(Gisela’s POV)
In the evening, I returned to the village and headed straight to the guild.
I reported the adventurers who were acting like bandits and explained the situation.
”Ms. Liz’s party will testify.”
”I see… So it’s about the ‘underground quest’ from Reedull’s guild. I heard the guild in the capital is improving, but the other local guilds are still corrupt.”
The guild master of Razia Village said this with a bitter expression.
”Ah, sorry. I’ll have to talk to Liz and Hiroya when they get back. This will probably become a case for the Guardian Knight, so if they call you for questioning, please cooperate.”
Saying this, he handed over 2 gold coins.

”Even though he’s a boy, many young adventurers look up to him like an older brother.”
That was solid information.
Now for the rumors.
”Guardian Knight Lord Müller’s only daughter, Kazumi, is his fiancée.”
”However, all the women in the party are in love with Hiroya.”
”The leader, Liz, is definitely Hiroya’s girlfriend.”

On the way, we didn’t run into any monsters and continued our journey smoothly.
By the time the sun was setting, we made it out of the forest and onto the town road.

”By getting through the forest, we saved half a day of travel.”
Liz and Dorothy said that as they rode side by side.
”Should we go a bit further and set up camp?”
Martina, who was ahead, turned back.
”Yeah. Let’s have one last sprint!”
Liz spurred her horse, Kage.

By the time the sun completely set, we finished setting up the tent and were ready to camp.
”Speaking of which, it was the second night we were attacked by an ‘incubus’ on our way to the capital.”
After dinner, Liz murmured as we relaxed around the campfire.
”Really? That happened?”
”Yeah. Four high-level ones. Because of that, everyone else──coachmans, guard adventurers, and merchants──are all dead…”
Liz started telling Dorothy about the incident, who looked a bit surprised.

Martina smiled at Dorothy, who looked sad.

I stood up and got on Haya’s back.

Dorothy added wood to the campfire.
”Yeah. And there were youma (demons) too. The one that showed up at my place disguised itself as Hiroya and Martina.”
I stared at the flames, remembering that time. It was really close. If Hiroya hadn’t been there…
”I was already under their ‘seduction’ spell in the carriage… while fighting them, I got hit with lust.”
”I was fine!”
”…Martina wasn’t in the carriage, though.”
I smiled wryly at Martina, who was laughing brightly.

Dorothy said in awe.
”I shot one with an enchanted arrow right in the eye. For the other one, I was so weak I could barely move. I was about to be attacked… If Hiroya hadn’t been there, I would have been pregnant by an incubus by now.”
Just remembering that moment made me shiver, but I managed to laugh as I talked.
”Well, after that, I caught Hiroya and made him comfort me with his hands.”

Dorothy and Aluda turned red and covered their mouths with their hands.

Martina, that’s not what I meant!

I ignored Aluda, who looked confused, and kept talking.

”By the way, are you okay? Next is you, Dorothy, and if you want, maybe tonight…”
”No, when I think about Mr. Hiroya… I feel kind, but I’m not feeling any desire… last night was… pretty intense, so I’d like him to get some rest tonight.”
”Yeah, Big Brother Hiroya looked sleepy.”
Dorothy and Martina giggled and looked at me.

Feeling their gazes, I shrugged and shrank a little. Aluda kept tilting her head in confusion.
