The next evening. I finally got to meet Mr. Tethyrkan at the museum, but it seemed like he was on a tight schedule, so we couldn’t chat for long.
”You must be Yuuta. Sorry, but I don’t have much time before the carriage leaves. Please get to the point quickly.”
I explained to Mr. Tethyrkan how I was brought from another world to this one and told him I wanted to know how to get back to my original world.
”I see. Mister Goetec told me to listen to you. But I’m sorry, I don’t know how to return either.”
As he said this, Mr. Tethyrkan glanced at something that looked like a pocket watch.
”Yuuta. I’m really sorry, but I’m out of time. I need to head to the carriage now.”
Damn it. I wish I could at least hear more about the human teleportation statistics that Mr. Tethyrkan was researching… Maybe I should just follow him to his territory… Ah!
”Um, Mr. Tethyrkan. Is there a specific route you take to get back to your country… or do you pass through Count Mihail’s territory?”
”No, I don’t plan to do that… Do you have some connection with Lord Mihail?”
”Yes. I work at Sir Mihail’s upper residence, so if you’re passing through Ilman… I could borrow a fast horse from the upper residence right now and follow your carriage, hoping to chat a bit along the way…”

I quickly wrote a letter about the current situation and asked Mr. Panarail to take it to Ms. Akari. Then, even though I was just in my clothes, I hopped onto Mr. Tethyrkan’s carriage.
Mr. Tethyrkan’s territory is about a 3-month carriage ride southeast from the Royal Capital. It seems he was suddenly summoned to the Royal Capital by the second prince. Mr. Tethyrkan looked a bit unhappy about being called for such a trivial reason during a busy time, but he also mentioned that meeting Lord Mihail here was a stroke of luck.
”Humans transporting into this world has been a phenomenon for quite a long time, with records dating back at least a thousand years. Since they posed no threat, lacking both power and magic, they were largely ignored. However, about 2 hundred years ago, a group of armed humans teleported into a remote village, causing quite a stir. The country decided to investigate the situation with humans and teleportation, and I was appointed as part of that effort.
I was suitable for the job since I can use telepathy. I was to gather information from the humans who had teleported, and many of them came through what you call a gate. However, the principle behind the gate itself is unknown, and I believe it’s probably some kind of natural phenomenon.”
”But what I experienced was a gate controlled by elves…”
”If that’s true, it means someone has researched the principles of the gate and made it practical. However, I’ve never heard of such a thing, and even if it exists, it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s from this world.”
”…I see… So Mr. Tethyrkan, you’ve been doing that job for 2 hundred years and have interacted with many humans. Recently, where did you come into contact with humans? I also want to meet other humans and have a chat.”
”First of all, I’m no longer doing it as a job. After about 50 years of the country’s investigation, it was deemed to have made no progress and was concluded. However, I found it interesting to listen to humans, so I continue as a hobby.
Actually, your humans tech skills are pretty impressive. Not just magic, but flying in the sky, communicating over long distances, and creating deadly weapons… There was a time when I reported all this and argued that the country should value humans more.

The last time I met a human was… over 5 years ago, I think. It was a guy named Sontsu who was a slave in some noble territory in the northwest. Yeah, he was the one who gave me that thing called a smartphone.”
”Ah, what’s that Mr. Sontsu up to now?”
”If nothing’s changed, he’s probably the same. I hear stories, but I don’t get involved in his life. When the country was investigating, they gathered a lot of human info, but now I can only rely on secondhand information to search for him. Back then, I counted, and there were some years without any teleportation, but usually, a few people were confirmed each year, so I think there are still about that many drifting over here, but I can’t keep track of everything.”
”A few people each year… But there were at least 20 pig-humans at that gate. So, they can teleport that many at once…”
”What’s that? What do you mean by pig-humans?”

So, Mr. Tethyrkan said it was your turn to talk, and he started asking about various things in my world.

