Chapter 280 Returning to the Clan House

(Hiroya’s POV)
The injuries all over my body (bruises and probably a few fractures) were healed by Rena’s ‘Healing’ magic, but using that magic drains my stamina, and the worse the injuries are, the more stamina it takes…
”Zzz…”
Asuka, who was in worse shape than me, must have been really drained too.
She’s sleeping soundly next to me.
The carriage is swaying, but soon I was also overtaken by sleep──.

When I came to, I found myself supported by Liz and Dorothy, soaking in the large bath of the Clan House.
”Oh, you’re awake, Hiroya.”
”Mr. Hiroya, I’ve washed your body for you.”
Their smiles were right in front of me.
”I thought about putting you in bed, but I figured soaking in the hot spring would be the best way to recover your stamina.”
”Yeah. I feel a lot better now. This hot spring really is amazing.”
I smiled at Rena, who was soaking in the water right in front of me.
On the other side, Asuka was also in the water, supported by Martina, Aluda, and Meluda.
”I’ve caused everyone trouble. I couldn’t meet everyone’s expectations… I couldn’t do what I was supposed to do.”
”It can’t be helped; that monster was really strong. Hiroya and Aluda managed to take it down, but I heard some of them are ranked S, like the Minotaur. Principal Milia mentioned it.”
Kazumi gently patted Asuka’s head to comfort her.
”I see… Aluda really did her best.”
”Aluda’s weapon is a hammer, so it was a good match.”
Asuka bowed her head, and Aluda scratched her head shyly.
”You don’t need to put yourself down like that, Asuka. Struggling against the Minotaur was totally my mistake. I got stubborn and tried to fight in this form. ──I should have used ‘Hiroya’s power’ in situations like that.”

If I had probably released ‘Hiroya’, I could have taken them down more easily.

When I turned around, I saw Uu washing her beautiful white hair.
The sight of the wolf maid’s n*ked body was more immature than Kazumi or Rena…

I never expected Uu to be in here too.

After finishing washing her hair, Uu clung to my neck from behind.

Meluda hurriedly got out of the hot spring and tried to pull Uu away.
That’s when it happened.
”Asuka! Are you okay!?”
The door to the large bath swung open with a crash, and Gorge jumped in.
But…
──Clang! Bang! Boom!
Multiple thrown bath buckets instantly hit him on the head, and he fell over, unconscious.
”The only man allowed to see my n*ked body is Hiroya!”
”I can’t believe you barged in like that!”
”Even though there are other girls here… you idiot!”
Liz, Aluda, Asuka… you all have such good control.

”I was out picking up furniture for the new place… When I got back, I heard Asuka was attacked by the Minotaur, so I rushed to the bath… I’m sorry…”
Gorge apologized while Sister Karina healed the bump on his head.
”Rena had cast Protection magic on her. Her chainmail got destroyed, but it only resulted in some bruises and a fracture──Thanks, Karina.”
Asuka checks Gorge’s head and thanks Sister Karina.
”Th-the worse the injury, th-the more exhausting the healing will be… It’s n-not surprising that Mr. Gorge is worried.”
”But even if you were panicking… to rush into a women’s bath…”
Sister Karina follows Gorge, but Gieze glares at him with a stern look.
”I’m sorry…”
Gorge bows his head as he says this.
I start to feel a bit sorry for him, so I decide to support my cute disciple too.
”So, whose n*ked body stuck in your memory?”
”I only saw Uu and Meluda’s butts. They were quite nice shapes…”
Even after being healed, Gorge gets punched in the head again by Asuka.

Meluda buries her face in the table out of embarrassment.

Uu, who was busy preparing dinner, whispered this from behind Gorge.

Noriss muttered quietly, but was also hit on the head by Lotta.

(Liz’s POV)
After dinner, Asuka, Simona, Gieze, Martina, Dorothy, Rena, and I decided to gather in the open space on the second floor to report on this exploration.
Hiroya and Kazumi are keeping Karina company with drinks.
Noriss and Lotta said they would return to their room to write letters to each other’s parents.
The dwarf triplets, Aluda and the others, mentioned they would be trying to forge something in the workshop they completed in the backyard.
As for Gorge… he seems to have locked himself in his room early tonight.

”Is it a Minotaur…?”
Gieze stops her hand, which was bringing the wine glass to her mouth.
”Yeah. It was a troublesome monster of rank A.”
”Probably the strongest among humanoid monsters. ──You saw it too, right? The ‘double-headed axe’ that the wolf maids decorated on the dining hall wall.”
Asuka speaks to supplement my words.
”Is it a monster swinging around an axe that size…? It’s bigger than an ogre or a troll, right?”
”I guess the one we encountered is about 4 meters tall. It’s huge and surprisingly fast.”

Gieze leans forward from the sofa.

Simona takes a big gulp of whiskey.

”Yuh, or we could usea guy who hits hard, ya know? Like you.”
Simona smirks at Asuka’s words.
”Even with Aluda’s help, Hiroya can take down an opponent like that.”
”The problem is, such a powerful monster has appeared on the Third Floor, which is a ‘relatively shallow floor.’ That’s the real issue.”
Dorothy interrupts the conversation between the two.

”Please have them come upstairs!”
I pull away from the playful Simona and call down.
”Helena and Frieda… und a new Thief girl. If I pley to much wit Liz, she’ll git jel-ous.”
Sitting back down on the sofa, Simona’s expression turns serious.
”Probably about the ‘Raetia Great Labyrinth’ matter.”
”It’s a good thing to share information with each other.”
Rena said with a smile, as I guessed.
”But, well, we’re the ones making more progress in the exploration, so it’s more like we’re the ones ‘giving out information’ rather than sharing.”
She continued.
”If that information helps the ‘Rose Hip’ folks with their exploration, then that’s a good thing.”
Dorothy gently interjected to Martina, who spoke as if she was exasperated.
”I see. You’re right.”
Yeah, Martina is always honest and a good girl.
(Now, ‘Minotaur’ and the ‘Closed World’… Helena and Frieda would be surprised too, I bet.)
Imagining their surprised faces made me feel a bit excited.
