A man’s body fell down weakly, his head missing.
It was clear he had been attacked from behind.
Well, this was bound to happen.
I looked behind the man and saw that I had removed the Magic Armor covering her.
*Huff, splash*
”Wha!? Ferris!”
””Wha!?””
When the Magic Armor disappeared, the blood on her right hand fell, and everyone turned to look at Ferris as she appeared.
I had secured the man and brought her back here, keeping her behind him.
I didn’t do this to have her finish him off; I just wanted to save on magic power by only unbinding her. But, well… it ended up like this.
I had expected this, and I could have avoided it.
But honestly… if Ferris didn’t do it, I was planning to take his head myself.
I only promised to ask Ferris to spare him.
I threatened to kill him if he refused my offer, but I never said I wouldn’t kill him if he accepted.
I know it’s not good to trick someone, but his skills were too dangerous, and I had already seen them misused right in front of me, so there was no way I could “forgive” him here.
There might be others with similar abilities, but… for them, this was a mission they couldn’t afford to fail, and if they had multiple people, they would have brought at least one more with them.

Then, she picked up the dead body of the man who had controlled her with one hand and gave instructions to Ms. Luka and the others.

”Go back to the base. I’ll handle the rest.”

Her eyes and voice were filled with anger and killing intent, so Ms. Luka didn’t argue and ordered everyone to return to the base.
As I watched the “Silver Orchid” members head back to the base, Ferris told me to go back too.
”You should go back too. You’ll just be in the way.”
’…Understood. But, I want Ulgar to be captured alive, as “Lady Charlotte” requested.’
”Tch!”
Since there were no people around, I mentioned it was an order from the princess, and Ferris clicked her tongue and looked at “Gem Snake.”
”…Then, collect that man just like the others. Once this is over, I’ll crush that hand to pieces.”
She pointed to the man she was holding.
She must be really angry about being attacked by Taia and having her chest grabbed.
Well, as long as he’s not dead, it shouldn’t be a problem, and I’m not going to stop her.
Following Ferris’s orders, I got ready to reel in Ulgar and quickly finished my preparations.

Saying that, Ferris threw the dead body she was holding over the wall and jumped in after it.

The men from “Gem Snake” noticed the headless body flying over the wall… and immediately realized what was happening when Ferris followed it.
The “Murder Princess” was free now.
”!? Don’t let her get close! Move!”
Seeing her free, Ulgar’s face changed as he ordered everyone to hold back while he tried to escape.

With that order, Aaron pointed his left hand at Ferris, and her feet sank into the ground.

Ms. Luka and others welcomed her, using buckets of water and wet cloths to wipe her down roughly.

From her tone, it seemed Ferris wasn’t bleeding herself; all the blood was from “Gem Snake.”
From what I saw from the fence, the weight Aaron had put on her seemed to be released when he died, so she probably had no trouble fighting.

Ferris then asked Ms. Luka.
”What about Taia?”

Ms. Luka, who usually speaks in a more masculine tone to support the women here, replied like that.
Hearing that, Ferris…
Grabbed my arm.
”Then let’s ask her directly. That’ll be quicker.”
And she dragged me to Taia and Ms. Anju.

”Oh, you’ve returned.”
As we entered the tent where Taia was resting, led by Ferris who had given orders about Ulgar’s capture, Ms. Anju welcomed us.
Taia was lying on one of the beds at the back, seemingly asleep, and considering her bare shoulder, she looked almost n*ked.
I thought it might be better for me to step out, but before I could, Ferris started talking about Taia.
”I heard there’s a problem with her energy, but her injuries are healed, right?”
”Yes. However, I had to use my skill because it was urgent, so it seems it was tough for Ms. Taia, who didn’t have a lot of energy to begin with.”
”There’s a story about someone who fell off a horse and suddenly died a few days later. If she hit her head, we should hurry to heal her. So, is her life in danger?”
”Not really sure yet. Healing magic can only fix wounds, and to get her strength back, she needs food and rest. But in this condition…”
”She can’t eat, so it’s tough, right?”
”Yeah. I tried to mix some food into water to give her, but she couldn’t take it because she’s not conscious.”

Ferris regrets not making the guy who controlled her suffer before killing him after asking Ms. Anju about Taia’s condition.
But Ms. Anju shakes her head.
”No, it was the right choice since he could have controlled you again. We didn’t even know when you were controlled, so there was no way to avoid it.”
”You’re right… well, instead, I’ll just make that Ulgar guy suffer.”

As Ferris cracks her knuckles, Ms. Anju and Ms. Luka smile awkwardly. Suddenly, Ferris points at me.
”Oh, by the way. Anju, can you tell this guy about your skills?”

I was brought here to be explained Taia’s condition, but since I already heard about it, I didn’t really need to know more.
Just as I was about to say I didn’t need to know, Ms. Anju easily agreed to explain her skills.
”Sure. Since Mr. Mose has helped us so much, I don’t think he’s trying to do anything bad. Plus, he just tried to refuse when you tell him about my skills, right?”

After Ms. Anju and Ferris said that, Ms. Luka sighed lightly.

Hearing that, Ms. Anju nodded and started explaining her skills to me.

She gave a rough explanation of the skill called “Promote Heal” and looked at Taia, who was lying down in the back.

Following Ferris, Ms. Anju and Ms. Luka are also begging me.
I don’t know why, but it seems like Taia is really important to them.
I worry if it’s okay for Ms. Anju, the Cleric, to say anything goes… but, well, there’s Seria’s case, so I’ll set that aside for now.
Since I helped out, I remember when I met as “Koji,” she mentioned there would be another chance next time.
