”Ah-ha! That’s right! Now let’s try writing in Katakana too.”
Tonight, Ellulu came to my room, learning the words of my world from Ms. Akari.
Since she hopes to study abroad in my world, it seems she needs to learn the language as well.
Well, if Ms. Akari and I hadn’t learned the language of this world, I’m not sure we would have survived until now, so I think it’s important.
”Pap-pa, hoi!”
Karin also mimicked Ellulu, writing something and giving it to me, but of course, it didn’t look like letters at all.
In the midst of that, it seemed someone was at the door.
When I went to check, Mr. Panarail was standing at the entrance.
”Mr. Panarail. You found this place well.
What brings you here at this hour?”
”Y-yes, Mr. Yuuta. I’m sorry for the sudden visit. I had your address, but it’s my first time coming to Downtown, and I got a bit lost… No, no, that’s not it. I thought I needed to tell you something right away, so I came here.”
”Is it that urgent?”
”Yes! It’s very urgent for you.
Sir Tethyrkan stopped by the museum this evening!”
”What? And then?”
”I mentioned you, but it seems he has to return to his country soon, so he said he can’t take his time. However, I managed to persuade him a bit, and he agreed to stop by the museum tomorrow evening before heading back to his territory, even if just for a little while. I thought you’d be happy, so I rushed to let you know!”
”Yuuta. Since he came all this way, it’s not right to talk at the entrance… It’s a bit cramped here, but why don’t you come in?”
Ms. Akari guided Mr. Panarail.
”Haha, yes. If I could just have some water…”
I handed Mr. Panarail some water after he came into the living room and told him to relax.
”Oh, so this is Mr. Yuuta’s human partner and child. And this Beastfolk person is… huh, you’re different from the one who came before, right?”
”Ah-ha, I’m the third wife!”
”Wow! Mr. Yuuta, you have such a lovely wife. I’m so jealous… So, what are you doing here?”
”Oh, this? I’m learning the language of Yuuta’s world! My dream is to study fashion in Yuuta’s world in the future.”
”Language… I see! Why didn’t I realize that before? If I can learn the language of Mr. Yuuta’s world, it will be so much easier to communicate with people. Right. If I could create something like a dictionary…”
Mr. Panarail seems to have completely immersed himself in his own world. He must really love learning.
So, tomorrow evening… finally, I’ll get to meet Mr. Tethyrkan. I’ll probably get a lot of information about the people from this world.
As the sun set, I decided to walk Mr. Panarail to Central Park, just in case something happened if he went home alone.
”Mr. Panarail. Thank you so much for letting me know today.”
”No, it’s because meeting Mr. Tethyrkan has been Mr. Yuuta’s long-held wish, right? You’ve always been so helpful, so this is the least I can do… By the way, about that dictionary. Could Mr. Yuuta help out too?”
”Oh, of course. I’ll help as much as I can. But I have work at the upper mansion, and our language isn’t just one type. Covering all the people who got sent here is… well, if it’s English and Japanese… Oh! My partner, Ms. Akari, works at a trading company dealing with overseas clients, just like my mom, so maybe she can help with English. If you could give me some kind of dictionary format, I could work on it at home, right?”

”Got it. I’ll let you know.”
When I got home, I told Ms. Akari about Mr. Panarail’s idea.
”Wow. I never thought I could work with English in this world.”
Karin is growing up and needs a lot of things, so I really want to ask for your help!
Ms. Akari quickly agreed, and just like that, the creation of our human dictionary began.
