Ms. Anju, the Cleric, used a skill that makes healing magic work better by using up the patient’s energy first.
Taia’s injuries healed completely, but she became weak because she didn’t have much energy to begin with.
So, I asked Ferris and the others for help, and we decided to give Taia the energy drink I usually drink. But it turns out Taia could only take a tiny bit of food that was mashed up and mixed with water.
That means she might not be able to drink the energy drink either, so we needed to think of a different way to give it to her.
I wasn’t sure if this method was common in this world, but since Ms. Anju is a healer, it made sense to let her handle it.
’This medicine isn’t easy to prepare, and it’s better to give it to her without spilling.’
”Well, then maybe mouth-to-mouth would be best.”
When I said that, Ms. Anju quickly understood that this method was used here too.
She mentioned that they were going to try giving Taia her food that way when we arrived.
That was fine, but when I tried to hand her the energy drink bottle, she stopped me with her hand and refused to take it.
Then she turned her hand over, palm up, towards Taia.
”Here you go~♪”
’Even if you say that… I think you’re more qualified since you’re the Cleric.’
Even though it was to help someone, it’s safer to let the right person handle it.
In my past life, even good doctors could get accused of harassment, so I wanted to avoid any risks, even if Taia wasn’t like that.

Seeing Taia breathe weakly made me realize that time might be running out.
Even though Ms. Anju smiled and suggested mouth-to-mouth, I could see she was also worried. I thought I should just do it myself.
So, I took off the voice changer I was wearing and lifted my helmet to give her the energy drink without choking her.

As I sat Taia up, the sheets slipped down, revealing her bare upper body. But I didn’t care about that right now; I pressed the drink to her lips.

I slipped my tongue into Taia’s mouth and slowly poured the energy drink in.
It seemed to work well because she started to regain her strength with each sip. After about 3 sips, Taia opened her eyes.
Before I pulled away…
”Ugh, ugh, huh?”
Oh no, did she find it gross?
I had tried to hide my face from her, but we ended up making eye contact.
She probably didn’t realize I was helping her and might think I was a stranger who attacked her while she was unconscious.
Thinking about that, I pulled away and showed her the energy drink bottle to explain.

She answered simply, but then she looked at me for a moment before speaking again.

Was she still not strong enough to drink by herself?
Well, that’s fine.
An adult can usually drink one bottle a day, so since she wanted more, I took another sip from the bottle.
”Here.”

”Ugh… ugh, ugh… slurp.”
”Huh?”
She finished the energy drink in her mouths, but Taia’s tongue was still moving, trying to get more from me.
Maybe she wanted more of the drink.
But now that I knew the drink was working, I felt a bit more relaxed and started to pay attention to her body.
I noticed that Taia’s large chest, which had been exposed, was now different from when she was unconscious; her n**ples were hard and sticking out.
So, this guy saw me messing around with Ferris while she was hiding in the bushes.

Taia licked her lips and made a disappointed sound, but I needed her to understand the situation.

Ferris was grinning, and Ms. Anju and Ms. Luka were smiling at her, even though they were a bit red.
When Taia noticed, she covered herself with the sheets to hide.

”By the way, what’s the situation?”
She popped her head out and asked seriously about what was happening.
For now, after making sure she drank the rest of the energy drink by herself, Taia got an apology from Ferris for hurting her and asked about what happened after that… She easily forgave Ferris and then looked at me.
”Since you helped me and even gave me a medicine to recover my strength quickly… I have to do my best to thank you.”
*Swish, squish…*
She casually moved the sheets covering her chest and emphasized it by squeezing it.
Seeing that, Ferris and Ms. Anju got inspired.
”Ah, then I’ll join too.”
”Me too. Just a moment, please.”
They started to take off their clothes, but Ms. Luka quickly stopped them.
”Wait, wait! It’s fine to do it, but here?!”
Oh, it seems like they don’t want to stop doing it altogether.
But this is just a tent, and if they do it, everyone outside will hear them.
That seemed to bother them, and the two who were about to undress stopped.

