who can also choose her work, thinks.
”Aqua-kun, you’ve had success with Heaven’s Sword, and lately, you’ve been in a lot of hero and action projects, as well as big blockbuster movies. I think it might be nice for you to try more age-appropriate school romance comedies or comedies with a funny vibe. Since you’re probably closer to me than Kohina-san in essence, you’re suited for heroic or serious roles, but if you only do those, you’ll just be following in my footsteps, which would be a waste. I see… Now that she mentions it, I realize I haven’t played any roles that are more suitable for my age at all.

”U-um. I’m really happy if I was helpful for Aqua-kun.”
Seeing Mommy Mikuni’s happy and shy face made me glad I asked for advice.
Kohina-senpai also said I shouldn’t hold back, and if I had anything I wanted to ask Mommy Mikuni, I should go for it.
”Ah, everyone! How about that restaurant over there?”
”Tempura soba, huh? Sounds good to me!”
”Yeah, yeah. They say soba is delicious in Shinshu.”
We happily entered the soba restaurant and enjoyed tempura soba while having a nice family time together.
