I explain the situation to Kazumi in a low voice, and she comes to the room.
”It’s either good timing or bad timing…”
Saying that, Kazumi quickly goes upstairs.
”Dorothy, are you okay?”
Dorothy, who is sitting on the bed, bows her head to Kazumi.
”It’s not a big deal. …Yeah. So, you managed to drink the medicine, right? And did it work?”
Dorothy tilts her head slightly.
”I see. It’s hard to tell if you came down because the medicine worked or because you came down and the medicine worked.”
Dorothy looks dejected.
”Yeah… yeah… well, it can’t be helped. As for your clothes… oh, I see…”
Kazumi puts her hand on her forehead, saying “Oops”.
”Dorothy’s bags were carried by Liz. ──Alright. I’ll lend you my spare underwear that I brought from home.”
The two of them were talking through ‘telepathy.’ Kazumi took the underwear out of her bag and handed it to Dorothy.
”…Sorry, but with my butt size, it might be tight for Dorothy…”
Kazumi is also on the bigger side, but she doesn’t say that. Dorothy stands up to try it on, so I quickly turn around.
”Yeah. You’re a gentleman, Hiroya. ──But it looks tight. …Though that’s kind of sexy.”
Even though I tried not to look, Kazumi says something that makes my imagination run wild. Did she notice me turning red?
”Oh, sorry, sorry. I just imagined it.”
She laughs. Please, give me a break.

For now, we returned to the inn and talked to the owner to get the best room, which has 3 rooms. We have plenty of money left over just from the demon hunting fees, so it’s not a problem.
”Actually, just from completing requests since we got back to the village, we’ve made quite a bit of money.”
Kazumi spoke with a businesswoman’s face. The hunt for the snow wolf pack has been a good source of income. We don’t have much use for it besides maintaining our weapons and armor, though.
We explained the situation to Liz and the others in the room, packed our things, and moved to the new room.
”Hey, hey, I didn’t know there was such a nice room in this inn!”
Liz exclaimed happily.
”I’ve been using this place since I teamed up with Ares and Garm, but I didn’t know about this room.”
Liz said that and placed her bags in the corner before going to check out the bedroom.
”Rena, since you said you wanted to go home… I guess we’ll have to stay overnight another time. What a shame.”
Rena looked really disappointed as she sat on the living room sofa.
”It seems like there’s a bath too… but we’re going to the hot springs, right?”
Martina seemed to have checked out the bathroom.
”Having a bath means this room is probably for important guests.”
Kazumi took out a kuksa-style cup from her bag and headed to the kitchen with her favorite ‘Elf’s tea leaves.’
”Hey! There are 4 big beds! And 2 rooms! That makes 8 beds in total!”
”An 8-person room, huh? It really must be for an important delegation. No wonder it costs so much.”
I also placed my bags down and sat on the sofa. Seeing me, Dorothy sat down on the sofa too.
──Rip!
As soon as I sat down, there was a popping sound, and Dorothy jumped up in a panic.
”Oh… you were still wearing the small underwear.”
At my mumble, Dorothy nodded with a tearful expression. She took out some underwear from the larger bag that Kazumi had bought for her and disappeared into the bedroom.
”Huh? Did she underwear rip? …What happened, Hiroya?”
Liz, who was sitting on the sofa, asked, so I quietly told her what happened in my room.

”Did the crotch tattoo activate…? Did the medicine work?”
In response to Liz’s question, I could only answer, “I don’t know.”
”…I heard Hiroya hurriedly gave it to her mouth-to-mouth. Apparently, that’s when she… So, we don’t know if the medicine worked or if she calmed down after that.”
Kazumi, who had brewed tea and brought it to the living room, explained.
”I see… we really can’t take our eyes off Dorothy now. If there’s another guy besides Hiroya, it could be a big problem.”
Rena took a sip of her tea.
”Tomorrow, Martina and I will keep a close guard.”
Liz said, and Martina nodded in agreement.
”We also need to make sure Dorothy has a water bottle.”
While they were talking, Dorothy, who seemed to have changed her underwear, returned to the living room. She shyly handed the torn underwear to Kazumi.
”It can’t be helped. It was really tight.”
Kazumi laughed as she said that.
”Here, have some tea.”
She offered Dorothy a cup from the room’s supplies.
”Oh, and this too.”
She took something out of her waist pouch and handed it to Dorothy. Dorothy opened what was given to her and her face lit up with joy.
”This is a token of friendship I made. I made it with my mother when I got home earlier.”
It was a wooden pendant that we also received during summer vacation.
”I tried carving ‘wood’ since you’re an elf, but…”
Kazumi’s words made Dorothy smile and nod her head over and over again.
”Look, I’ll put it on you.”
Kazumi placed a pendant around Dorothy’s neck. Then, Dorothy held the pendant that was hanging from her own neck and stared at it closely.
”See, we all have one too!”
Liz showed Dorothy her rose pendant. I, along with Rena and Martina, also showed our pendants to Dorothy. Suddenly, Dorothy’s eyes filled with tears.
”Oh, right! I have something for you, DorDor!”
Martina took Dorothy’s hand and tied something around her wrist.
”Oh, it’s a friendship bracelet!”
It’s the one Martina got as a prize at the ‘Dragon God Festival.’ We all got matching ones tied on us.
”I got one too! Martina worked really hard on it after we got back to the room, you know?”
Liz proudly showed off the bracelet on her wrist.
”I made it myself… It’s not pretty, but…”
Dorothy shook her head vigorously at Martina’s words. Tears were already flowing from her misty eyes.
”Thank you! I will treasure it. Now, Dorothy is part of our group… our family!”
Rena hugged Dorothy tightly. Then Kazumi, Martina, and Liz joined in. I also hugged Dorothy.
”Welcome! To our party!”
We were so happy that we all started crying together.