Ferris should know that they can’t really do anything in the end… but maybe they still want to make some noise.
I wondered if Ms. Anju, as a Cleric, should be doing this, but since there’s Seria’s example, it might be okay.
Ms. Luka looked a bit exasperated at their responses, but she understood the 3 of them and made a suggestion.
”Well, if things had gone on like that, it would have been really tough for the 3 of you, and I would have ended up in a similar situation too, so I get how you feel. That’s why… I think it’s only fair to create an environment where you can enjoy yourselves as a thank you.”

It seemed like the 3 of them understood that, and they gave up on thanking me right here.
It’s good that things calmed down for now, but now I’m a bit worried about going back to town.
I haven’t given my address, but I plan to meet Charlotte for some business, and there’s a good chance I’ll run into Ferris and the others.
If they invite me or follow me back to my lodging, that could be a problem.
Even if I try to sneak away, Ferris would probably still see me.
So, it all depends on how negotiations go.
If my demands are met, I can use that as an excuse to decline any thanks, and if not, I can negotiate for money or magic stones.
I’ve heard that the funds for “Silver Orchid” are pretty tight, but I’m willing to accept installment payments.

After that, Ferris said she would supervise the recovery of the “Gem Snake” items outside the base, and Ms. Luka left the tent to keep an eye on Ulgar.
Taia said she was feeling better, but just to be safe, we decided to let her rest, and Ms. Anju stayed with her.
Since I had some free time, I was guided by a female guard through the busy base, where the women were moving around quickly after hearing about our return tomorrow, and I headed to Iris and Seria’s tent to explain the situation to them.
”Anyway, we don’t have to worry too much about the ‘Gem Snake’ anymore, right? What are we going to do about the different appearances?”
”Uh…”
I tilted my head at Iris when she asked that.
Now that I think about it, Ferris and the others hadn’t really brought up my true identity in a weird way.
When I gave Taia a nutrient drink through mouth-to-mouth, I accidentally spoke in my real voice without the voice changer.
I did put the voice changer back on and hid my face afterward, but no one really questioned me about it.
Well… Ferris probably knows everything, and Taia saw my face, while Ms. Luka and Ms. Anju heard my voice.
It’s better to assume they have a good idea of what’s going on.
I think they won’t share this with Ms. Sheila, who wasn’t there, but that would leave her feeling left out, and it could cause some tension.
Considering the future, I don’t want that, so I might as well let her know too, which means there’s no point in hiding my identity from the others.
That’s probably why I felt okay accepting their thanks.
That’s fine, but about my future appearances, I shouldn’t use “Mose” or “Fraud.”
Just because of this incident, the Norland family might not give up on this town, and if that happens, their people will likely continue their activities here.
”Fraud” will definitely be targeted, and it’s better to think that someone watching from a distance will connect “Mose” to “Fraud,” which could cause trouble since it would be known that “Mose” was clearly an enemy.
Especially, I should avoid approaching places like the orphanage as “Mose.”
They might look into my past visits, but I can just say I was there for Ms. Monoka.
As for delivering magic stones… I’ll continue doing that in my real form.
As “Koji,” I have a history of searching for rooms with Ms. Monoka, and I even stayed in my room, so it wouldn’t be weird for me to visit the orphanage she runs.
Plus, I can say that “Mose” got rejected by Ms. Monoka because of “Koji.”
If I’m with Iris and the others, it’s also better to drop the “Mose” appearance.
It all started when Iris took down part of the “Gem Snake” that attacked her, and I took on that form to help her.
At least for now, it doesn’t seem like she’ll be targeted for revenge, so there’s no need for her to be with “Mose.”
In fact, it might make it more likely for “Mose” to be seen as a target by others.
I plan to say that I got rejected by Iris too, but it’s complicated since I’m trying to go after 2 girls at the same time and ended up getting rejected by both.
Using my last name from my previous life makes it feel even more complicated.
But anyway, I should probably cut ties with “Hooters” too, and saying I left town because I got rejected could be a reasonable excuse.
For now, I told Iris and the others my current thoughts and reassured them that it wouldn’t affect their goals.