After arriving in Ilman, I guided Mr. Tethyrkan to Sir Mihail’s mansion.
”Mr. Yuuta. Today, it seems there’s a private discussion between my husband and Sir Tethyrkan, so both you and I need to step out. Since we’re at it, let’s head to the hotel together.”
Lady Beyond came to call me while saying that.
”Eh, no. Lady Beyond. Cheating is not okay!”
”What are you talking about? You were just getting cozy with Clau-Clau the other day. Or is it that you don’t want to be with an older woman?”
”Ah, I would never say that…”
After that, I headed to the hotel with Lady Beyond, and she went to the Nobility’s exclusive room.
I entered a nostalgic room that felt like a barn for humans.
…But Lady Beyond had given me strict orders, and I was supposed to sneak in at night.
”…Good evening, Lady Beyond. I’m here.”
I whispered as I snuck into the Nobility’s VIP room.
There was only one candle lit in the corner, but my eyes hadn’t adjusted yet, so I couldn’t see well.
”Lady Beyond… I came as you instructed, but can I go home now?”
…No response. Maybe she had fallen asleep. If that’s the case, then lucky me. I should just leave. But the moment I reached for the doorknob to exit,
”Hey, don’t run away!”
I heard Lady Beyond’s voice, and suddenly I was grabbed by the collar and dragged to the bed.
Damn it, is this another prank? But there was a real surprise on the bed.
Huh? Huh! Why is there someone else on the bed?
”Hey, Mr. Yuuta. We were all waiting to treat you, and running away in front of the enemy is a serious crime.”
”B-but, Lady Beyond. Why are there other people…?”
”What’s wrong? Take a good look. You know these faces well, don’t you?”
My eyes finally adjusted, and I started to see what was happening on the bed.
”Huh? Ms. Ruruka. Ms. Minowa!”
Yes. They are the maids who always serve Lady Beyond. But why are they here?
”These girls also want to see how big you are!”
”Eh, no, that’s not… Ms. Ruruka, Ms. Minowa. If you’re being forced by Lady/Mrs. Beyond, this is nothing but sexual harassment, so you can refuse!”
The two of them looked at each other and smirked.
”Haha, it’s okay…”
In the end, I ended up having s*x with the 3 women one after the other.
Surprisingly, while the two Beastfolk ladies were able to easily merge with me, Lady Beyond seemed to be in pain. I was convinced that the urban legend was just that, and it was simply a matter of individual differences.

Lady Beyond said as she asked for a second round. The two handmaidens, who were caressing each other’s private parts and lost in their own world, suddenly turned to me again, eager for more. We spent the night like this, not sleeping a wink, and the 4 of us were entangled in a messy affair.

”Well, Mr. Yuuta. Good job last night. Haha, your eyes are sunken. But youth is great, I couldn’t do that. I’m grateful for your company in comforting my ladies.”
The next morning, as I returned to the lord’s mansion, Sir Mihail approached me with a cheerful face.
Haha, he knows everything.
”Now, Mr. Yuuta. This is an important matter. Let’s call Mr. Tethyrkan too.”
I moved to the office with Sir Mihail, and soon Mr. Tethyrkan was also brought in.
Sir Mihail ordered everyone else out, and Ms. Minowa, who had escorted Mr. Tethyrkan, winked at me as she left the room.

”A military research institute?”

”I see. I was in the military for a while, so I know we’re allied with the Empire. But I didn’t know we were doing joint military research. So, Elves and Orcs are working together… but a joint military research facility is way over my head.”
”That’s the same for us. But the number of Elves working there isn’t that high, so if we put in the effort, we might be able to get some information. For example, we could ask Clau-Clau’s father.”
”Is that so? She should be back here in a few months, so it would be good to ask her.”
”Yeah. As a thank you, you should let her have a few rounds of fun.”
”Sir Mihail! Please don’t tease me. But seriously, why are you going to such lengths for me?”
”Ah, well, it’s not just for you. We have our own reasons. I’m using you as a means to an end. That research facility is heavily influenced by the Duke’s family, and it’s quite a threat to the local lords. So, it might be beneficial if a scandal or 2 comes out. It’s better to investigate with a purpose than to wait for something to fall into our laps.”
Mr. Tethyrkan continues.
”Also, the real issue is why they’re connecting the human world with the gate. From what you heard, they were saying they would invade the human world. If the Empire and the Duke are pushing such a grand plan, that’s a big deal. I’m not sure if the royal family is involved, though… I think I mentioned to you that I once wrote a report to the royal family arguing that we should learn human technology, but I’m worried that it might have leaked to the research facility in a strange way.”
Sigh, so it’s a military joint research institute, huh? Just like a mantis wielding an axe.
For now, I guess I’ll look for the Elf who’s researching the gate, and then I’ll have to ask Sir Mihail and the others for help. But if that Elf turns out to be the one from back then… I’d really want to punch him once, but… no, no, I need to find out what happened to Tomori, my parents, and my world.
But if that world is already destroyed… no way, that can’t be true!
That evening, Mr. Tethyrkan set off towards my territory.
I was strongly urged by Lady Beyond to stay another night, but I told her that staying up for 2 days straight was impossible, so I caught the night express heading to the Royal Capital.
And then, 8 days later.
When I arrived at the Royal Capital, the steward from the upper residence informed me that the current king had passed away.
