Ms. Sasha went back to prepare for setting up a proper merchant guild in this village.
Kazumi said,
”If you get tired, feel free to ‘come back’ anytime.”
She replied,
”Okay, I’m off.”
After that, Kazumi, Rena, Liz, and Martina all left the mansion for their own errands.
(It feels like it’s been a while since I just spent a day relaxing…)
While I was taking it easy like that, Gorge and Asuka came to visit. Oh right, Asuka has seen ‘Hiroya.’ I need to explain things properly…
”Hmm? Where are the ladies?”
Gorge, who was led to the living room in the dining area by Ms. Hanna, asked me as I sat on the sofa.
”Kazumi and Rena went out for a bit. Dorothy is at the blacksmith Freeberry. Liz and Martina went to the guild.”
”…the guild, huh? Did they go to handle a request just the two of them?”
”No, they said they’re learning various things from Marty (the thief). Liz is getting taught about detection and traps, while Martina is learning skills as an assassin.”
I answered Asuka like that and guided them to the open space on the second floor.
”Oh, Noo, you don’t need to worry about entertaining them. I’ll serve tea upstairs.”
After calling out to the wolf maid with white hair and blue highlights, I headed upstairs.

”Now, I need to explain a lot of things…”
I encouraged the two to sit down and started making tea.
”About that, Hiroya…”
”?”
”I’m not going to insist you explain everything. You probably have your own reasons. But if you think it’s okay for Gorge to hear, then we’d like to listen together.”
While pouring the tea, I thought for a moment.
”…Gorge is my disciple, no matter his purpose. It’s better for him to know.”
I handed the cups of tea to the two of them.

I explained that I am a ‘reincarnator’ and that I can show my appearance from my previous life, and that what Asuka saw was my form and power from before. I didn’t mention Kazumi and Rena.

I took a sip of tea.

I leaned back on the sofa, looking up at the high ceiling.

”Yes. So, I have a favor to ask Asuka.”
”I won’t refuse your request──just say it.”

Gorge hurriedly interrupted.
”…Just kidding, Gorge. I want Asuka to teach me some thrusting techniques.”
”You have thrusts in your swordsmanship too, right?”
”Not really──’Obu Muso Style’ is a one-hit kill sword technique. It’s rare in Iaido to have a ‘third strike’ as a form, but…”
”You want to learn thrusts that overwhelm with numbers? Asuka is good at that, right?”
Asuka nodded at my request, and we decided to start training tomorrow.

”So, what are you going to do, Gorge? Are you going to settle down here?”
After finishing the conversation that needed to be kept private, I asked Gorge while moving to the living room downstairs.
”I like this village where Master is. If I can, I’d like to settle down here with Asuka.”

Asuka blushed and punched Gorge in the back. Poor Gorge ended up falling from the landing to the first floor…

”For now, you should go to the guild. They’ll help you with settling down there.”
”So this guild does that kind of work too, huh?”
Gorge accepted the cold wet towel from Noo and applied it to his head, which he had apparently bumped on the floor. I sipped the tea that NooNoo had prepared.
”If the village grows bigger, we’ll need to set up a reception desk to handle village affairs. There’s a limit to what the guild can handle.”
Kazumi had already proposed this to Dad. A town hall-like facility should be established soon.

”There are still some vacant houses around here, right?”

Asuka looked down shyly when Gorge asked her.

Both Gorge and I burst out laughing, accidentally spraying the tea that NooNoo had carefully prepared.
”What? What’s so funny?”
”Asuka, you were making a face like a maiden!”
”Yeah, I was surprised too. By the way, I remember you chatting happily with Liz and the others.”
”Gorge! Let’s go to the guild and hear what they have to say!”
Asuka pulled on Gorge’s arm and stood up.
”Master, thank you for the meal! We’re coming! We’re on our way!”
The two of them hurried out.

Before dinner, Kazumi and Rena returned. They had apparently asked the ladies at the brōtḥel to test out the prototype of the ‘magic tool adult goods.’

The whispers of 2 beautiful girls echo in my brain through my right and left ears. I couldn’t help but let out a strange sound.

While this was happening, Liz, Martina, and Dorothy came back.
”We met at the guild, so we came back together.”
”I worked up a sweat, can I take a bath first?”
Liz and Martina headed straight for the bath.
”By the way, Dorothy… did you change your armor?”
I stopped Dorothy, who was about to follow the two into the bath.
”Did you notice?”
Dorothy turned back with a happy look.
”Ms. Aluda and the others made new parts for my arms and legs!”
Yeah. It definitely looks bulkier. The gauntlet part is what you’d call a real gauntlet.
”They made it specialized for fighting.”
Saying that, Dorothy showed off some martial arts moves.
So that’s why it’s easier for her to show off her skills.
Maybe she was happy that I noticed, as Dorothy skipped off toward the bath.
Kazumi, Rena, and I also headed to the bath for the second time today, and while we were relaxing after our bath… a visitor showed up.
