”Huh? Big Brother Hiroya isn’t waking up.”
”Darn… even his beloved Lady Kazumi’s kiss didn’t work.”
”It’s Rena’s turn. …I’m too embarrassed for my lips, so can I do it on his cheek?”
”Sure.”
”Mwah.”
”He’s still not waking up…”
”Then, it’s Dorothy’s turn.”
”Can I do it on the lips?”
”No intense ones, okay?”

”…He’s still not waking up… is it okay if it’s my turn next?”
”Rena did it, so Martina, you do it, too!”
”Muchu~♡.”
(Hmm… someone is kissing me… Liz?)
No, this is a different, mochi-like feeling on my lips…
”…Martina…? What’s wrong?”
”Ah, Martina wins.”
When I wake up, all the girls in my party, except Liz, are peering into my face.
”My kiss… woke you up…~♡.”
Martina’s eyes, red with embarrassment, are moist.
”Come on! We have to go to school. Rena came to wake you up early.”
Kazumi pulls me out of bed by the hand.
”Mr. Hiroya, good morning.”
”Oh, good morning, Dorothy. Is your throat okay?”
A refreshing breeze blew through the trees, carrying a beautiful voice.
”Last night’s hot spring and the medicine I drank this morning made me feel a lot better,”
said Dorothy with a bright smile.
”Hey Hiroya, just take a quick bath.”
Rena said, pushing me gently off the bed. Liz was still sleeping on that bed.
”Shouldn’t we wake Liz up?”
”It’s fine. Let’s leave the big sister (for now) alone.”
Even though she said that, Kazumi was actually smiling, not angry at all.
”Big Sister Liz… I’m glad for you…”
Martina gently stroked Liz’s cheek as she slept.

”It’s been a while since the 3 of us walked to school together.”
Kazumi said, holding my right hand.
”Yeah, they said we should go to school 3 days a week, but since Rena and the others came back to the village, we’ve hardly been able to go.”
Rena replied while holding my left hand.
”Today, the 3 of us have a test. Papa said so yesterday.”
”A test, huh? Well, I graduated from college in my past life, so it should be no problem.”
But it seems like only the 3 of us have a test… Since we haven’t been attending classes, I guess it’s a check on our knowledge.

”Hey! Hiroya! Today was a school day!”
Jan called out from behind. His usual group was with him.
”So, are you okay? Did you get hurt or anything?”
”Not at all, Jan. I feel a bit underwhelmed, actually.”
”Really? Oh, by the way, you were the ones who took down the ‘Man Hunters,’ right?”
”Yeah. I got lost in the snow and ended up hiding in the forest when I ran into them.”
Jan laughed, “I knew it.”
”Those guys were caught by patrolling soldiers while writhing in pain in the forest and were sent to the capital. They’ll probably get the death penalty.”
”Yeah, they killed elf men and kidnapped women. It’s only natural.”
”My dad said the guild is offering a reward. We made some money again. I better treat you next time!”
Jan patted my shoulder and ran ahead to the school building.
”Rena, we should hurry too.”
The 3 of us ran, still holding hands.

Even though it was a school day, the 3 of us had tests in different classrooms from the first period.
The questions were probably from the advanced class, not meant for third graders. I could solve them, though.
”Everyone got full marks.”
Miss Maria said, looking at us in disbelief.
”These were advanced class questions, but really, what are you guys?”
She said, smiling a little.
”With this, you all are exempt from classes for a while… Focus on your work as adventurers.”
Ah, this must be an order from either my father, my master, or the principal, Ms. Milia, who is known as ‘Sage.’
”Still, I’m against you all challenging dungeons…”
The teacher murmured softly.
”Even though you’re talented, you’re still kids… It’s too dangerous… I was hoping you would fail the advanced class questions…”
She adjusted her glasses slightly.
”You will attend the next class, right? Let’s move to the classroom.”
We stood up to head to our usual classroom.

”The teacher looked sad…”
Kazumi sighed as she sat down.
”…We need to clear the dungeon and get back to school soon.”
Rena said, trying to sound cheerful.
”Yeah. For that, we have to work hard since we got exempted from classes.”
With just one more hour of class, we won’t be coming to school for a while. At least for the last time…
”I won’t sleep in this class; I’ll focus!”
”Of course!”
”Alright! I got tsukkomi from both sides.”
