”Thank you very much. You really helped us.”
Around the campfire at their campsite, the girls bow their heads.
They seem to be a bit taller than me, Kazumi, and Rena, maybe around 140 cm (4’7″). They look like cute girls with slightly youthful faces.
However, their bodies are… surprisingly curvy. They have big chests, slim waists, and large hips. They are very voluptuous and have a certain charm.
”…I wish I had that…”
Behind me, Kazumi whispers while placing her hand on her chest.
I hear that the 3 of them are sisters. The one with short hair in the middle is the eldest, Alda. The one on the right with a ponytail is the second sister, Eluda. The one on the left with twin tails is the youngest, Meluda.
They look young, but apparently, all 3 are adults (which means they are 15 years old in this world).
”The dwarf sisters, huh? Were you mining for ore in the tunnels?”
While adjusting the string of her composite bow, Rena asks.
”Yes. We were mining for ‘Flame Stone’ for our grandfather.”
”There was no one around while we were working, but… suddenly during our camp…”
”Out of nowhere, a golem appeared from the tunnel.”
Alda, Eluda, and Meluda answer in turn.
”Some ores can absorb miasma and turn into ‘magic cores.’ I think that’s what fused with the surrounding rocks and turned into a golem.”
Rena explains what happened to Alda and the others.
”That… is ‘Flame Stone,’ right?”
Alda shakes her head at my question.
”This is it. When you light it like this…”
Alda takes a stone from her waist pouch and places it on the ground.
Eluda takes a burning log from the campfire and brings it close to the stone.
After a moment, the stone starts to shine so brightly it almost hurts the eyes.
(Ah, it must be magnesium…)
”Wow, that’s an interesting stone.”
”My eyes are sparkling…”
”I’m sorry…”
Seeing everyone rubbing their eyes, Alda apologizes with a guilty look.
”It’s light, but it’s soft, so it’s not really good for weapons.”
”My grandfather likes to use this. He knows some special processing method…”
Eluda and Meluda continue to talk.
”We’re taking this back and tomorrow, we’ll learn that processing method from our grandfather.”
Alda smiles happily.
”Are you all blacksmiths?”
”””Yes!”””
”We’re also heading to the capital to see a blacksmith. Well, we have a recommendation from the Minister of War.”
”Would it be okay if we guide you to the capital? Alda and my sisters others know a shortcut from here.”
”No, we have horses. Can that shortcut fit us?”
”Don’t worry! Alda and the others came on horses too.”
Saying that, Alda whistles, and after a moment, 3 horses come galloping from deep in the forest.
”We let them go because a golem appeared.”
Alda, who came over to the horse, patted it.
”That’s a relief. We want to get to the capital as soon as possible.”
”If we leave in the morning, we’ll be in the capital by noon.”
Elda smiled and nodded.
”Really?!”
”Yes. The tunnel extends all the way to the foot of the mountain. If we go through it, we’ll be there in no time.”
”Well, hardly anyone knows about it.”
”It’s like a maze inside, so if someone unfamiliar goes in, they’ll get lost.”
Alda, Melda, and Elda took turns speaking. That’s a great help.

”Well, let’s go to bed early so we can leave early in the morning.”
Liz stood up.
”Yeah, let’s go back to our camp.”
I stood up and prepared to return to our campsite.
”We’ll come and get you in the morning. Alda’s sisters will prepare breakfast for you.”
The three sisters, Alda, Meluda, and Eluda, waved at us with a smile.
