”After breakfast, let’s head to the guild.”
Kazumi suggests this to everyone, sitting in front of the prepared breakfast.
”About the clan… you’re forming one, right?”
Kazumi glances at Liz, who is sitting diagonally across from her.
”…I’m a bit worried if I can pull it off. But, you figured it out well. I decided to form a clan.”
Kazumi takes a bite of her bread while smiling at the puzzled Liz with a “Hehe~.”
”Well, that’s the plan. Just like Kazumi said, we’re all going to the guild.”

”Hiroya, you really cheered Liz up, huh?”
During the meal, Kazumi whispers in my ear.
”──!”
”It’s fine. I’m not going to blame Liz for ‘sneaking off again!’ She seemed to be really troubled, so I think it was a good time. You’re something else, Hiroya.”
”…I can’t hide anything from Kazumi.”
”Well, I just happened to see Liz getting cozy in front of the fireplace.”
So I was being watched… of course, after that…
”Up to the part where you carried Liz to her room like a princess. I didn’t peek after that, so don’t worry.”
After whispering in a small voice, Kazumi flashed a mischievous smile.

”W-w-wait, you’re forming a clan?!”
As soon as breakfast ended, Karina jumped in with her question, as if she had been waiting for it. She probably held back on chatting during the meal because of her upbringing as a princess.
”I got a proposal from the Guild Master. Well, it seems the one pulling the strings behind the scenes was the Minister of War.”
Liz takes a sip of her coffee and answers bitterly. It’s hard to tell if it’s because she’s thinking of Elberhardt or if the coffee is just that bitter.
”I understand that forming a clan has a big meaning in terms of protecting and nurturing beginner adventurers──especially female adventurers.”
”Y-yes, of course, we… we can join too, right?”
Karina leans forward from the table, getting close to Liz.
”We’re good, but… what about Gièze?”
”By the way, is Gièze okay?”
Kazumi mentions Gièze’s name, and Karina remembers Gièze collapsing in the bathroom and asks her.
”Well, she woke up once, but… she passed out again… so, I’ll decide now. I won’t let Gièze say no.”
”Then Rena’ll go wake her up. Anyway, you guys have business with the guild too, right? Like changing your registration names.”
Rena says that and walks towards the stairs. Right, Dad’s scandal (well, it’s a lie) is going to be exposed. …Hang in there, Dad.
”Of course, me and Gorge are joining too, right?”
Asuka, who was helping clean up after the meal, peeks at Liz. Since moving to Razia Village with Gorge, she wants to be able to do some housework. So, she was helping Ms. Hanna with breakfast. It’s kind of sweet.
”It would really help me if you two join. …Is that okay?”
”Definitely. I owe you guys, but… the main reason is that I like you all.”
…She says ‘like’ without hesitation, but her cheeks are slightly flushed, which is cute.
”Well♡”
”I like you too, Asu-Asu!”
Dorothy smiles with her hand on her cheek, and Martina beams at Asuka.
”Suu, Noo, and Uu have to go to the guild too.”
Kazumi claps her hands as if she just remembered.
”Right. They need to register as adventurers and work hard as clan members… but──.”
Dorothy thinks for a moment.
”──Is the name Suu, Noo, Uu okay?”
”Ah… that’s true. It might be a bit weird.”
But then again, changing the name now would be odd.
”””No problem!”””
The 3 respond cheerfully.
”That’s a special name given to me by Lady Kazumi!”
”I really like it!”
”I’m not changing it~.”
Suu, No, and Uu all said that.
”Then it’s settled. What about Aluda and the others?”
”Should we stop by their place before heading to the guild?”
And so, the plan to go to the guild was set.
Including the 3 dwarf sisters, we now had a total of 16 people… quite a big group to start with.

We split into a carriage and on horseback, heading to the guild. Gièze didn’t oppose as much as I thought, saying, “If Karina thinks it’s good, then I’m fine with it,” so joining the clan was decided.
We stopped by the blacksmith, and when I talked to Aluda, Eluda, and Meluda about the clan, they said, “Of course we’ll join. I mean, not joining isn’t even an option, right?” It seemed like Eluda and Meluda’s new armor was ready, so they quickly got equipped, and the 3 sisters followed along.
After that, we met up with Asuka, who had gone ahead to call Gorge, and finally opened the guild door.
Leading the way, Liz took us into the guild.
”Oh, it’s Liz. I heard you were forming a clan…”
”Are all these guys members…?”
”Whoa, it’s full of beauties!”
”That beastfolk maid is super cute!”
”I definitely want to join…”
”Idiot, if you have ulterior motives, Hiroya will cut you down!”
The adventurers on the floor buzzed with excitement.
”Guild Master… they’ve arrived.”
”Hey Liz… looks like you’ve made up your mind.”
The Guild Master grinned.
”Well, first, I need you to register 3 new adventurers.”
Liz waved over Suu, No, and Uu.
”Registering… these maid sisters, huh?”
”””Please take care of us!”””
”Alright… got it. Miyori! Bring the crystal orb!”

”All 3 of you… rank C… really?”
”Well, I guess that’s about right?”
I felt a bit proud too.
”Also… we’d like to change our registration names, please.”
Gièze pulls Karina’s hand and steps forward.
”Isn’t that Gisela and Karin? Changing your registered name?”
”…There’s a reason I’ve been hiding my real name. I think if you hear my true name, you’ll understand why…”
Gièze explains calmly.
”W-well, my real name is… Karina… Karina O’Brian.”
”O’Brian!?”
”Guild Master, Karina is my sister. ── We have different mothers.”
I relay this to the Guild Master as Elberhardt instructed.
”──! So, she’s… Sir Shinji’s hidden child!?”
”Guild Master, you’re being too loud!”
”And I’m her long-time friend, Gièze Jäger. I’m sorry for using a fake name. But… do you understand the situation now?”
Gièze says this, and the Guild Master nods with his mouth open. I can see Liz and the others behind me trying to hold back their laughter.
”So, using the name O’Brian means…”
”Y-yes! I got my father’s permission, so…”
”I see… understood. I’ll take care of the paperwork.”
”Also, the two of us want to join Ms. Liz’s clan.”
”R-right. Clan registration, huh?”
The Guild Master remembers and pulls out some documents to hand to Liz.
”First, list the members here.”

”First, is it okay to use the names of the members here? Lotta and Noriss, and I can just call Garm when I see him… but what about the clan name???”
Liz was writing names on the clan registration form but stopped because she hadn’t thought of a clan name.
”Oh, I have an idea…”
Kazumi whispers to Liz.
”Ooh, that’s a good one!”
Liz starts writing again on the form.
”Everyone! How about this?”
In the clan name section, it was written:
’Famière’.
”So, what does it mean?”
Martina asks Liz and Kazumi.
”It means ‘family’ in the language of… another world.”
Kazumi puffs out her chest.
”Famière── in the spirit language, it means ‘shining bond’.”
Dorothy adds with a nod, “That’s a nice name.”
”Alright, it’s settled then! Guild Master! Please take care of this.”

Finally, the clan is formed. Right now, it’s a clan to protect and nurture Karina and Gièze, but…
