”Wow, things really took a turn, huh?”
We both rode Haya and headed home. Behind us, Kazumi whispered shyly.
”Yeah. I never thought Master (Muller) would cry and beg me like that.”

After that, when Mom and I visited Kazumi’s house, master burst out from the entrance and hugged me tightly.
”Hiroya! You and Kazumi have been in love ‘since before you were born’…”
Saying that, master shed tears.
”I talked to the lord too. I want to entrust Kazumi’s future to you… Hiroya. Will you make her happy?”
”Of course!”
”Then the engagement is official.”
Mom smiled happily.
”When you turn 12, you’ll officially be a couple. …I’m looking forward to 3 years from now.”
Dad patted master on the shoulder and smiled. Kazumi’s mom was also shedding happy tears.

”We’re… engaged now.”
”Yeah…”
”We’re basically a couple now…”
No, that feels a bit off…
”Well, it’s just that we’re not old enough, right? Besides, we’re actually 29 and 23 in reality.”
”True, but in 3 years, we can get married properly, so there’s no need to rush.”
”Right.”
Saying that, Kazumi hugged me tightly from behind.
”Speaking of marriage, Kazumi… what’s going on with Gorge and Asuka’s celebration?”
”Leave it to me! The plan is all set. Now that Hiroya is awake and we’ve had our important talk… everyone should be working on it together. Gorge and Asuka are out looking for furniture for their new place, so we’re going to surprise them tonight!”
”That sounds exciting.”
I wanted to help out too, so I urged Haya to hurry to the clan house.

When we got home, the 3 wolf maids, who seemed to be busy running around, stopped to greet us.
”Oh, sure! Keep going, keep going!”
Kazumi calls out to the 3 of them. She bows slightly and then runs off, looking busy with the wolf maids.
”Wow! Amazing…!”
As we enter the dining hall, a large table is filled with dishes. And at the very back…
”A wedding cake! It’s huge!”
”If we have this much, the girls will be satisfied, right… right?”
I asked Kazumi a bit anxiously, but she just stared at the cake with sparkling eyes.
”Oh, Mr. Hiroya, Ms. Kazumi, the food preparations are almost done. All that’s left is…”
From the back of the kitchen, Ms. Hanna and Rena appeared.
”How is it? I helped with this cake too!”
Rena strikes a pose with her hands on her hips, looking proud.
”Yeah! It’s amazing! It’s big and looks delicious!”
Kazumi takes Rena’s hand, excited.
”Ms. Hanna, what else do we need? I can help too.”
”Next, we need the outfits for Ms. Asuka and Mr. Gorge. I believe Ms. Aluda and the others have…”
”Sorry to keep you waiting!”
Just as Ms. Hanna finished speaking, the dining hall door opened, and Aluda, Eluda, and Meluda walked in.
”AsuAsu’s dress is perfect!”
”But, about Gorge’s ‘suit’… is this how it should look?”
Eluda and Meluda presented a large box they were holding.
”We’re going to spread it out in the open space on the second floor, so can you check it out, Hiro and Kazumi?”
Aluda said, pulling us along.
”Yeah. Let’s take a look.”
We headed to the second floor.

”Yeah, yeah! This looks great! It’s really nice. I think it will suit Gorge since he has a good build.”
Kazumi praised the white suit set that was taken out of the box.
”Did Aluda and the others make this?”
”Yep. Aluda and the others are good at sewing too.”
”Then I’ll leave this here in Hiro’s room. You’re using it as the groom’s waiting room, right?”
”That’s right. Hiroya, can we use the room?”
”Sure. It’s just an empty room anyway.”
Kazumi and Aluda disappeared into my room with a smile.
”Well then, the bride’s waiting room is the master bedroom, right? Should we carry the dress, Meluda?”
”Okay, Eluda!”
Since the two of them were carrying the box with the dress, I opened the door for them.
”Oh, the dress has arrived!”
I heard Lotta’s excited voice. Inside, Lotta, Gièze, and Sister Karina were decorating the walls of the master bedroom with white fabric.
”Th, this is the bride’s waiting room, so… we want to make it beautiful… how does it look, Hiroya…?”
Sister Karina asked while holding the chair that Gièze was using as a step stool.
”Yeah. The whole room is white and beautiful. This really highlights the bride’s beauty.”
”But Lord Hiroya… this ridiculously large bedroom and bed…”
As Gièze got down from the chair, she shot me a glare.
”Ev, everyone said, ‘Sometimes we want to sleep together’… and Kazumi made it happen.”
I stumbled over my words.
”Sometimes──really?”
”Yeah, exactly. Sometimes──.”
With a chuckle, Gièze headed toward everyone gathered around the dress box.
(Huh… was I just being teased?)

”Wow! It’s so beautiful!”
”It seems like it would suit Ms. Asuka perfectly.”
”I, I, I want to wear it someday too…”
Lotta exclaimed in awe, while Gièze smiled at the dress. And for some reason, Sister Karina glanced at me.
”Right?”
”This Meluda and the others worked hard on it!”
Eluda and Meluda stood proudly with their hands on their hips.
”By the way, Liz, Martina, Dorothy, Noriss, and… Simona aren’t here either.”
”Liz and Simona went to buy alcohol and drinks. Martina, Dorothy, and Noriss went to help Asuka and the others with their shopping.”
Kazumi answered my question as she entered the master bedroom.
”Then, I just got a ‘Telepathy’ from Dorothy saying, ‘We’re almost at Asuka and Gorge’s new place. After we drop off some stuff, we’ll head back to the clan house right away’.”
”…We need to hurry, don’t we?”
Gièze muttered with a serious look on his face.
”Alright, let’s all head down to the first floor for now. I’ll explain the plan after Asuka and Gorge get back.”
Kazumi grinned.

When we got to the first floor, Liz and Simona were just bringing in the drinks they had bought.
”Oh, let me help.”
I took a wooden crate filled with beer from Simona.
”T-thanks…”
Simona blushed and looked down. …Come to think of it, we haven’t had a chance to talk slowly since ‘that’ happened.
”Seriously, Simona buys way too much alcohol.”
”No way! We need it! I think we might even run outta!”
”But when it comes to drinking with the clan members… it’s just me, you, Dorothy, the Aluda sisters… and Asuka, Gorge, and Gièze, right? Ms. Hanna’s pregnant.”
”Surprisingly, dat’s quite a few… Well, since you and I guzzle a lot, it’s justa rite.”
”Yeah.”
Liz and Simona exchanged grins.
”Th-this is a celebratory occasion, so… I-I’ll also have some alcohol… I-I’ll take some!”
Sister Karina leaned in from behind me, trying to get attention.
”Are you sure about this, Karina?”
”I-I’m fine!”
Sister Karina blushed and pleaded with a worried Gièze.
”Alright, the drinks are over here. I’ve cleared some space in the refrigerator.”
With Ms. Hanna’s guidance, we moved our stuff to the pantry.
(Now, we just have to wait for Asuka and Gorge to come back.)
